I didn’t need to keep a record at that time, I was enjoying myself. I did both spreadsheets only on my return home. My own posts here above reminded me of every hire, and for anything I didn’t write here, the Bank records had all the information (restaurants, sauna bills, gifts etc) It was fun to search back through my memories for the few missing bits. I like remembering Brasil! Cost matters only so much to me, but during this time, I had people telling me they were genuinely interested in replicating some variation of this trip, and were amazed at the low fees for the boys, and I thought it would be helpful to them to realise the true cost, and if their own cost would be different With this spreadsheet, they can remove things they would not do (like a shopping day in Gramado for e.g.) or add what they would do (more days, with sauna every day for e.g.). That is why I did it.

That spreadsheet cracked me up! In the best way. I am lucky to even check my bank statements when traveling, let alone compile such a detailed spread. Bravo!

I will weigh in on this against my better judgment! first Tartegogo thanks for your in depth reviews! It is seldom that someone goes into as much detail as you have, mostly I think because they don't like to tell even anonymous posters on here what they like to do and of course the inevitable critiques/criticisms from posters most of whom are keyboard warriors who have never been to Brazil but feel compelled to add their 2 cents! I have always believed that as long as your not using or asking for my money to do your activities it's none of My Business how or what or how much you spend on your activities. In my first few years of going to Brazil I thought that people that paid more then the "going" rate or gave large tips or presents where going to wreck it for the rest of us! that American would be seen as having lots of money to throw around...I learned the boys are a lot smarter then we think! they know who are the easy marks and know how to work them! I realized that I was Wrong! So now I keep my opinions regarding how much to pay the guys to myself! when in brazil, i somehow avoid boys that have been to europe or US before. i somehow feel that they have lost part of their brazilian "tesao" and that they are not so natural any more. also attitude can be problem with this internationals. luckily brazil is big enough to bring unlimited number of new boys every year.

I appreciate the recommendation of Medellin. It is a destination I have been considering. But regarding the cost (if you factor in the cost of the trip and come up with something like a cost/orgasm...which made me laugh out loud): I would not factor in the cost of the trip. Fucking hookers is not my only reason for taking a vacation. I would be going on vacation anyway...Rio just happens to be a fun place to visit, and the saunas are only one aspect of that. For my own informal calculations, I might factor in the cost of the taxi to the sauna and the price of admission/cabin, and my cost would be nothing like the cost calculated by Tartegogo. Sex is also available for free all over the place in Rio. And I mean hot guys...maybe not the PRIME specimens at some of the saunas, but very hot and handsome guys.

I think that the "problem" is that you don't know the other participants, having met over 100+ americans in visiting Brazil over the past 16 years I can count on two hands with a few fingers left over who I would want to hang with for any length of time( and I am sure many feel the same way about me) I am not saying they are bad guys, just not someone you would want to socialize with just because both of you hire in Brazil! everyone is different and has different standards/likes/types. not to mention everyone is into different things they may not want you to know....i.e. domination/watersports/accessories/etc.. now if you have a friend or two that would like to do this with you different story, but I think your odds of getting a group of americans not to mention garotos to go along are slim to none! I put together my 5 roommates in Rio with input from them finding guys that both of us like and over the last 3 years with some minor adjustments has worked out well. several times we have had new guys stay over but they just didn't work out like the core group. Also your chances go up iexponentiallyf you are a regular visitor and the guys here get to know you! It sounds like this is only your 2nd trip here.
