I’m back in Sao Paulo and already having a blast. I was going to go to Lagoa today, but there were lots of GP’s on grindr who will travel to you, which is so convenient. I found a nice plush apartment on airbnb, and I’m finding it is a better experience hooking up in the comfort of my room - it also seems like the guys are in less of a rush than in the sauna. The building allows visitors, and the doorman makes a copy of each visitors i.d. Anyway, early afternoon I had “Paulo” come over. He asked for 150 for an hour with goza. He has a gorgeous face and was great in bed, totally vers which is always a plus, as I love to 69 and flip fuck. He came while riding me - I love when the guy stays hard while you are fucking him, and it’s an extra bonus if they cum while doing so. I thought I was done for the day, but then started talking to a guy from Bahia named Bruto. He also asked for 150 for full programa with goza. So around 10pm I told him to come over - wow, what a cock he has. He was activo only, and amazing in bed. He told me he had yet to cum today, and seemed super horny. We fucked probably at least 30 mins and he wanted to keep going, but I already came. He shot a massive load all over my chest...no wonder he has 3 kids and is only 25. Tomorrow I will probably check out Lagoa, and definitely I’ll be hitting up Chile Pepper hotel at some point this weekend.. I’m posting pics because they were advertising on grindr and probably have other online escort ads2 points

"Ripped off" Where does that come from? Imported cars into Brazil have a 100% import tax. That tax applies to everyone. Computing the tax together with the exchange rate, I think Rodolfo did quite well with the automobile purchase despite his getting the money to buy the car from us, his over charged customers.2 points -

Was there 7 years ago and had a wonderful cultural visit thorough out the country and bought a few nice carpets (almost a fraction of what they cost here in NYC). The Turkish men I saw in Istanbul were extremely hot. Even the police were smoking hot. I remember going to some gay clubs in private apartments but not brothels, Taksim square seemed filled with loitering guys (not sure if hustlers or not). Would probably look on planetromeo. Was with boyfriend and did not look for hustlers at that time.2 points

Funny thing about it. Bangkok is farther, but more often than not, cheaper. I live in Ft.Lauderdale and Brazil is an easy trip. But for the past 5 years I have been spending 6 months in Bangkok and 6 months in Florida. I’ve stopped going to Brazil. I easily get fares for under $1000 to Thailand. Brazil can be twice that. Airbnb is half the price of Brazil. The entertainment factor in Bangkok is way ahead of Brazil. I had great times in Rio. I met TotallyOz down there. I am hoping to get back there soon. But now in retirement my money goes much farther in Thailand. I also spend time in Vietnam which is half as much as Thailand and a beautiful country.2 points

Sorry, the places you mentioned in your question are no longer fun places for gays. You left off one of the few remaining European cities where a gay can have unrestricted gay fun - that place is Barcelona. Not only that, the weather there is usually fairly nice. Zurich is over ridden with dishonest Romanians and lady boys from Thailand, Cambodia and close by areas. There are some occasional nice Brazilians in the sauna and/or on line. Vienna has become a desert for finding guys (except for conniving and dishonest Romanians). Budapest is not friendly to foreigners, especially since the Hungarian election twelve days ago whereby a Trump like bigot won their election - see this - (fits Trump to a "T") https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hungarian_parliamentary_election,_2018 Read some of the comments shown in the above citation - here is just one of them: "the result will give very strong legitimacy to Fidesz & strengthen Orban's resolve that hatemongering works. That's a race to the bottom." In short, foreigners are not welcome by the winning party in Hungary. Sorry to cause you concern about your choice of location for your vacation. You might want to check to see how much the airline charges as a penalty to change your itinerary. You can see from reading this forum, Brazil seems to be a place where most, if not all, can have a grand time. I completely agree that you would have a great time in Brazil under normal circumstances. If Brazil is not an option for you, you did mention Istanbul as a stop over if you choose. It has been a while since I visited Istanbul. If I recall, there were some interesting saunas there where there was a lot of action but those who participated pretended they were not gay. The city was not clean. My most enjoyable thing I did was have lunch on a boat while it went down the Bosphorus but that would not satisfy a vacation. Bucharest was already mentioned by another poster. Good luck2 points

I agree, assembly line sex can never be a good as the first one of the day or evening. Several years ago at Lagoa, Rodolfo came across two guys (a garoto and a client) having sex in the pool near the television. Rodolfo screamed at them and said they should do what they were doing in a room. He shouted they were cheating him out of the price of a room. Rodolfo then called over several large and strong garotos and told the garotos to grab the guys from the pool and drag them to the lockers to change and then have them expelled from the sauna. When I witnessed that show I thought that Rodolfo had over reacted. All that fuss and drama over a thirty reais room! On the other hand, the water could have been contaminated from the behavior done in the pool. Such funny things we see in Brazil!2 points -

Amazon's Choice: Low Taxes or Gay Rights
OneFinger and one other reacted to tassojunior for a topic
After the Georgia/Delta Airlines/NRA debacle Amazon is going to be very cautious about Atlanta or locating in any of those type states. Since more liberal states have higher taxes and therefore state money, they can afford to at least match any subsidy more conservative states can offer. These huge projects depend on very substantial local subsidy (corporate welfare) and they don't want it to be shaky. "High taxes" don't matter because a company like Amazon will undoubtedly get an exemption from all state and local taxes for many many years. They'll get free (tax-free) land, and billions of dollars of other "subsidies" that will take any risk out of the project. Austin, Atlanta or Raleigh would be very attractive locations if it weren't for them being in batshit crazy right wing states. Amazon 's not stupid. It doesn't want to be any state's liberal whipping boy.2 points -
So later tonight Bruto whatsapped me and asked if I wanted to do a 3some with him and his friend Diego tomorrow. He said they could do double penetration, which is an insane idea considering they are both hung as fuckk. I’m not really interested in permanenty destroying my ass I told him I would let him know later, I def would like a solo repeat with Bruto..2 points

Since get-togethers among forum members are the topic ju jour, I was thinking what a hit Oz would have on his hands if he invited us all to Bangkok, where he lives, for a Bangkok Boytoy Weekend! We could all fly over there and pick up a date for the event. Oz could add to it by inviting all of the guys he has hired in Thailand to entertain us. The popular Bangkok street food would do for the eats part. But, you say- Bangkok is too far away! So why not a Brazilian Boytoy Weekend, where Oz would join us in Brazil with all of the garotos he has hired? Still too far away? Okay, in the interests of getting this thing off the ground, I suggest the Boise Boytoy Weekend, where there would be no locals hired by Oz, but we could ask the famous Boys of Boise to join in- if they can get a pass from the nursing home!1 point

Interesting article in today's Amazon-owned Washington Post on the dilemma facing Amazon as it chooses a new site. Progressive places that enforce equal rights for gays, or a place less progressive (if at all) but with lower taxes: https://www.washingtonpost.com/business/economy/the-unspoken-factor-in-amazons-search-for-a-new-home-jeff-bezoss-support-for-gay-rights/2018/04/20/9cfa8c66-31e6-11e8-8bdd-cdb33a5eef83_story.html?utm_term=.6ea43620ecee1 point

Perfect choices. Berlin is way underrated. It's a huge city much like Paris and beautiful. The people are as fashionable as anywhere and the nightclubs are easily the world's best (London 2nd). Decadence has always been "in" in Germany, especially Berlin. The main gay area is around Nollendorfplatz subway. There are 5 gay hustler bars there on one street that have been there forever. Hustling is a tradition in Germany and the rates are under 100E. The bars (except for BlueBoy and one small one) are mostly Romanian so be extra cautious. There are also several nude and fetish bars. The trendy nightclubs are close to AlexanderPlatz and Berghain, the world's most "in" club is easier for gays to get in. Lab.Oratory next to it is all gay and I hear gives new meaning to "decadent". Those two should be at the top of any "I've been there" list. Prague has been discussed plenty and the Prague thread here is very current. With both cities, although there is some bar scene, 99% of the good ones are online (Hunqz.com).1 point -

No. I haven't expressed myself correctly. When I am referring to the discovery function I am talking about the Explore function. When you're using the explore function people see that you're writing from another place. But that's not the point. Grindr let's you choose if you wanna get invisible to users which are using the explore function. Many GP's are using this function to avoid to talk to customers which are not near and/or that are wasting their time. If they turn this setting on, you will not see them using the explore thing. Meanwhile.... If you fake your GPS position, without using that function, you will be sure to get 100 % of the profiles.1 point -
Much appreciated to all replied. It sounds like central Europe doesn't have much to offer, so I have completely changed my mind. My new plan is Berlin, Prague before Istanbul. I may hop over to Vienna on a separate ticket since I just realized Vienna is only 50 minutes by plane or 4 hours by train from Prague. Istanbul visit is mainly for sightseeing and cultural tour. But in the meantime, I will go online and/or check out the local saunas and clubs, and just go with the flow. I went to both Madrid and Barcelona last summer, yes these are fun places. I am also familiar with Brazil and will be there again in a couple weeks. Anyway, I hope I am not setting myself up for some disappointment this summer in Europe.1 point

So I arrived at Lagoa around 7pm Friday evening, and it wasn’t as busy as I remember it being, and certainly less busy than 117 has been recently. Garotos outnumbered clients and were aggressively courting business. I don’t like to be pressured into anything too fast though. There was one stunning model-looking guy that I was interested in, but he literally seemed to have one client after another and I was never able to catch him alone. I also am not sure if I want a GP who has already been up to the cabins 4 or 5 times by the time he gets to me (enthusiasm in bed seems to wane as the night gets later). A very tall Cuban looking guy named Roberto caught my attention. His cock wasn’t as large as his 6”4 height might have suggested, but he had a nice upward-curved shape and was certainly adequate. After getting to know him a little more in the sauna we agreed on 150. He was a very good lover, cariñoso and a good kisser. The fucking was good, but he was only about 80% hard by the end. Certainly he is not the fucker that Bruto is, but I still enjoyed the programa. There were two older clients fucking each other in the jacuzzi tonight, which I found slightly distasteful. Pretty sure I saw some cum floating around afterward. I kind of feel if you go to Lagoa you should find one of the boys to fuck and do it in the rooms lol.1 point -

Ricardo from Point 202 got a new tattoo all down his arm. To me it is ghastly, but of course I didn’t tell him that. I’m not really a fan of tattoos in general, but some guys can look ok with them depending on size and placement. This one is just way too much (in my opinion). Also, color tattoos rarely age well.1 point

Salvador, BR — new Sauna, Thermas Club 13.
Alaskabear reacted to SolaceSoul for a topic
There’s a new sauna that recently opened up in Salvador da Bahia, in the Itapuã section way northeast in the city (on the way from Barra to the SSA airport, a 20 minute-drive from the airport). I have not been yet, but I was told by a very reliable local source that this new sauna has working boys. The Instagram page also shows that, interestingly, it offers live music as well as the usual Brazilian drag show host. The IG page is here: https://www.instagram.com/thermasclub13/ The address is: R. Calazans Neto, n°13 - Itapuã, Salvador - BA, 41610-760, Brazil. It’s in the former Blue Space Club, if that means anything to anyone here. The location in relation to some other saunas is: a 25 minute drive north of the worthy Sauna Fox in Pituba, and only 7 minutes north of the old (noe permanently closed!) Sauna Persona 12 in Boca Do Rio. It’s about a 30 minute drive across town to the most popular garoto sauna in Salvador, Planetario 11, in Tororó, and about 37 minutes across town from Sauna Olympus (if you dare!), in Dois De Julho. Feel free to report on this new Bahian sauna here.1 point -

This must be one of those “your mileage may vary” situations. I normally encounter good to great “service with a smile” service providers who seem to go the extra yard to keep the businessy personal relationship (or the personally business relationship) going. It’s about half and half for me — and I‘d say in the field of sexual chemistry, commerce or not, that those numbers are pretty damn good odds. But then again, I’m more of a “go with the flow” kind of guy whose policy regarding interpersonal interactions in general is “expectations create disappointments”.1 point -

I am not seeking agreement regarding what my strategy would be with Miguel ... just "brainstorming". But I would give him a 50 with a note conveying appreciative gorjeta and 'Zap digits. But after the show ends. Maybe even knock on the dressing room door for a very brief exchange. I can say for certain that one guy in the lineup, at a minimum, will normalize Miguel exploiting you for mutual benefit even if Miguel is a fence-sitter. The group may also demonstrate hearty levels of mirth about your shameless puppy-dog fanmail. A small price to pay for potential groin gain. I think it is best to let the guy take the lead on the next move. I think by now you can sense I am living vicariously through you. But by all means approach this your unique way.1 point -

There's a few threads on Bogota and Medellin but they get sort of lost. I'll try to remember most details. Bogota is certainly worth the trip just for a visit to the Gold Museum if nothing else. Hundreds, maybe thousands of beautiful Pre-Columbian gold pieces of art and jewelry displayed in a modern museum. The Botero museums in both Bogota and Medellin are also very visit-worthy. Bogota is the "Capital of the Andes" high in the Andes and populated by Inca descendants. Cool and often cloudy. But Bogota is a big (8 million) modern, European-like city. It's clean and safe. Everything costs twice as much as Medellin and everyone seems to wish they lived in Medellin. Bogota has a huge gay scene. Chaperino is the gay area of Bogota and Theatron nightclub is the largest in Latin America and possibly the world. There are also a dozen "saunas with masseurs" in Chaperino. Each has 5-10 massuers. In Columbia, unlike Brazil, the guy has to put you on a massage table and at least make the pretense of starting a massage. In fact, in all the ones I visited in Bogota, this is all you get, possibly with happy ending. There are 1 or 2 nice looking guys at each sauna but then you run into attitude. And the prices again, are twice Medellin's for half as much. In summary, the guys in Bogota are not super good looking, have attitudes, and are not cheap. Medellin is more a tropical city (even though it's in a deep Andean valley-beware that ride in from the airport). It's bigger than you'd expect ( 2 million) but doesn't seem that big. Usually perfect weather and very friendly smiling people. The people are a beautiful mix of mostly Spanish European with a little Inca and Central American Indian. Think the more European looking Mexican or Argentine types. (The only blacks in Colombia are in the far-northeast Carribean islands). They stay in pretty good shape physically and are extremely active sexually. One-quarter of the guys on Chaterbate are in Medellin and they are easy to talk with and set up meetings on Chaterbate. I would highly recommend this as Medellin can be hard to hook-up once there for some reason. Grindr has a lot of profiles with "prepaygo" titles, which is slang there for escorts. I would be leery of strangers off Grindr though. Networking works best in Medellin. Besides trying to snag a guy in the several gay nightclubs in the Laureles neighborhood, there are two main venues in Medellin for cash-and-carry guys, Club Tobi and Calle 57. Club Tobi is a beautiful big modern clean sauna with masseurs who do a lot more than massage. It's about 3 blocks in on Calle 47 from the main street, Oriental (you must use street #'s in Medellin there are no signs). I understand Christain, who was a solid 9/10, has moved to Europe. There are usually 3 masseurs each day, but other employees rotate as masseurs and are available. Unlike Bogota, you get on a massage table, then anything goes immediately. There is a big gym where the employees and masseurs work out all day so they stay in excellent shape. The fee for "massage" is about $25, all-inclusive. This is one of the most-sought-after jobs in gay Medellin. I would certainly get phone numbers and referrals here, ie: network. Both customers and massuers are extremely attractive. Calle 57's 1st block west from the main street, Oriental, is a marketplace of male meat. There is a smallish hustler bar with roll-up front making the guys spill on the sidewalk. Across the street is a larger nicer gay hustler bar and an hourly gay sex hotel (painted in rainbows). You pick a guy and get a room. The "street" is more an alley and the two hustler bars and the hourly hotel are all within 20 feet so it's a very transactional place. It opens about 5 or 6 and gets crowded later. I am extremely picky and unfortunately out of dozens of available guys there I rarely see one who's attractive. This is amazing in Medellin, a city of truly attractive guys. There is also a small dirty sauna with masseur a few doors down, but again, extremely ugly. Do not venture further down 57 or on the other side of the cathedral there. There are supposed to be a couple gay venues but totally not worth the danger on the other (west) side of the cathedral. You will be mugged. Parque Lleras in the touristy area of Polanbo is a gay bar/cruise area that is supposed to be easy to meet guys in. I haven't tried it. Neither have I tried the gay nightclubs in the Laureles neighborhood. But Medellin is very gay-friendly and it's really easy to pick up guys. It's just that it helps a lot if you prepare with dates off Chaterbate and network from Club Tobi. The pickings off just Club Tobi and Calle 57 can be limited. A great thing is flights to Colombia are plentiful, fast and cheap. Not much further than Florida. Avianca is a great airline and besides American, United, Delta, JetBlue and even Spirit fly to the big cities, usually for $150 each way. Hotels, especially in Medellin, are very cheap as well. The worst part of the trip is the long ride over a huge mountain from the airport to Medellin in a small taxi. https://www.facebook.com/elclubdetobico/ yes, the guys really look like those in the Facebook profile ! https://outincolombia.com/2017/02/15/medellins-main-party-zone-becoming-a-gay-nightlife-hotspot/1 point -
I have no good reason to doubt it. I go for that type so I am usually communicating with them and I inquire about their fitness activities. And usually have 1:1 time off-site, as well as FB or Instagram access. Perhaps some want to play their cards close with me, or they worry I might show up at an event. Or I may be wrong place or time. In North America these types are candid with me, and the Brasilians "come across" as comfortable generally. In any case, many certainly look the part and that is the important thing. In 3 years I have intersected with just one, that I recall, and he had already been familiar to me as a circuit competitor. But it is just in the past 2 years that I have increased communication with new guys, with improved language mastery and mutual ID sharing. My longterm goal is to become a spray-tan and body-oil volunteer intern.1 point

Some Rio/SP Sauna Questions
redxs reacted to SolaceSoul for a topic
There are quite a few competitive bodybuilders and physique competitors at 117, Lagoa and 202. During my visits, I’ve met some local and nationwide champions and top medal placers — old and new. Some still go, and it’s always a revolving door of new faces and bodies — especially in a downturn eco only. I’m not an internet name dropper or picture poster, and since I appreciate and respect anonymity (and would expect to be given the same by garotos and clients alike), but if you have an eye for muscle, you can easily spot the ones who are either near-competition-ready or off-season.1 point -
I used (and recommend) Uber at all times of the day and night in Rio and Sao Paulo. Always cheaper than a regular taxi in both cities. If you don't speak Portuguese, entering your destination in the app also makes sure you avoid any confusion about where you are going. When you asked about the bracelet thing, I thought you were talking about bars, rather than saunas. In Rio, there truly are not many gay bars. The Week is fun on Saturdays (but they use a card instead of a bracelet), and I definitely recommend TV bar on Thursdays for their event called HOLE, which is a live sex show where you are invited to participate...literally anyone can touch/suck/finger the performers, who spend about 15 minutes sucking and fucking each other on stage, starting around 12:30/1:00 AM, until they cum. After the performance, the customers disappear behind the curtains that are put up for this event, and a lot of cocksucking ensues. The "bracelet thing" happens more in Sao Paulo (and maybe in straight bars in Rio...I have no interest, and thus no experience in this area). The way it works is this: you decide when you enter whether you want to simply pay the cover fee (entrada), or if you would rather do what they call "consumação", or consumption. If you want to pay the cover, they will put a bracelet on you with your individual number, and you will pay the fee when you leave (plus any additional fees if you decide during your stay that you want to buy something after all). If you want to do consumação, it is still tied to your bracelet number, but the cover fee is higher...BUT you don't have to pay it as long as you purchase/consume beverages/other items that total at least the amount of the entrance, which is often about double the price of the cover fee. It was a little difficult for me to understand the system initially, but it basically means that nobody goes in for free. At The Eagle in Sao Paulo, for instance, you may pay the equivalent of $5 USD for the entry, or $10 for the consumação fee (equivalent to about two drinks). If you do consumação, and you have two drinks, when you leave, you simply pay for the drinks you had (so, nothing additional for the cover fee...you consumed enough to cover your entry fee). If you do entrada, and you purchase nothing additional, then you simply pay the cover fee when you leave. I enjoy drinks when I'm at a bar, so I did consumação each time, and I was never disappointed in my choice. The only oddity is you really do have to decide before you enter which option you want to choose.1 point
