Just wanted to drop a note about Bogota. I was there a few weeks ago and it was my first time in this city, but not Colombia, having visited Medellin, Cartagena, Barranquilla, Santa Marta and Cali before, so I am very familiar with the country at least. What has helped with my travels in Colombia has been getting to know an actual Chaturbate studio (and have visited numerous times), and because of that I have been sifting through its models to be my companions in my travels in Colombia. Days were much better for them, as It was warmer, but they still had to bundle up when leaving the house, and I also had to buy them some gloves and beanies, which was readily available from street vendors for cheap. Some points: 1. I was kind of surprised by how Metropolitan Bogota was. It is not as modern as Medellin, but the pace of the city was much faster than the more laid-back coast. During the day the city had an army of workers who filled the offices, and it was kind of a nice change of pace from more tourist-oriented towns. 2. My Uber driver from the airport to my AirBNB was a tall, muscular and hot Bogotano was also a firefighter. Spoke very little English but very accommodating with my broken Spanish and talked slowly enough for my American ears to understand. Good start to the trip, and his hotness got me worked up for my boys. 3. The AirBNB I rented did not have any issues with my two companions staying with me, and I can imagine them not having any problems if instead I had a rotating harem visiting me constantly in the building. The neighborhood we stayed at was in Chapinero, and I was unprepared on how gay it was. Opening Grindr was like seeing a Christmas tree light up. Granted, there were 3 of us every single time when we walked the streets, but we did not have any problems stumbling out of a bar at the usual ungodly hour, and to look for late-night snacks around Chapinero. We did not have to take any Ubers and appreciated the relative safety of the neighborhood. 7. Even if Bogota is a proper world city, it still had relatively third-world prices for the most part, cheap food readily available and super delicious. The boys insisted in indulging my request to eat authentic Colombian food. I certainly was not disappointed here. And having soup in the morning is a good counter for the cold: 8. There are a lot of things to do in the city, if you are bored with all the indoor sweaty activities. Highlights for us were the Gold Museum, which was free on Sundays (most museums are free on Sundays): and the mountain Montserrate, which had a church on top of it, which we took a cable car to get up to: 9. Sadly, I did not have the opportunity to check out the saunas. Maybe next time. 10. And finally, and probably the highlight of our trip (apart from the sex, of course), was visiting Theatron, the legendary gay bar in Chapinero. Saying it is a bar, of course, does not describe the venue accurately, because Theatron is really 13 bars in one: it was this large stadium type dance hall: surrounded by 12 other gay bars, each with its own theme and vibe: We all agreed that Threaton was a destination on to itself, and the sheer variety of what you can find in the place deserves multiple trips back. We only had time to go on a Saturday night, and there was a tremendously long line of energetic party-goers trying to get in, but once we paid the 35,000 COP ($12) entry fee, which included a hard plastic cup we used to get our unlimited drinks (between 10 PM and 2 AM), we took advantage of the various venues the place had. Traditional dance tunes, electronica, latino music, trance, chill music, you name it, they had it. But probably the crowning jewel of the place was in the 4th floor, which was a men’s only floor. We did not know why women weren’t allowed until we saw this: I will definitely go back to Bogota, possibly alone next time. There is so much more to see.

So after a long haul (27 hours inc layovers), i finally made it to Rio. I arrived just after 1.30am and used airport taxi service per Pauleiro's suggestion, which is the second stall right outside the exit. The next day i went walkabout in nearby shops. By mid-day i went to the beach and had caipirinha (R19) and some sort of fishball (R19). Love the drink but i thought the fishball is meh. Afterwards i went back to my hotel to sleep for my first sauna adventure. Due to excitement i didnt really sleep well, probably just half hour shut eye. I got up at 4pm, showered and walked to Point 202 which 14 mins walk from Americas Copa Hotel. By the way, earlier when i walked around downtown and at the beach, i didnt see any particularly hot guy. I saw one but i think hes a tourist. I was a bit disappointed as i was hoping ill see hotness everywhere. So i was hoping that the sauna will change that. I leisurely walked to 202 trying to immerse myself to the environment. As a former high school teacher of English, now retired and lovin' it-- I admired my students visually but NEVER wished or desired to have them sexually. Thus, my personal and professional lives were spared of scandal, utter embarrassment, a violation of one's trust in the other , jail or prision, fines, etc. Unfortunately, two teachers, who I knew as fellow colleagues, got "caught up" with some of the young female students and found themselves imprisoned for years. I had a gastric sleeve done at Bumrungrad in December 2017. I thought others might like to hear my experience. First, I spent a lot of time researching and talking to my doctor. He recommended a surgeon for me and I met with him. I liked him and we set a date for the preoperative procedures which included sending a camera down my throat and heart exam, etc. The throat exam was done under anesthesia and thus I remember nothing. But, all the doctors I met with signed off on the procedure so it was a go. The cost for the surgery was estimated at 650,000-700,000 Thai-Baht which included 4 nights in the hospital. The procedure itself took 2 hours. I was in the post op room for 2 more hours and then in my room. The doctors and nurses took great care of me in the room. The first night was very uncomfortable but not a great deal of pain. They did have me on pain killers. It was hard to sleep though although I felt I got more sleep in those 4 days than ever in my life. I had two doctors that checked in on me daily. The nurses were never more than one minute away if I pressed the button. They were professional and the room was great. I opted for a single room and it had a table and chairs and a sofa. It allowed me to move from my bed to different places in the room during the day to sit and read email, etc. The hospital Internet was great and never went down. The food was very bland as I was on an all liquid diet but that was expected. When the doctor released me, I felt fine and no pain. I had to go back to the doctor two times the first week to have the stitches removed and get checked. All was good and after those two visits, I was told to come back in one month. They put me on an all liquid diet and it has been fine. After 2 weeks of surgery I lost 25 pounds. Last week was the 4 month mark and I have lost 100 pounds since December. It has been an easy transition and much easier than I expected. I had little pain and little discomfort after a week or two. I have adjusted to real food but smaller portions. I am now swimming one hour per day and it has been healthy for me. I walk much better and am so much more active. My sex drive is up and I decided to start PrEP as there are just too many sexy Thai guys that need my assistance. My pants sizes are down and I feel better than I have in many years. It was a very good gamble for me to get the surgery. I am quite happy with the results. I can't express how much I recommend Bumrungrad. As many people know, Calvin Klein owns a house near Rio de Janeiro (or he did own one not long ago). 2 days later and in hindsight: I was accused, right here, of gloating about my trip to Brazil (which I thoroughly described back in December), so maybe I should have been more careful not to repeat the same sort of accusation, since I should know that it is hard to describe spending money on travels and boys without sounding to at least some people like you are bragging.
