I think you keep missing the point. You seem to have decided this website is not successful anymore. Of course the definition of success is relative, and we have to wonder how success looks like for this kind of website. The target audience is pretty small, we are not into a mainstream trend here. The admins are informing us that there are over 800 visitors daily. I think it is a pretty good number for our niche of the market. I am new here and do not know you. Maybe you have a different nickname in the other site? As I do not know you, I cannot say this with confidence, but I have the impression you are somewhat unsatisfied with this service. I think I read at least a couple of comments from other veterans pointing to the high quality of your past participation in here. Maybe it would be good for the website health to articulate what changed, why you were an active and positive contributor then and why now you are not happy here anymore.

Amen ! There are so many lurkers here. Today I've had several p.m.'s from two members now in Prague asking about guys and having me contact guys to set them up. One has never posted and one has posted twice. Worst, neither will probably post any results. Maybe I should go through the list and pm each asking them to post results. I know numerito goes through this too. Traditionally there have been a half-dozen members in the Prague thread very knowledgeable of the guys who monitored and posted answers fast. It's slacked off a lot recently and I try to keep it lively with updates I learn of. I think I will routinely ask for reports now and go through my pm's asking for them. I do not think the success of the website is being questioned, but the participation in these forums. The traffic seems to be good, there are guys reading and checking the site. They are just silent. The question is how to motivate them to contribute to the community knowledge.

I have had some good times there. Although I much preferred the long gone Campus theater the Nob Hill is in a much nicer (safer) location. I don't know if there are any places to play like this left in the US. You can get a great apartment in Bangkok for less than 1k per month but more likely around 800. Food is cheap depending on what you want or if you cook yourself or want delivery. Tonight I had an omelet with rice for 19 bath and very happy with it. Internet is about 20 USD per month. Electricity is about 80 USD per month. I'd say you could eat very well on 400-600 USD per month. It all depends on your lifestyle and what you want to eat and how much you want to spend on boys and entertainment. I agree with @tassojunior on the immense value of the Prague thread, and thank him for calling me “our eye-on the-ground”. I tried to be as helpful as possible on the bountiful Prague scene, and I contributed to the thread whenever I thought my opinion could be useful or shed some light. I also received many, many PMs on the subject. Like tasso points out, I have recently moved from Prague but I will still try to help. I am also in agreement with tasso on the unique nature of that thread, started by @pauleiroa while ago, and on the usefulness of having similar threads on other cities. But perhaps this is impossible, because Prague is indeed a unique place.

With 732 replies and 62,875 views the Prague thread has many, many multiples of any other escort or city review thread. That tells me it's doing something extremely right and would be a great model. I actually go to Prague more often because of that thread being so invaluable in honestly getting the 411 on the best guys currently in town. Lucky, The forums and the main site are different. At one point today there were 800 unique users on the site. Not on the forums, but on the main part of the site, looking around, etc. If you submit that only 12 are dedicated enough to vote when most don't give a shit what the name is, I think you submission is lacking. That said, we have revamped the site numerous times and it does not increase forum traffic. Tass, Thanks for the suggestions. I have added a forum for meeting online on other sites as well as an additional forum for reviews. I like the idea for changing the title but keeping the name. Thanks. A wiki type of place would be hard to manage. Instead, I added a forum that people can link to other names when they meet someone. This might be a simple way to keep people organized.

I have also noticed an increase in participation. If we knew what motivated that, we could learn from it. One person dominating a forum doesn't encourage others to join in, but if there is only one person wanting to participate, well, he should. As far as success goes, the site has longevity, which is a form of success.
