That is TRUE Lat, but I think perhaps it has to do more with an inner turmoil than an outward expression. An OLDER gentleman with a young Twinky boy still raises eyebrows, just as that "age" dynamic does in the Hetero community. We may think that everyone is modern, hip, open and accepting these days, but that is just not the case. I spend 6 months a year in Bangkok. Yes, I have been priced out of escort scene in the US since I retired . Twilight in Bangkok is still my first choice for places to hang out, and there prices have jumped. But there are plenty of other places in Thailand where prices are still very low. Your right about massage places being the best bargain. Prices for everything go up, Thailand is no different. You can still enjoy an evening of fun for $30-$50.

I wish I was able to pledge allegiance under Obama, but I couldn't. At least I did it in a DC Court, the judge was a naturalized citizen, all the speeches were celebrating an America built by immigrants, one of the speakers had been in the White House team during the 8 years of Obama. Actually, there is a Political forum here, however it is hardly travelled so you would never know. But it is listed on the home page. Not really sure WHY the members dont participate here. Perhaps liking a younger demographic is a bit unsettling to them, and they feel they have to keep a "lower profile" because it may not be as "accepted" in society ? No, I think I was not clear. I do not think the the majority of members on either site like Donald trump the man. I hope most hate him. Lars, I am glad you brought this thread here and am happy it is an active thread. We provide a place for people to chat about anything they wish to chat about. However, to say we lack humanity based on that. People participate differently in different places. However, I can't think of many topics we don't allow and we don't ban people very often. I hope the participation is now low based on lack of humanity. I call the activity of the other site the Trump factor. His fans have one thing in common, they like authoritarians. This site is the opposite. We are the anti-Trump. I still hope there is a place for us as we are not going anywhere.

Unfortunately, this is a normal scene for men of color in South America AND in America proper. It’s not something that white guys by themselves would normally experience or witness, so it may be hard for them to believe it happens so regularly. The “Americano” thing usually works well. In Santo Domingo, an American friend and I (we were both men of color and can be easily mistaken for locals until we open our gringo mouths) were in a car with 4 Dominican men on our way to the big Western Union superstore when three armed cops did a stop and frisk and demanded to look through the entire vehicle. My first instinct was to start talking as gringo-ey as possible, not speaking any Spanish and prominently using words like “American” and “United States”. The cops never laid a hand on either my friend or me, and never searched us. Our Dominican companions said that those kinds of searches are common, and happen almost daily when local young men are in a group. It’s one of the few times I was able to pull out that sort of privilege, since something like this wouldn’t really occur to men of color in the USA — no matter what they sounded like or how they dressed.

KJUN has not posted a single price that is right . In fact it is closer to $12 or more to take a boy ( known as the off fee) On Soi Twilight in BKK the drink prices at GoGo Bars range from $8-14 or more on Chinese Holidays . The shows will still be interesting to a newbie even if not as sexual as they once were. Bottom Line for all the changes it is one of the few places in the world with a street full of Boys with little on and you can take home for anywhere from 1/3- 1/6 of the price in the USA. The apps can be very useful in Pattaya, but not so much in BKK because of the enormity of the city and travel times.

Soi Twilight had a full house last night, so some people enjoy it, myself included. Prices are creeping up but isn't that part of life in general. Not much gets cheaper. FreshBoys, X-Sise, X-Boys still have full fuck shows. Hot Male just did a bit of renovation and are doing some different shows. When I take a boy home tonight it will still cost 25% of what it would cost in most US cities. While I don't totally disagree with you that there has been some changes, there is still lots of fun to be had. I was surprised to see how many Americans are in town this week.
