  1. My advice is there is never a good reason to arrive later! :-). I mean are there naked guys running around your hotel room? Because if there isn’t then you should be at the sauna where there will be! Getting there early or first means you get first pick! Getting there later means as you are signing in at the front desk someone is taking the guy you think is really hot up to room while you are getting your key for the locker! I have seen this happen a 100 times and listened to the guy complain the rest of the evening! The sauna at 4:30 is still more interesting then your hotel room with you alone in it!

  2. Yet they vote in large majority for people like Mike Pence who would love to destroy my marriage. Every Sunday they give money to a church which would love to make my marriage illegal. Im sorry but my marriage, is the most precious thing I have in my life. Anyone who is a member of an organisation that says that my marriage should not exist can go fuck himself. And people supporting such organisations with their votes or their money are not my friends, not matter how nice they are when you meet them. They are either morons or evil, and I will have respect for neither. I’d rather have the gay bashing, these are only words, which cannot harm me. And at least it isn’t sneaky-behind-the-voting-booth-curtain, while smiling to you when you meet face to face.

    RIP Lurkerspeaks

Would it had been much more appropriate for one to have generated a SEPARATE thread about one's making advance plans for his final arrangements? I think so! Lurker's death has affected us all in some way or another; thus this thread should only have related to him NO responses need to be made here; leave my comments as they are and begin a separate thread from this spot on. This would be most appreciated. I WROTE this for ALL to lend some thought to what I wrote regarding the placement of your comments!

The main things to ease this situation would be 1) have a well documented contact person who knows your plans and your wishes regarding health emergencies or death. Best to have those plans in writing. 2) Transportation of a dead body is a PIA and is very expensive. If you cannot have money put aside to handle these expenses then you might be disposed in the place you died. You should document that you are ok with this to relive your friends/family of any feeling of responsibility or feelings of guilt. 3) Travel insurance is great- but good policies that would cover the cost of the return of a body to another country are pricey. If you buy travel insurance make sure you know what is covered and also make sure that both your emergency contact and the person responsible for making decisions about such things have a copy of the policy. 4) Stay in contact with friends / family and let them know where you are traveling and where you are staying.. I tend to "overshare" especially when traveling on Facebook but my family and friends know where I am. 5) Finally, although it is not always possible or desirable to travel with friends it has it's good points. Especially when traveling to new destinations. If you die - well you will be dead and won't have to worry about any of this! But there are almost always survivors who will have the unwelcome (and usually unwanted) responsibility of taking care of the matters that follow a death.

  7. I would avoid to arrive before 16.30. Probably the best time is 18. After that, for each guy who enters there is one who leaves.

    A Photo?

A nice way to end a Thanksgiving weekend. Here's my final boytoy gift to this thread: my personal collage of Nick Snyder of Sylvania, Ohio. Nick is a superstar, and I find the guy fascinating. The camera loves him, and he loves the camera back. I've never seen a hot guy make love to his cock (and the camera) quite the way that Nick does. And his cock is one heavy mother fucker. I think this guy is mega talented. And wait until you hear his voice (if you haven't already). In certain photos he looks like he's 16-years-old. I don't know when he celebrated his "coming out," but prior to that he managed to produce a beautiful baby boy. He's got family photos all over the internet. We sure live in a different world these days. I could never imagine being this exposed, and all that's good and bad about it. One thing I know for sure, guys like Nick make searching on the internet more fun. https://hungitalianstallion10.tumblr.com/

  16. My apologies, I did not mean to offend board members who live in Kentucky. Like Alabama, I've been to Kentucky on business several times. I have no desire to return. Perhaps I would feel differently had I met some fine gay men there. I, too, know several very good religious people. It would never occur to them to go to a Noah's Ark Theme Park.

  19. I don't know about a rat, since Franken now seems to have a little dog in him. He may not be a Weinstein, but still. Since most men are pigs, I don't think it's fair to lump everyone in the same bag as Weinstein. Reasonable people need to come to their own reasonable conclusion. I'm not a politician, but I'm sure some gay guy throughout my career did not appreciate my tender touch if and whenever that occurred. No one's job was ever in danger with me, but when it comes to horny, we all have moments when we let our cocks do the thinking.

    Peru Getaway

I arrived in Lama land Saturday morning after an overnight flight form Dallas. My Air B&B host in San Miguel had arranged for someone to meet me at the Lima airport. I got to the apartment and checked in, from the contacts that I made via Manhunt prior to coming I knew that the neighborhood was relatively safe and right next to the coast. The apartment was perfect, the guys could just buzz the phone and I would let them right up, this usually happened for repeat visitors since I am using the apps and want to actually see who I am letting into my apartment. My first and only pay guy was a masseuse that I found online who only charged me 60 Sol for an hour massage after that long flight. I spent about 2 weeks in Peru 8 days in Lima and 7 in Cusco. If you are going to Peru for primarily for guys I recommend that you stay in Lima as there is much more variety and the guys are a bit more mixed. I basically had a different guy every day and most were middle class guys who wanted to hook up with an "exotic foreign import" and practice their English. The pay scene definitely exists but, as with any Latin country that is not Brazil or Colombia the fitness level of the guys may not be up to everyone's standards. These guys were mostly athletic looking guys with normal builds. From my experience you will only seen a preponderance of the gym built guys in Brazil or and the cam models of Colombia. Still, I had a great time in Lima. I met a lot of guys and the most I had to do for some of them was an Uber ride and a meal. Several spent the night at my apartment and I even spent an afternoon at the home of one guy in Miraflores who really got my attention. If you are going to travel to Lima for fun and pleasure, I recommend the Miraflores District in Lima. Miraflores appears to be the tourist and the major Upper-Middle Class enclave in the city. The majority of the best stores, clubs and apparently English speaking guys are there! If you want to go out and experience some nightlife you can try the Valve Todo Downtown near Kennedy Park, it is a huge Latin Dance club with a lot of guys to choose from. Also, please visit the Larcomar shopping mall, I hate visiting malls on vacation pero, this one truly was special, built into the cliff you can literally have dinner suspended over the cliff with a breathtaking view of the Pacific ocean. While I was in Peru I always enjoyed a local cocktail called the Pisco Sour, I think I had it with virtually every meal! The El Centro portion of Lima appears very run down when compared to Mexico City but, it has a lot of history and if you are not easily spooked you can walk around outside the main plaza. Most of my guys came from Miraflores and San Miguel but, I wonder if I missed an opportunity to get good guys by not staying closer to the Centro? I really enjoyed my 8 days in Lima, the museums, guys and restaurants were all to my liking. Now Cusco is roughly 11,000 feet above sea level so unless you ski or hike at similar altitudes be prepared to spend at leas 1-2 days acclimatizing. Cusco is also a much smaller city; 300k compared to Lima's 8 million. I did meet one guy who I will only describe as an Inca Prince for fun 2 times. However, you will mostly find fellow tourists and will probably be too tired from lack of oxygen to really let your Mr. Hyde loose. I had a fantastic time in Cusco as well, I met a lot of interesting people, explored the historic city and ventured to Machu Picchu via Peru Rail. However, Cusco is mainly for spiritual experiences or bucket lists. Do not go there with the expectation of meeting a lot of guys; unless you are fine with fellow tourists and there are a few hot ones mixed in with the hippies. I would definitely do Peru again as I travel for cultural tourism as well as meeting great local guys. If anyone has any questions about Lima or Cusco I would be happy to answer them to the best of my limited knowledge. Happy Hunting!

Prepare yourself for some brain numbing reading. The "contracts" are often 30+ pages long, written by lawyers. Usually by page 5, I'm ready to shoot myself in the head to end the misery and save time, money, and the trouble of dealing with one more insurance policy. I decided to do one better. After my parents died, I decided to purchase burial space next to them. I made specific arrangements with the family cemetery and prepaid the contract with written details of my wishes. All my executor has to do is get my ashes to the cemetery, and the cost of that is covered in my insurance policy. I had not thought about dying outside the U.S. before this thread. When I consider how much I travel, my son and I thought that was weird. We now have a revised plan, thanks to this thread.

Thanks @TownsendPLocke for the update. I am very sad for lurkerspeaks, we should all leave after having lived through a good few years of retirement, not before it even starts. But also I couldn’t help thinking about that Thai guy’s probably traumatising experience. While I would love to die fucking, I would never wish any escort to endure this.

    RIP Lurkerspeaks

It's Friday, November 24, 2017 at 11:05A.M. in California. I read the title in the forward and thought it was a joke regarding Lurkerspeak's passing. ...went to www.gaythailand.com to read his previous posts about his first visit to "The Land of Smiles" and discovered that the "RIP..." was indeed real. Although I never had the pleasure of meeting Lurker in person-- I felt akin based on his posts here regarding Brasil and other posts. I am saddened, especially after reading about his anticipated visit to Thailand and the preparations that he had made. His death is oh so, so, so friggin' sad. We never know when or how we are going to leave this earth. Death is a mystery; it's so damn scary, too! May this gentleman rest in eternal peace. He will be missed.

The guys in Bogota are twice as expensive and not half as good looking, It's hard to explain: the conventional wisdom in Columbia is that Bogota is Inca Indian primarily while Medellin is European-Latino but it's more than that. Both cities are more mixed Spanish/Inca. Bogota is a huge city high in the Andes and very well-to-do. Guys don't need money. Medellin is a little smaller and much sunnier and warmer in a deep verdant valley. People are more what we think of as latino and poorer. Guys need cash. Plus it's a big party town like Rio or New Orleans. Bogota is no party town in spite of it's huge gay area. I'm not sure I ever saw anyone smile there. Basically, Medellin is New Orleans and Bogota is Jersey City with a pre-Columbian gold art museum. Medellin is totally safe in all but the northwest part of downtown, west of the cathedral. Most guys have strapping muscular bodies, are bi and are eager. It's just you have to use Club Tobi and referrals from there, Grindr, Chaterbate, etc to get dates. They love hairy guys (to them it's a sign of European-ness). I would invest in a gay guide maybe with connections. Like everything else in Medellin, one would be very inexpensive.

    Fucking All Franken?

http://www.cnn.com/2017/11/20/opinions/al-franken-must-resign-opinion-perry/index.html Franken needs his day in court. To document what he actually did -- and didn't -- do. But this current reveal of harassment is just staggering to me. For 25 years I was boss/manager of many young men and women, all (most ) of whom I physically lusted over. But I kept that impulse, a natural human one, strictly bottled up deep inside. Just inconceivable -- or, rather, not -- how many bosses it turns out now could not do so. I think Franken should resign right now. I am no Pollyanna. The unique politics of the day need it.

@floridarob: 80 Divas was still open it is one of the few places in Lima, that I know of, where a guy can find a decent strip show. They do have quite a few saunas and massage guys in the city. The guys in Lima are really cute and were very willing to please, age wasn't an issue at all. The only drawback as far as this site is concerned is the relative lack of gym bodies when compared to Brazil or Colombia. Still, if you are just traveling for some cultural experience, restaurants and a few good times Lima is definitely a good destination.
