  2. My most memorable Rio punctuality tale: Well-known circuit gogo running on deus disposto time arrived late for an arranged home outcall and, as a result, was going to miss his subsequent appointed stage time. I gave him a few options. Return later, or split the session and paycheque into two parts and return to my apto later for the finale. In either case, added an hour of travel time to his evening and we ended up with the half''n'half solution. Naturally, he tried to bargain for 75% then 66% the cash at intermission. I just smiled and handed him two Metro unitario cards. I later gave him a takeout meal of his choosing that he wolfed down. What a life ... always rushed and trying to look perfect (him of course!). One of his issues had been keeping his busy smartphone charged. I think a great practical yet not exorbitant gift idea for these guys is a compatible Mophie charger. I just purchased one for my iPhone.

  3. Harry Styles is a MAJOR talent. SUPERSTAR! Absolutely loved "Endless Love." Gotta hand it to Corden. Don't know anyone else who can do what he does and do it so well, and be funny.

  4. I see what you mean. - If you stress about being late, you are not enjoying the moment. - If you stress while waiting for someone who is late, you also are not enjoying the moment. I just can't help thinking : Just don't be late and nobody stresses!

  5. When I lived in NYC, I waited for 15 minutes. Then, I made other plans. I made so many upset but that was my limit unless they let me know they were running late. In Brazil, my regular in Sao Paulo, is often 1-3 hours late. I plan for it as he stays as long as needed once he arrives. And, then, he ensures I arrive at my desired destination.

  6. I am planning a short trip to Colombia, first time ever, with my husband and trying to decide between Cartagena (better for my husband as it would be a beach hotel with just some trips into town for sex), Medellin (my favorite, mostly sex) or Bogota (sex and a bit of visiting, I guess). The key decision will be based on the best places where you can find hot guys, choose among the merchandise, and invite them to come to a bedroom (right there, to a love hotel, or to our hotel) for an hour. So, with these esteemed member's help, can we list the clubs / bars / saunas etc. where we can choose among many guys and make a monetary offer to them? Medellin: I only know of Club Tobi. Any other? Bogota: Is Theatron a place were we can buy young trade? Or is it just a gay club where 45-year-olds with not much muscle are going to be ignored? Cartagena: Anything there? Are some of the many gay bars in the San Diego/Getsemani area for trade? Also open to Baranquila info, if recommended. PS: I know that grindr will be great, but we are looking to be able to select "on sight".

  7. From Grandma's Kitchen - For a nice summer twist to your Bar-B-Q, instead of the typical Bun for your burgers or hot dogs, TRY Arepas, sweet corn cakes... It gives a surprising kick to your burger or dog, and you avoid all that bad white flour... You can heat em up in the oven or fry pan, and dress with your favorite condiments.... And, you will have a taste of the Tropics... They are also GREAT for grilled cheese sandwiches... FYI, there is also a CHEESE version.

  8. Since it is slow here right now, I thought to indulge myself with a topic of interest to me. Perhaps others will find it interesting, or not. This morning at the gym there was a guy who I thought to be perfect looking. He had a Clark Kent look once he put his glasses on, but his face has all of the right lines, especially the jaw. He had very nice eyes, emphasized with the glasses. He was in gym clothes, and his proportions were equal to a guy who is quite fit without being considered too muscular. He has perfect calves. I didn't check the feet, sorry. His clothes fit very nicely. So, once this guy leaves the gym, does he lead the perfect life? Do his looks open doors for him? Do people seek out his company? Can he possible fuck all the many, many people who line up before him? Or is just because I am a horny gay old man that I feel this way? Were my testosterone levels low, would I ignore him? Do people want to keep their lovers away from him? Lots of silly questions pop to mind. It's likely that people react to him as a total person, not just a total hunk. He might have a mean streak, or be so self-centered that people avoid him. I don't know. I am just wondering. Years ago I saw a guy waiting to be helped at the front desk of my workplace. It wasn't my job to help him, but I did since I wanted to look at him longer than a pass through would have allowed. I did help him and sent him on his way, but not before asking him, once business was concluded, if his eyes were naturally that blue. If he didn't know before, surely he knew then that I helped him because of that, at the least. One other weird work situation since you are reading this far. The closest toilet to my office was in a public hallway. I looked at the only guy in the room, he looked at me, and next thing I knew he was following me to my office. Once we entered, he turned and locked the door. That act caused me to come to my senses as I had no business even thinking about doing anything at work. I made some excuse about why he was at the place and what could I do to help, clearly not meaning sex since that had already been on the table and brushed off. What would you have done?

  9. I absolutely loved my time there and could have spent days. I mingled with lots of locals and surfers that stay in the area. The sanctuary is amazing to see and yes, it is for tourists but well worth a trip. IMHO

  10. BTW: I have given up my seat voluntarily many times so that couples and families can sit together. However, being forced to move from one class to another is unacceptable just to keep a couple together. If you want to be together, book and reserve together. Otherwise, spend a few hours apart or ask for volunteers. I hate the games airlines play! BTW: I did give up my seat for a honeymoon couple once even though I didn't want to but no one in first volunteered. The flight attendant could do nothing so I volunteered and he gave me 60,000 miles. That is the way to treat someone. Not forcing them to move from their plans. IMHO

    My Visit to Bangkok

I am not bothered by the women. I know what I like and if they are free that night, great. If not, easy to move on. I never liked the gay NYC clubs exclusion of women either. But, I love to hang with ladies and I don't mind the competition. I also think this is where the locals have a bit of leverage. When I lived in Pattaya and was in the bars nightly, I got all the attention and was a known quantity. Even ladies didn't get preference over me. I have an ex who works at BoyzBoyzBoyz and he has a slew of ladies that take care of him and he is well taken care of. He is straight and rarely goes with guys anymore. However, he messages me often and we meet often and he still asks if he can move back in and stay with me and he prefers me to take care of him than the ladies. Part is money but part is also the respect he is given. But, female competition is not something I have worried about anywhere.

  12. I can say from experience that the Pelo sights are easy to navigate independently and the area is fairly commercially upscale. Though it might be a little dicier in the baixa district beyond the transfer elevator's ground level. I just took the ride down for the view and came back up. Take note that sunset is 18:00 at the height of their summer because Bahia stopped observing DST a few years ago and is easterly in the time zone.

  14. I have never once eaten Papa John's pizza. But this whole me/too movement has gone too far. Accuse a guy of something and suddenly all of his films or other works are banned. No trial, nothing. Just the accusation. Yes, many of them are true, and yes, many folks knew all along about the guy's bad behavior. But now they are holier than thou and avoid mentioning their past support. Things that happened years ago are just that. Historic facts. No reason to think, without evidence, that the guy still behaves like that. Our society was built on the rule of law despite what Trump would have you believe. Accusation, trial, defense, judgment. Not just accusation and judgment. And seriously, one n-word and your career is over? Rap stars would all have to shut up.

  16. Recently I had a scary episode where things down there just wouldn't work. It turned out to be stress related. I worked on eliminating the stress, and soon enough I was a teenager again. I hope that these green smoothies don't involve spirulina. Years ago my nephew got me going on that and I ended up in the hospital with uncontrollable vomiting. No more spirulina. I don't think that they did any good to start with.

  17. FWIW my approach with meetings/dates was always to specify a time and emphasise I meant "la hora britanica". This term is widely understood in Brazil and Argentina to convey that they had to be punctual. For first-time meetings in a public place, I'd also specify that I would wait no more than 10minutes. Generally speaking, guys arrived more or less on time.

    Farewell Scott Pruitt

Guys, let's cut POTUS a little slack, OK? Clearly there was a consensus among reputable Republicans that the Trump administration would be a black-hole for careers. Who else but sleaze bags, fools, complete naifs or fanatics with a massive axe to grind even bothered to apply for policy level jobs.? The Donald is doing the best he can with what's available. You think even a bloody bit of snot like Sessions doesn't curse the blind ambition that led him to give up his day job to work for Trump?

    Are Beautiful Men Favored?

I tend to choose my health care professionals at least in part based on how attractive they are. I do have some other requirements (not too old out of fear they aren't up on current health care practices, but also not fresh out of school with no practical experience; for example). I had to choose a new PCP about 7-8 years ago and found a doctor met all of my criteria, including being reasonably attractive (the site I use, Zocdoc, includes pics). It turned out that he sounds like Elmer Fudd. (I'm not exaggerating either...) Well, ideally I only had to see him once a year so I stayed with him as my PCP for about 3 years until he moved. The one I picked after him has no personality. I just chose a new PCP. The selection was pretty sparse when factoring in level of attractiveness and that ranking ended up falling lower on my scale of important factors this time around. lol His ratings seem consistently high so hopefully he'll turn out to be pretty good. Now, my dentist was recommended to me by a friend solely because he's gay. He's not really my type but he's fairly attractive and very skilled. He's been my dentist for about 8 years or so. However, he recently hired a new hygienist. Holy sh!t - he is freaking hot! He can poke around in my mouth as long as he wants! When I made the appointment for my next cleaning, I guess it happened to be on this guy's day of the week rather than the other hygienist's (50+ yo woman) I'm used to. The receptionist asked if I minded the new guy again. I was melting inside but tried to remain calm and replied "Oh, that's fine. I don't care." Not that anything is going to happen between me and any of these healthcare professionals, but it sure makes me look forward to my next visit.

  22. Going from DC to Buenos Aires, I definitely feel safer over there. Yess, pity crime may be more prevalent than in DC, not sure of that, but violent crime is way lower in the areas I move around. Just take the regular precautions you would in any city you do not know. Stay in the avenues, away from dar areas, away from high poverty areas. Pity crime is a certain risk. Locals tend to over estimate insecurity. I wonder if your impression comes from Kirchner times. Media in Argentina is monopolized by a couple of groups, both anti K. As part of their campaign against the administration they would publish pity crime news in the covers with huge headlines every day.

  24. I am not sure what you go to Pointe for, @flguy But If you are worried about hygiene, stop going to Pointe 202 to do what most people do: eat ass, kiss guys that have been kissed by 10 other clients and suck cocks that have already fucked 4 times, that very same day. The jacuzzi should be the least of your hygiene concerns.

  26. 100,000 to 200,000 cp. ($35 to $70). Basic session rate at Tobi is 50,000 cp ($18). Over 100,000 there's rapidly diminishing returns and over 200,000 would be frivolous. 100,000 is plenty high-roller. In Bogota those figures are about double.

  27. Of the several gay massuer places in Bogota I found St. Moritz had the best looking guys. Club Baltimore was the worst and not in the gay area. Chapinero has over 100 gay bars and places. Theatron is in it's center but many are on the north side and next visit I would probably stay at the Holiday Inn just on it's north side. Bogota is a gigantic very modern, almost European city. The hustler bars and the sauna on 57a in Medellin are really disappointing. In a city famous for good-looking people it's odd there on 57a that guys are so ugly. There are gorgeous guys all over Medellin who almost seem to flirt they're so friendly, but popping the question is a skill. Hairy Americans are a sought-after prize there as few Colombians are hairy. I remember one gay waiter in a straight cafe showing me his co-worker's hairy chest like a work of art. The guys on Chaterbate are stunning and very agreeable to meet usually. But there are only a few gay nightclubs. Club Tobi is unique in that it only has 2 or 3 masseurs on duty at a time but they are usually very attractive, very cheap ($20), and very willing to just go straight to sex. Just tell the guy as soon as you're on the table what you want. Or just start. The club is beautiful and clean with attractive customers. Physically it's between Paragona in Zurich and Thermas in Barcelona. Next time I would go there straight and network from the guys working there. Otherwise Medellin can be hard for hook-ups on the fly. There are a bunch of "Prepaygos" on Grindr but I didn't try any. When you fly in take motion pills for the cab ride over the mountain from the airport. Everything in Medellin costs half what it does in Bogota and is nicer. And it's always warm and sunny while Bogota is always damp and cold.

  29. I am doing the whole through trip advisor. I tried Priceline but it would not work for me, the bitch. Yes, going to the Pelourinho is going to be one of the first things in my agenda, right after sucking the first Bahiano. I am not looking for a luxurious hotel. Hopefully I am not going to spend much time in my room, and when I do, I just need a tough and spacious bed to fuck, I can read and write in the lobby. I like the location of the Village Novo, and I did not see complains about its wifi. Praia Da Barra is just accrues the street, the lighthouse is at walking distance. It is also going to be my first experience with a warm ocean. I have never been in the Caribbean, the beaches I have experienced around the world were all cold water ones. I want to do the excursion to the turtles shelter and I want to do some research about scuba diving. I am not a beach person, but I am going to push myself out of my comfort zone.

  30. I would extend that one more dimension: I see many of them living their bisexuality, with authenticity. The binary, bi-is-a-lie message that we Boomers were long indoctrinated in just doesn't ring true to them. I should disclose that old either/or formula doesn't correspond to my life experiences either. I like everything, and have had hot-sex affairs as well as long-term romances with men and women both. In pretty equal measure, now that I look back and tote it up.

  33. frob, I have a very similar medicine history and have been on meds for years for BP and cholesterol.. I am 67, and started to notice my sex drive dropped. Instead of wanting to go out cruising, I would just want to stay home and watch TV. Also erections were infrequent. I finally was referred to an endocrinologist by my primary care doc, and after extensive testing it was found I had low-T (testosterone), the hormone responsible for sex drive and response, and was a candidate for hormone replacement therapy. However, I have not started it due to other more pressing medical issues. I would recommend you speak to you primary for a referral. It is common for mens hormone levels to drop with age. I was glad I found the answer to my problem, and that my doc has a clearcut plan for fixing it. Good luck.

  34. So... As I shared above, when we went with Randisan to the "telo", both of my CCs were rejected and I ended paying cash. Well, today I arrived back home and found a message from the Anti Fraud division of my Visa. That hotel tried to charge U$S 150,000. Yes, it is not a typo. I am wondering, are they very, very stupid scammers, or that old clerk did not know how to use the CC reader and unintentionally tried to charge that amount. Whatever it is, perhaps it is a good idea not to pay with your CC in a "telo" in Buenos Aires. P.S. I am so stone that I wrote a half in Spanish post, I just realized it and fixed it. I think.
