Why would he need to be sure of the exchange rate? When he summons an Uber ride, the price of the ride shows in reais on the phone's screen. I am not clear why knowing the exchange rate will have any effect on the ride or service. Uber is a large and ethical company and is not known for deception of riders in Brazil. At the conclusion of the ride, the OP will get an e-mail from Uber with details and cost of the completed ride. I use Uber often in Brazil. I have never been ripped off or disappointed. If the OP uses Uber on his next trip, I suspect he will be rather pleased with the service and the price.

Sadly my experience in Colombia has been sauna- and rent boys from Grindr-free. All my experience is with Chaturbate models from Day 1. Depending on your likes, you can have a splendid time in one or both cities. As a first time visitor to Brazil, I would select Rio de janeiro to be introduced to all things previously mentioned. It has a much more welcoming beat based on size and its overall ambience. Although I enjoyed my visits to Sao Paulo, I did not take that leap until after visiting Rio, one of my most favorite cities, first. Others have alluded to size: I have always felt it much easier to navigate in Rio than in Sao Paulo. Again, while in Rio, I never hesitated to take public transit (buses primarily) and the underground/subway occasionally. Interesting developments ... the Metro in Salvador has been extended to the airport and that portion opened recently. It is mostly above ground or at-grade, tunneled for a mile at Lapa. Also, whereas I once cabbed to Shopping da Bahia and then later cabbed an additional 2 km to Fox, I now realize one can take the Metro to Estação Rodovíaria near that complex, IF able to conveniently embark close to the western section of the line. Similarly, one can take the Metro to the airport (the previous station west of the airport does not look to be quite close enough to Shopping Norte to be feasible), and then from the airport cab or Über to 13, potentially slashing considerable vehicle mileage. Years ago when I flew the airlines very often there was never any issue about giving up seats. The flights were never full or almost never.
