    Lagoa March 16 Report

For me personally, the issue is not the ability to land a guy that would be at Chili Pepper. That’s not a problem. I do okay in that space. It is the availability there (or lack thereof) of the particular type of guy that I am attracted to: muscular, masculine men. If I can get a free date with it, that’s great, but I’d much rather pay for what I like than deal with what I do not like just because it is free.

@floridarob that was an interesting read. Thanks for posting this link https://outofyourrut.com/10-ways-to-be-rich-without-being-wealthy/ I certainly agree with you that fewer possessions and more experiences enhance life. Consequently I travel for more than half the year, and I’ve done so for 20years. I suspect only ill-health will stop me.

  5. Fascinating. The Book List: What was in Oscar Wilde's prison library? Initially, his access to books was extremely limited but eventually he was allowed to build up a small library, examples of which were put on display at HM Prison Reading in 2016 and are listed above. During prisoners’ first three months behind bars they were only allowed to read a prayer book, a hymn book and the Bible, but after special pleading by Liberal MP Richard Haldane, the authorities relented (Wilde gave the governor at Reading a special signed copy of The Importance Of Being Earnest as a thank you present for allowing more books in). Wilde was not only allowed to keep books in his cell, he was also permitted to leave his light on as late as he wanted to read them. The playwright thanked the governor of Reading Gaol with a signed copy of his most famous play (Getty) The first titles he asked for in June 1895 were The Confessions of St Augustine, various volumes of works by Baudelaire and Cardinal Newman, and one of the key books in his life, The Renaissance by Walter Pater. This was a leading text in the aesthetic movement and instilled in Wilde the drive to turn his life into a work of art. “The Library here contains no example of Thackeray’s or Dickens’s novels,” he wrote in one of his requests for new books. “I feel sure that a complete set of their works would be as great a boon to many amongst the other prisoners as it certainly would be to myself.” Wilde was declared bankrupt and his personal library at home was split up and auctioned. Only around 50 are available in public collections and around 3,000 have never been tracked down. A reconstructed version is available on the Library Thing site (www.librarything.com) and explored in huge detail in Thomas Wright’s book Built of Books: How Reading Defined the Life of Oscar Wilde, which also reveals Wilde’s tendency to tear off and eat the top corner of each page as he read it. ‘A Book of Book Lists’ by Alex Johnson, £7.99, British Library Publishing Find a list of the books US forces found on Osama bin Laden’s shelf here https://www.independent.co.uk/arts-entertainment/books/features/oscar-wilde-prison-library-a-book-of-book-lists-reading-gaol-a8265866.html

  6. I arrived in Sau Paulo Thursday, and it is definitely a change of scenery from Rio. Very much a NYC vibe on the streets. My first impressions of Lagoa is that it is the nicest of any sauna in Brazil. I would rank it above Club 117. I love the jacuzzi outside, which usually has a couple hot garotos jacking off at any given time. The club also seems to be much more spacious than both 117 and 202. Also love the see-through showers. Interestingly 3 of the garotos I had seen before working at 202. So many hot guys to choose from on a Friday night. The majority extremely well hung. Met a guy in the jacuzzi named Fernando. Very handsome moreno with a nice upwardly curved cock. He asked for 150 and was great at everything. I took some extra time feeling out his vibe before hiring him, and he had no problems kissing, sucking. He did not ask for more after either. There was another drop dead gorgeous guy that I saw when I first walked in. I wanted to talk to him but was never able to find him again...no doubt he is in high demand. I stayed from 4 until 7. Tonight I am driving to Ilha Bela for 2 nights. Definitely would have liked to stay at Lagoa longer...

the guys i have met are more Spanish , i am not really attracted to the indigenous looking guys not to mention the fact that the indigenous people are extremely short, women being under 5' tall and the guys not much over! Since i am 6'4" we would make quite the odd couple! most of the guys i have met are from 5'6" to 6' I lot of the guys I have been with don't look a lot different then the Brazilerios imho. here is a photo taken at my house at a party and you can decide for yourself. the tallest guy is 6'1"

Do you really expect folks to connect with a link blindly? I am not going to click on it without knowing what it is. From the lack of response here, I don't think I am alone.

I'm the rich one....ask anyone that knows me. Rich isn't just financial wealth, read this article...I hit on almost all the points...I suggest everyone read this, once you are free of the worries/debts/obligations life is good. I've cruised (on ships) QUITE a bit ...many older folk were always amazed that I was able to travel for so long and said I was so young to do so. When I pointed out many things this article talks about, they all agreed it took them too long in life to realize and I was smart to do so at a young age. https://outofyourrut.com/10-ways-to-be-rich-without-being-wealthy/

I learned a long time ago to never make assumptions especially when i don’t know anything about which i am commenting on! 3 of the 4 were free hookups and the 4th got the standard rate which is $500. pesos-($26.80 US). so if you think $26.80 makes me rich ...I really feel sorry for you!

  19. I would be slightly more tolerant than thinking of banning anyone. Let me try my way to say it, I think I am tuned with those criticizing @Badboy81's post. If you want to be negative in a not constructive way, just to spit your disgust for someone or for something, please feel free to do it. But suck it up when you are called out as the negative asshole you are, without bringing freedom of speech to the table. Just suck it up.

Been in Rio for 2 weeks...

Sandunes, thanks for the report! it really surprised me when you said several wouldn’t kiss well or wouldn’t suck w/o a condom!! one thing i tell everyone is Brazilians are the best kissers in the world! one thing i mentioned previously is if i am going to go with a new sauna guy i always say “are you good at kissing?”! and invariably on the spot they will prove they are. they also shows they are not in the least embarrassed to make out with you in front of everyone! As far as not sucking W/O a condom on, i net the last time any garoto asked me to put a condom on to get sucked was at least 10 years ago and then it only happened 2 or 3 times! i think you just ran into some bad luck in your selections! Due to the economy and so many out of work or making less the guys seem more willing to do what ever it takes to get and hold on to customers...ie bottom when they normally are tops for example. i have never had a problem with them arguing about price, then again i realize i am known by a lot of the guys as well they know i am friends with the owners, but remember Sauna guys gossip more then old ladies, there is no doubt your guys said “hey that guy i went with i didn’t have to do much and i got him to pay me more then i agreed to initially!”

  23. Let me help. If you like big muscle tops and a thread is started on that and you say, wonderful. Great. If a thread is started on skinny bottoms and you have to insert an opinion there just to downgrade someone, then, that is not great. That is being an asshole. In other words, we all have preferences. Your comments to the original poster in this thread were rude. And thus why I called you out for being an asshole. If you didn't like this thread, the polite thing to do was to move on to another one. But, to insert your comments when unneeded and toward someone who is trying to contribute positively to the community, makes me wonder why you felt the need.
