The Week and LeBoy are like night and day... While both were night clubs...they cater to different clientale... Because LeBoy also had the sauna...you got the horny Cariocas as well as the typical gays who like just watch hot guys, hence there were go go boys there most of the times I went You could also go to get your freak on in the balconies which were dark....almost too dark... The Week caters to the upper class Cariocas Barbies....the hot tourists that come to Rio to enjoy the sun and go out dancing and drinking until the sun comes up...Like at a Circuit Party... While you will definitely see the gay sauna boys there, you will likely be ignored You will likely be ignored if you arent a hot Barbie, have a shit load of money and look like it or just be attractive and young and hot... Take the hot gays on the beach during peak season, the ones from Ipanema and put them in shorts with no shirts, drinks and drugs, very loud music and a huge crowd

i sent a copy of the review(w/o names) to the owner of MR and this is what he wrote back: the bar upstairs , the ceiling is very low but it is very cute... Yesterday we had a very good night. The best night after inauguration day...and we have to improve many things but everybody who goes there, like the place. I have a lot of new boys and the rooms are very neat and clean. It is compact but very charming. If the rooms are for 1 hour, does that mean the garoto would stay with you a full hour if you want them to? Or would they ask for more for a full hour. I went to Manhattan Rio for the first time tonight (Monday) - It is a pretty far walk from Cinelandia metro station - at least 10 minutes. Centro is a sketchy area and at night you definitely should not walk back to the metro. Uber was about 22 reals to get back to Copacabana -The club seems small and I felt a little claustophobic in it. The ceilings are extemely low. They are not much higher than 6 feet. My head was almost brushing the ceiling. Very small bar area, very small smoking room, small steam room. Everything seems shrunk here. Much inferior to 117, Point 202 and Lagoa -Lots of garotos were working, at least 25. They were all guys I had never seen before at 117 or 202. The guys are definitely not model types. Some were cute but in a guy -next-door way. More toned/skinny body types vs muscle. There were a handful I thought were cute, but I didn’t necessarily want to pay for them. Most started out asking 150 and then lowered to 100. I think 80 would be a more fair rate, and someone said locals pay closer to 50? For 50 I would go with a few of them. The garotos overall seemed down-to-earth and without the attitude you sometimes encounter at 117. -The same drag queen performed as at 202. -Suites were free tonight (Monday night) -No wi-fi and my cell had poor service inside -Overall I prefer 117 and 202. if you call their reservation center, the stopover in Panama should be free.....so it's not priced point to point. Is charged as though you are just connecting in PTY. But you will have to pay the phone res fee....they're a great airline and great flight crews (lots of young cuties) imo, I have plat status with them and 100% of the times am upgraded. It is close to the airport true and it is the building next to the italian consulate. But the only 2 times i've been on that road after 10PM, have been enough to show me to don't go to centro at night :D. Once the road Av. Mal. Câmara (just behind the new sauna) was closed because of a shooting occurred between police and criminals. The second time a worker at the italian consulate got nearly killed during an attempted (and failed) assault. I'm not saying that this cannot happen in Copacabana or Gloria....i'm saying that it's in the beginning of the wrong side or Rio. If i'm not wrong SDU closes at 11PM. I would and i will make sure to leave before that time, since that road already has little to no traffic at 10PM. It's not a very dangerous area, but it's neither a very safe area. I'd say quite dangerous when the airport is closing and the consulates in the near buildings are already empty from hours. Of course i don't pretend to make a prediction....mine is a guess, since i will anyway go to the new sauna one day. But for some reasons I'm thinking it will have the same boys of NMM; which I don't like. Hopefully I'll be wrong.
