Excellent report and great photos. Thank you!2 points

Thank you @Darkseraphimthis is excellent reporting. Just one thing for everyone, purely for the sake of accuracy: the map of the legality of prostitution is for female prostitution. There is one case, Japan, where vagina-sex for money is illegal (and you really don’t want to break the law in Japan), but all other types of sex-for-money are legal. So anal sex with boys is fully legal and in fact there are boy brothels that are publicly advertising this and not hiding in any way.2 points

I spent about 8 days in Monterrey Mexico. As Monterrey is a one of the wealthiest cities per capita in Mexico I was not sure what to expect. The experience there left me very satisfied and I now believe that Monterrey, Mexico is definitely an underrated weekend getaway. A contact from Manhunt actually came to pick me up from the airport, which is not something I would ever recommend but we had been messaging each other for nearly a month and I was fairly confidant that this upper middle class Mexican guy would not kidnap me We went to my Air B&B which was located in the Centro section of the city near the Santa Lucia waterway. He wanted to be my first in Monterrey and he was very hungry. Monterrey is in Mexico so I did not have high expectations when it came to the gym build that I prefer. In fact, I was so apprehensive that I actually arranged a guy to come up form CDMX to accompany me. This turned out to be an unnecessary expense still, I did appreciate the company and the flexibility of having sex on demand. There are a plethora of saunas to try as well as the money boys on the websites. If desired I would never have to leave the apartment, I could just contact guys online and have them come over for between 500-1000 Pesos. As I spent most of my days going to museums and eating in restaurants with my companion I only investigated these options for reporting purposes. If you are looking for avilable gym bodied guys to take home later these are the 2 clubs that I would recommend that you visit. 1. La Diosa: basically a hustler bar with strippers. The show started at around 11:30 and the guys were very well built. It is a typical stripper bar where you buy drinks for the time you spend with the guys. There is also a back room or private dances on site if desired. Your best bet would be to go and get the guy's number so that you could arrange a meeting later. 2. La Colorina: a dance club with strippers. The show starts late here typically around 1am. There are a lot of shirtless guys just hanging around. You are free to invite them to your table for a drink and exchange numbers for an encounter later. Unlike La Diosa most of these guys will just wallflower most of the night unless you call them over. I was approached twice by decent looking guys here unfortunately, they just were not the type of guys I flew to Mexico to meet. If you are an app user you will never want for companionship just be prepared that many guys are using YouCam and other photo editing apps to enhance their appearance. There was another bar with strippers that I wanted to visit called Mango's unfortunately, they seemed more geared towards females. My final judgement is that Monterrey is an excellent weekend getaway for food and fun. I had a great time there and I did not spend a lot of money. It is definitely possible to visit for a short period of time and find the kinds of guys that you are interested in. https://mx.mileroticos.com/escorts-gay/nuevo-leon/monterrey/ 0d290ad6-2976-4e6f-b0d7-2e3330c9edf4.mp4 288ab342-8337-49ce-86f4-65fa7b4de0d4.mp4 bc8001c2-644e-4e3b-80c2-73f8b49d172e.mp4 e3f87ee0-b490-4601-bcc6-f28dc772960d.mp4 dc4ff4d0-12be-424b-a1d2-432a777ebd93.mp4 fe4f24f2-7b92-403a-9305-1bf15941e44f.mp4 1d.mp41 point -

@Riobard: Given that we are talking about the rough trade in Latin America bringing the legend of Tristan & Isolde into this is very interesting. Foreign travel and forbidden love may await you In Peru, I was praying the whole time I was in Cusco that there would be no labor action to prevent me visiting and returning from Machu Picchu. The rural economy in Peru is very underdeveloped and these people see literally millions of comparatively wealthy foreigners pass through their country. Many of the indigenous population now have access to mobile devices and entertainment from the industrialized economies. They see the good life on the screens and right in front of them and many now want a taste of it themselves. Given the wealth disparity in many Latin American countries I'm grateful that things have remained relatively stable so far; we can't have the entire Hemisphere acting like Venezuela. I just pray that America doesn't get the Latin America disease as well.1 point -
The new version of FF caused problems for me on many sites. Not sure why but things were different. I am not sure if it was ever fixed or not but I uninstalled it and reinstalled it and it worked OK.1 point

Loving your thoughtful, insightful, eloquent, elegant posts, Darkseraphim. Regarding Peru: I understand visitors to Machu Picchu had a rough go of it recently due to wildcat bus strike and had to walk back a long trek to the stage of transport still operating. Can happen anywhere but resonates with your commentary. Just so you know, I am Tristan's 1st dibs Isolde.1 point -

@Alaskabear: I was having the same thoughts. I mean it's Latin America so anything should be possible with enough money and the right connections. If I could have a dance club like La Colorina, incentivize the house dancers like at La Diosa but, have a system like in Thailand where you could pay a bar fee and take the guys home for a private show that would be awesome. The back room for private dances at La Diosa is a good first step but, I know that Latin America can do better. I will be taking a few weeks off in Feb and March to travel Guadalajara, Leon and CDMX I'll let you guys know if I find anything good since I do plan on visiting the nightlife establishments on a regular basis when I travel OCONUS from now on. I also have no idea why I like Latin guys so much it's probably a fetish I picked up somewhere. Pero, I just love my brown boys and I don't want to give them up1 point -

My very first gay experience was at a stripper bar in New Orleans as well! This was at the Bourbon Pub Parade. I was 19 and stood at the open window and a swarthy blond was dancing on the bar top wearing loose fitting khaki shorts and nothing else except a full hard on. He jumped down, came over, hopped up in the window seal and grabbed my hand and put it in his pants. First encounter and it’s the reason why I still have an attraction to semi public displays of sexuality. Haha. Happy to know you’ve had a similar experience. I was at the corner pocket last winter and though it wasn’t as naughty as I wanted it to be, it was still fun. Thanks for replying and I’m going to have to keep second tier Mexican cities on my radar. I’ve been to PV several times but the last time seemed a bit too tame and I felt too much like a walking ATM when it came to interacting with the dancers. (I mean, more than normal in those situations. Haha). I too like my guys on the darker side and in that environment of “someplace else” that’s not the states. La Diosa sounds like it’s more my style. I wish I could combine the type of bars in Thailand with Montreal style strip clubs but filled with Latinos of all shades. Haha. That would be perfect.1 point -
I agree that he shouldn't be paid but I'll bet there is a partial settlement. I'll bet there's plenty of dirt that could fall NBC's way. Note that their 1st statement said they had no idea about any of his behavior and that statement was later revised that "current management" had not idea about any of his behavior. Sounds to me like dirt has been swept under the rug on his behavior for years and that puts NBC at legal risk. I feel that NBC wants this to go away as soon as possible and that they will make a confidential settlement with Matt to avoid any future legal action over his contract.1 point

@Alaskabear: I love stripper bars! One of my first gay experiences was at the old "Corner Pocket" in New Orleans. That was a great bar back in the day, the boys danced on the bar and you got to feel everything you wanted for only a dollar The "Boardwalk" in Wilton Manors was also a haunt of mine while I lived in South Florida. These places in Monterrey are mostly clubs where strippers perform: La Colorina is explicitly a dance club with a side business in shirtless entertainment while La Diosa is primarily a stripper club/bar. There are probably normal guys who would be willing to accompany you for a few hours in return for monetary compensation but, I don't think the percentage is much higher than say "The Tin Room" in Dallas. The dancers on the other hand would most definitely be available for after hours fun if the price is right. Unfortunately, my conversational Spanish is still rudimentary so I tend to rely on google translator way too much in social situations. All night long at both establishments I saw dancers invited up to tables enjoying drinks, having their firm young bodies touched and caressed in the most intimate places then eagerly exchange numbers with excited patrons. Yes, most of these guys are available for a price. La Diosa seems to explicitly cater to this, I didn't see many street hustlers working the club but the dancers were plentiful and really worked the room. Since I had a companion with me, who basically held onto me all night so that the other guys wouldn't think about approaching, they mostly looked at my table longingly. I wanted to invite one over but, my companion didn't want to share me As Tomcal has taught us the supply of gym body guys in Mexico is not nearly as deep as in Brazil or Colombia however, these guys do exist. I have also noticed an increase in Colombian guys advertising on the escort sites. I believe that the Pacific Alliance that Mexico is now in with Colombia, Chile and Peru basically allows for free movement of people between the countries. I'm going to try and bring a Venezuelan guy from Lima to Mexico City next year and see what happens. Mexico is a lot closer and for me and the plane tickets much less expensive than flying to South America. I'm just a middle class guy right now so when I do the trip calculations in my Excel a week long trip to Dallas and one to any of the major cities in Mexico is about the same in price. The fact that I keep choosing to cross the border instead of juts having fun in Dallas, Houston, Miami or Los Angeles must mean that I'm addicted to brown boys and want to experience them in their native environment1 point -

I don’t speak it, but can read it easily. My bookings for Montevideo and Buenos Aires are done already, via WhatsApp. Google translate has been working very well. The prices are very reasonable, in BA I have bookings for 4 guys to come to my hotel for a total of US$ 320.1 point

Thank you so much for this report! I have a soft spot for stripper bars. Especially ones that allow you to be one on one with the dancers. Judging from the pictures it seems these are more clubs than bars? would you say the average customer is going there for the strippers and hustling or is it more for the party, and the dancers are a part of the festivities (albeit still “available “)? Not that it matters much as I would go to either. I just like the idea of getting down to business than being there to dance and get wasted. Do you have any recommendations for areas of town to stay in? I myself love Airbnb and I tend to stay in nicer, leafy neighborhoods than commercial centers. Thanks again for all the details and all the pics!1 point -

If your question pertains to a visa for Brazil, and if you plan to travel to Brazil in January, next year, or later, you will not need any company to get a visa for you. You will not even need to visit the Brazilian Consulate for a visa. You do not say which country of residence you are. The below link is to an official site for Brazil that explains a major change for getting Brazilian visas. Assuming you are a resident of one of the countries listed in the article, you will be able to get your Brazil visa online. Here is a link that explains how and when: http://www.brazilgovnews.gov.br/news/2017/09/brazil-to-begin-issuing-e-visas-for-australians-in-november1 point -

Lurker was truely a nice guy! He accepted his “flaws” with a self deprication but did not let them stop him from enjoying life! I remember one night in Rio a couple years ago there were 6 of us in a private room at a sushi restaurant, in the course of the evening a minor argument broke out between 2 good friends, while it was going on Lurker gave his CC to the waiter and paid for everyone’s dinner! No one saw him do it and everyone there made much more then he did! He was unselfish, funny and a really good guy and that’s how I will remember him!1 point -

Temples in Thailand are religious symbols and in many you must wear certain clothes to enter. To do what they did is shameful and disrespectful. There is even a sign leaving the airport that talks about how the Buddha is not a collectable but a symbol for the Thai people. When in Rome.....1 point -
@bobbalino Your selected photos absolutely do the Serra Gaucha - and more specifically, Bento Gonçalves, wine country - justice. Exactly what you get when you go there! Favorite months to visit are the coolest, June - early Setember. I generally avoid July like the plague (school holidays), overrun, and twice as expensive. (If combining with Gramado, remember that the second half of August coincides with their annual Film Festival, when everything there is likewise filled to capacity, with sky-high pricing.) Note: I think I may have stayed in that B&B with the hot tub ("ofuro") - with that same featured guy! LOL . A big part of why I prefer the winter months there. Fireplaces in your room are also available, though more common in Gramado. The train ride you pictured, the Maria Fumaça, is very scenic and actually very well done, and runs to Garibaldi - Brazil's sparkling wine capital. Wine, bubbly, hors d'oevres included in the fare. The local guys I took all loved it. Have you taken the 'luxury' train from Curitiba (Parana) to Paranagua? My other favorite train ride in Brazil. Yes, most of favorite wineries are listed in your tab. But there are others scattered in Rio Grande do Sul away from Vale dos Vinhedos - such as remote Cotipoa, that I mentioned. Definitely worth a Part II on your part ....1 point

@Tartegogo I have made variations of this trip at least half a dozen times with different guys! And can back up @Tomcal 100% in stating have had great experiences there each time. Even though it is only a couple hours away, it most definitely is not the 'next door thing' or 'not exotic enough'! For someone from PA, or even from other more 'sophisticated' capital cities in Brazil - Sao Paulo comes to mind - Gramado/Canela are considered quite high-end destinations for weekend and holiday travel, and deservedly so. I was initially *very* concerned that, having seen some of the pics shown here, that it would be pure kitsch - which (thankfully) could not be further from the truth! So someone you meet there, whether local or out of town, would relish the opportunity. As @badboy points out, and you apparently already understand, you would, like Tom and myself, have developed a rapport/trust with the guy and have tested him in a dinner date(s) situation and overnight(s) first. Different from Tom though, I have preferred overnights over day trips there. And with the right guy (or guys) for a few nights on end, if you are looking for say a romantic getaway. There are some wonderful pousadas (boutique hotels) in Gramado, replete with fireplace for those chilly evenings (it is known to snow there and did once when I was there!) and/or whirlpools in your suite. It also boasts some world-class restaurants. Aside of course from all of the varied attractions during the day that Tom mentions. A wine lover, I would usually start off the trip from PA in a different village altogether in Rio Grande do Sul - Bento Gonçalves, around their Vale de Vinhedos, Brazil's wine country. Once there, take a wine tour (hire a driver so that you and yours can enjoy the tastings!), select the vintages that you like, and take them with you to Gramado. Brazilian wine, overwhelmingly reds, have improved markedly over the years, performing increasingly very well in international competitions. It will come in handy, and save you major reais in pricier Gramado (you can get great pricing from the winery!) for those chilly evenings. There are many other options. Once on a lark, a good friend there and I decided to visit Cotipoa (day trip) as it housed the maker of a favorite wine. The mountainous and scenic route there was half the fun. Whatever you decide, enjoy Rio Grande do Sul....1 point
