Monday night i was told there were 39 Escorts working at Manhattan-Rios, they are shooting for Monday and Friday nights to be their biggest nights as it used to be at Meo Mundo! they are running special deals every week so check their FB page. FYI, Rio G Spa continues to be good on the weekends, but is pretty dead during the week. I tried Sauna Clube 29 in Botafogo (non-garoto sauna) on a Friday afternoon and it was not good at all...hardly anyone there.

Has anyone here ever been to Seven Cabins cruise bar in Rio? I’m planning to check it out on Friday. Also, I went to The Week this past Saturday. Entrance is only 20 reals if you register for the list on their website. The club is huge and was totally packed. I found it hard to meet anyone there because the guys were all in their friend cliques and the music was so loud. I didn’t see any action going on in the bathrooms either like I had read about online. Overall I would say it is a good place to drink and dance with friends but not great for finding a hookup. It’s also kind of far from Ipanema, although the uber ride was only about $9 each way. Drinks are also expensive. About 40 reals for a regular mixed drink. They had a special of 2 redbull vodkas for 90 real (28USD)

I should have mentioned that for the second part of the trip instayed at arena hotel in ipanema. It’s a nice modern hotel with rooftop pool. i had one guy to the room without issue. He was from netgay Oliver santos is his stage name so to speak. He is actually from SP and was planning to see him there but he was in Rio by chance. Very very nice body and nice guy and more upscale that sauna guys (for want of a better world). Did not get questioned taking him into hotel even though hotel has a no guest policy. Not sure if this if this is because he was well dressed and because he is a bit older (ie 30 and I’m 42) so not obvious rent boy or just because they don’t enforce or just lucky
