  2. Chili Peppers in Sao Paulo is a gay hotel/sauna with private suites with Jacuzzis. You can find a boy on premises (not rent boys), or, more wisely, bring your own. Of course is more expensive than a regular suite at other saunas.

  3. Picking someone up at an actual bar?! So retro. I may have to try that again one day.

Nixon, these days, sounds like an ultra-liberal Democrat. How times have, so tragically, changed.

  5. Forgive my mistaken understanding of the question. Here where I am (Raliegh NC), backpage is today the go-to for paid escorts. The place here to find unpaid hookups are the two gay bar/clubs downtown, Legends and Rounds (if memory serves as to the second name).

  6. The bulk of these replies are not about finding escorts, but finding sex. Backpage is good (or, maybe not good, but at least on-theme) if you are looking for an escort. Not good AT ALL if you are looking to find a hookup. The thing about Backpage is that many of the ads are catfish. Photos of the same guy posted in multiple cities at the same time. Or, try searching the phone number provided, and you often find it attached to photos of many different guys, in different locations. It's often a bait-and-switch. This might be more true in larger cities. I know it to be true in Chicago, Los Angeles, and Houston. Craigslist personals was a cesspool of funny, sexy, nasty, horrifying, and/or repetitive ads from guys simply looking to fuck or suck. Or collect pics. Or play games. Or trade insults. Often frustrating, but sometimes it paid off. Backpage is not equivalent.

  7. How about this backpage ad: http://losangeles.backpage.com/MenSeekMen/classifieds/EnlargeImage?image=167441047&oid=159088292 The ad shows a good looking guy supposedly available through contacting the phone number provided in the ad. However, the ad is a fake. The photo in the ad is one of many photos available of a model named Addis Miller who is currently working in New York (not in Los Angeles where the ad is displayed). https://www.google.com/search?q=addis+miller&safe=active&sa=X&biw=1344&bih=736&tbm=isch&source=iu&ictx=1&fir=AUFRI0nQKnsyyM%3A%2CgBeW7o2VSgHQbM%2C_&usg=__cPl0tI0O1oFMNcT_470WaQL6vYY%3D&ved=0ahUKEwjO4KzwqpDaAhUK2GMKHfVKDTAQ9QEIMzAC#imgrc=AUFRI0nQKnsyyM: Notice in the numerous photos that appear when you open the above link, the photos include one of the photos of the real model in the fake ad. Go through some of the other ad's photos in the backpage ads and perform a similar reverse image search. More than half of the photos in the ads that I checked contained stolen photos readily available from the internet. Be careful if responding to these ads. Backpage might be safer in NC but in LA, it is fraught with danger.
