    What is a garoto?

Nice post... I think a nice clue is how many followers they have. A garoto with 776.000 followers like the first one is likely only replying to offers that are many times worth a "programa"... like a modeling job, clothes offers, a nice travel with expenses $$$ paid... that kind of thing. I don't use instagram to get garotos de programa, but I have a friend that was a sauna boy for a couple of years and now is a somewhat know instagram boy with like 200.000 followers and says he makes his living from there and don't go to saunas anymore. He says he gets a lot of "gifts" from his followers, and many of those are for nothing or very little. My advice... avoid those with a high follower count, they tend to be busier. Or up a lot your proposals.

    What is a garoto?

So I got pulled into instagram by a couple of sexy photos and I have been led down this rabbit hole of very sexy men that look, act and talk very garoto-like but have not responded to any of my direct messages, all of which were polite and not graphic but got the point across. A couple of examples below. Are these guys mostly teases looking to add followers? Cause some of this is NC-17 type stuff. One guy is Brazilian in London, the others in Brazil...useful guidance?

  3. The original question was whether or not language was important for pleasure. I speak Spanish and Portuguese but I don't think language is critical specifically for pleasure. If your mouth is full of fat uncut cock, it you are enjoying a youthful round muscled ass, or doing everything you can not to scream for mommy while your hole is being opened up like a Chinese fortune cookie, you don't need any words that body language, or in a pinch, bing or Google translate can't give you. But some of us crave something more than just the sex. We want a connection, friendship, or romance and frankly this is a lot more difficult to achieve without language or through a translator app; not impossible, but quite challenging. I will also add, if you are careless, as I've been twice, speaking Portuguese won't magically protect you from being robbed or taken advantage of by opportunistic garotos who figure out how to take advantage of you not speaking a lick of English. My two cents anyway.

  4. @snwbrdr015: I totally agree, I've found much better pricing in the open market. Though, utilizing the apps, cabinas and saunas does take a bit more time and carries the potential for slightly more personal risk. The monitored websites are usually good for providing a curated and reliable experience for the time constrained and price insensitive. This is another site that may be helpful https://co.mundosexanuncio.com/ there are guys in Medellin offering companionship for 80k -120k COP; about 25 - 40 USD. P.S. I wonder if there is enough of a market for a service like this for guys. While way overpriced, it could offer a unique curated experience for time constrained individuals who are willing to pay. http://nypost.com/2017/06/22/luxury-resort-offers-spa-days-horseback-riding-and-prostitutes/

  5. A true asshole statement. As are many others in this thread. I am not sure why some cant keep on topic. But, further attempts to bitch fight with each other in this thread will be deleted. I have been to Brazil over 30 times and loved each one. But, I can't speak the language. I can get by in the saunas just fine with a few words. That said, I usually hire a guide to be with me the whole time as it makes my trip easier and negotiations smooth. I don't think you need to speak the language of the place you visit. I have been to 80 countries and most I don't speak the language. But, I do respect the people, their language and I do try to speak the words I learn. Not hard to learn a few works everywhere you travel. For example, activio, passivo, total? Quantos Real? Mucho besos? Even if my pronunciation is wrong, most know what I mean.

    Belo Horizonte

Thanks Demedici and TotallyOz for your advice. I had the opportunity to visit Belo Horizonte for a few days and really like Sauna Olimpo. The sauna is one of the nicest I have visited in Brazil. I was there mid-week with 10-20 boys there each night. I found the atmosphere to be much more relaxed with many of the locals coming in for a social setting, playing cards, having drinks with the boys and the boys being much less aggressive about programas. They have the typical shows and of course, bingo on certain nights. The entrance fee was R$40 (it is R$52 on weekends) and drink prices were much less than in Rio or Sao Paulo. The sauna has a number of free small cabines for use, which they keep clean. Overall, I would recommend a visit to Belo Horizonte for a weekend. Here is a link to the Olimpio website with photos: http://saunaolimpo.com.br/

  7. Mentioned website doesn't provide the best samples around in my opinion. And they are way overpriced. Try https://co.mileroticos.com/escorts-gay/bogota/ instead. Or rely on good old Grindr.

    Belo Horizonte

I'm a big fan of BH. The sauna is big, lots of great guys and some of my most memorable sessions in brasil were in olimpo. I tried one other sauna many years ago but didn't like it and felt no need to return. In terms of things to do, I tended to go out of the city when I could. There are a few landmarks in the city proper but my favorite day trips were to ouro preto, tiradentes, inhotim (a strange modern park dotted throughout with art installations and sculptures). There are also a lot of cachaceras to visit in the area. Do a trip advisor search and you'll find what's hot now. It helps to have a car and driver, or at least a car and gps. I know of a guy, not an escort, who might be interested. PM me if you might need something like this. I can see if he can do it.
