I arrived in Sau Paulo Thursday, and it is definitely a change of scenery from Rio. Very much a NYC vibe on the streets. My first impressions of Lagoa is that it is the nicest of any sauna in Brazil. I would rank it above Club 117. I love the jacuzzi outside, which usually has a couple hot garotos jacking off at any given time. The club also seems to be much more spacious than both 117 and 202. Also love the see-through showers. Interestingly 3 of the garotos I had seen before working at 202. So many hot guys to choose from on a Friday night. The majority extremely well hung. Met a guy in the jacuzzi named Fernando. Very handsome moreno with a nice upwardly curved cock. He asked for 150 and was great at everything. I took some extra time feeling out his vibe before hiring him, and he had no problems kissing, sucking. He did not ask for more after either. There was another drop dead gorgeous guy that I saw when I first walked in. I wanted to talk to him but was never able to find him again...no doubt he is in high demand. I stayed from 4 until 7. Tonight I am driving to Ilha Bela for 2 nights. Definitely would have liked to stay at Lagoa longer...

I'm with you on this...I'm frugal but not cheap. I'm VERY clear on what I expect AND the price.....we both live up to our agreements, no problems. You think they'd accept us not living up to ours and take less money without an argument...the sword cuts both ways. Who can fault you for being right....not any reputable place. ONLY one time I had to bring Edgar from Lagoa into it.....he listened to both sides and looked at the boy disappointed and told him "you know better". I'm in Thailand at the moment, and these kinds of things are more frequent (as it is becoming more common in Cuba too). Guys in Brasil almost always live up to that end...one time a guy couldn't get hard and he was embarrassed, wouldn't accept any money from me...that's the way it should be when things don't go as planned.

Agree with SolaceSoul, if losing $30 from time to time is an issue for you, you should find a different hobby.

This issue over a small amount of money reminds me of the famous author, Oscar Wilde, who described a like-kind situation as " a man who knows the price of everything and the value of nothing. Sorry to be so blunt, but the comments and comparison of SolaceSoul are completely accurate. The consequences of making an issue over the tiny amount involved are far more costly than the small amount saved.

What is the ratio of sauna guys who are hot and willing to give me a really good time in bed? Can we differ these from friendly guys in the same category with guys who might not be so friendly such as they will try to fuck me really hard to compensate for some historic wrong? Color is a line which only occasionally gets in my way, and even then it is usually due to a specific attitude that the person has rather than his color. I don't seek out one color just to show that I am open-minded, because when I am at the sauna, it is usually my ass that is open.

You have a right to live your life the way you wish, but as someone who makes a good living doing cost-benefit analyses, I’d call becoming persona non grata at a Sauna with a revolving door of 100s of potential garotos over the loss of what amounts to $30 USD a “phyrric victory”. In the USA, $30 is two tickets to a bad movie, the price of a cheap pair of jeans at Marshall’s, or a hand car wash without detail. A simpler solution would be never to hire that guy again. There are plenty other fish in the sea.

Indeed Southern Brazil is whiter, however I would take very cautiously any statistic on ethnicity coming from Brazil and the South Cone. Because of our specific racist culture, Whites tend to be over represented by national censuses and other data sources. The case is not the data being manipulated, our local racism has much deeper roots. Most people who are mestizo or mulato but look White enough, will self-identify as White.
