  7. Well when you say it like that, it does sound like something the Russians might get a giggle out of. Does anyone else here have a really bad case of Trump fatigue.

  9. Let's see. Canada, France, Italy, Germany, UK, Belgium, China, Japan. In the Carribean, St Martin, St Barths, Martinique. So basically a homebody. Spectacularly missing from the list is Thailand, which omission shall one day be remedied. In spades!

  10. What you say here ignores what Comey plainly said outright: Everything the Russians did, especially dumping those billions in oil money into the campaign through all those people connected with it now under investigation, was "unusually loud," and "designed to be detected." With the clear intent of visibly degrading and destroying public confidence, here and in Europe and Asia, in American democratic process. To weaken our ability to oppose Russia on the world stage. Comey said the exact opposite of your conclusions here.

  11. I think it all depends of our comfort zone. I have hired from the gay park, the streets, the beach, the saunas and the Internet. I have even hired from the malls. But, I'll usually have someone that speaks the language with me and is able to convert things to a language we both understand. I have been on trips with IHPGuy and he is fluent in Portuguese and is comfortable picking up anywhere. I think so much depends on how much time you have been there and how comfortable you are in these situations.

  12. During the course of planning my trip to Brazil I've discovered a few sites and apps that have saved me money so I thought I'd write a brief guide. Cashback websites These are totally legit, quick to join and simple to use. I've been using them for many years and saved several hundred pounds. If you want to make a purchase of any significance it's always worth a quick check to see if they are present on a cashback site. In the UK they prove particularly valuable for insurance, broadband, mobile phone etc. contracts (returning £100/$125+). They are also good for flights and hotels as well as the likes of Amazon for everyday purchases. Last year a British Airways flight and hotel package to Barcelona was excellent value already and a moment to click through from a cashback site earned me £15 cashback (paid some months later) - not a lot but every little helps! Hotel Booking Services such as Hotels.com will generate 9% cashback going via a cashback site (at time of writing) and the clickthrough can be combined with their 'Stay 10 nights get 1 free' loyalty program(me)! In the UK the two good sites are: https://www.topcashback.co.uk/ and https://www.quidco.com/ In the USA promient sites include: https://www.ebates.com/ , https://www.shopathome.com/ and https://www.couponcactus.com/ It's also very worth a brief google to see if the particular business you're about to make a payment to has a coupon/discount code that you may be able to apply to your booking! Finding cheaper flights Comparison sites such as https://www.skyscanner.net/, https://www.kayak.com/ and http://www.momondo.com can save you hundreds on flights! I particularly like Skyscanner's month view where, if you have some flexibility on your dates of travel, you can see at a glance the cheapest fares over an extended period of time. With these and most comparison sites it sometimes pays to be more specific with your origin and destination if there are several airports in the region. Looking at one-way fares, noting the cheaper dates and combining this with the cheapest one-way fares the other way can produce the best results. Momondo seems to be a more powerful engine however, crunching hundreds of airlines and possible routes. http://www.secretflying.com/ is an excellent site that can help you save up to 80% on flights around the world! I think they get a lot of their information from the legendary http://www.flyertalk.com/ website and they post some ridiculously cheap error fares. You can sing up for emails based on your location in Europe, the USA or other continents but you have to be quick sometimes to get them before they expire. Frequent Flyer rewards are not something I chase too hard and I'm sure most of you are familiar with. In the UK the blog http://www.headforpoints.com is a great resource for maximising flight (and hotel) reward programs. Accomodation As I mentioned above, a cashback site in combination with hotel comparison sites such as https://www.hotels.com/, https://www.booking.com and https://www.trivago.com can deliver some big savings on your accommodation bill. It's always worth having a quick check between these sites as there can be some quite serious differences in price for an individual hotel between the sites. Hotels.com offer a loyalty program whereby every tenth night you book with them rewards a free night - an effective 10% saving. At times, last weekend for example, they run promotions where these rewards are doubled to two nights. I prefer them for this reason. Google for coupons/discount codes too! Airbnb This huge enterprise has been mentioned in the threads frequently and is great for getting a more intimate look at a city and privacy. For the purposes of this site obviously an entire place booking is preferable. The site isn't perfect however. My favoured method of browsing places I might want to stay at in a particular area is to create a wishlist and save any appealing properties to that as you browse. When you've finished scanning an area you can further trim your wishlist to find your perfect place. Make sure you click the '+' button on the map until you are as zoomed in as far as you can go and pull the map a little in as you go! For some reason (and ridiculously), some properties are not visible on the zoomed out map and some will pop in and out of existence as you drag the map in a direction. Airbnb recently increased their sign-up bonus to $40 / £30. This is paid in account credit after you complete your first booking. Also, in the UK at least, if you make your first payment via paypal on airbnb with discount code PAYPAL25 you will save £25/£30! I'm genuinely unsure if you get this bonus if you go straight to their site without using an invitation link, if you use mine - www.airbnb.com or someone else's you definitely get the bonus and I/they get £20/£15. I don't really like it when people use their own referral links on forums so if OZ wants to replace that with their own link that's cool or other members can post theirs to spread the love! If anyone else has any tips or sites they think should be included please let me know and I add it to this post

  13. Great line although i dont think you are "spurring seismic shifts in the economic order"! But made me smile and if we ever meet, drinks are on me! :-)

  14. It amazes me that this is even such a topic STILL. "Should so pay $100R or $120R? Am I getting cheated if I pay a higher amount?" The difference in those rates amounts to about $6 USD! If you are squabbling over $6, and that hurts your pocketbook, then why the fuck are you even traveling to another country? I suggest that instead you keep your broke, cheap ass in the States and go to Branson, MO or Orlando, FL for a nice, normal American vacation with a bunch of fat trailer trash slobs who think that a night at Sizzler is fancy dining, and Taco Bell is exotic.

  15. Axiom i am not sure what your point is? Are you saying Americans should pay more because we earn more money and have higher income? Isn't that one of the reason they have us as customers? We can afford to fly there? You could use the same illogical reasoning regarding excorts here in the US! You make so much more then they do you should pay more! It has been well known that locals in Brazil pay less then what is requested from Tourists! Again i will say pay what you are comfortable with.... but do not try and tell others what they should pay! Again you have not been there in over 6 years and if my memory is right, you did very few guys at that time and he/they were from a escort site not a sauna, which means you paid twice the rate or more of a sauna encounter for the same guy who works in the sauna! I don't think economic policy is your forte! Just saying!

  16. I agree that most garotos might prefer the hotel room environment, however, some tourists and even some locals might prefer a close encounter before committing. I, myself, take into consideration their demeanor, the way they walk, the way they talk, the heavenly masculine and hopefully natural sound of their voice. Yes, you can call me picky! A picture on the screen don't tell me much, have very little use, if any, for the internet. Street trade, is preferable than a screen, but it is too intense, rushed and obviously dangerous. At a sauna you can, at ease, get the cake and eat it too!

"I do have a question regarding the refundable tickets though. Whenever I've had to call and cancel a ticket in the past I've always been told that the ticket could only be transferred to the person's name on the ticket, even the ticket insurance I purchased was useless. Is it different with a refundable ticket?" Not to contradict, Tomcal, but it depends. Most airlines will refund the money (minus a small admin fee) to the creditcard that was used to buy the fare. Some airlines however - one example is Qantas - will only allow the refund to be used by the person named on the original ticket. I'd say that it's best to ensure that you read the conditions for changing or refunding the ticket before you purchase the fare. And I agree with you, Darkseraphim, that this is both an expensive and a fun hobby. It gives me great pleasure to have a handsome muscled model as my companion for however long it lasts. My experience is that when you have good fun together, the model is compliant and eager to meet my needs. What else should an older man spend his money on?

  18. WOW! Bobbalino talk about the pot calling the kettle black! LOL over what is really a simple topic, "how much do you pay to sauna guys or overnights or whatever in Brazil. let me go back about 13 years ago after we had the first "Hooboy Party" at the Atlantico Hotel and had 25 Americans and 80 sauna boys come to it. It was held on the rooftop of the hotel and the members provided all the food and drinks for the guys! Later I heard about a guy who was really overpaying(in my mind) and over the following months continued. I commented about it, saying it would wreck the pricing for the rest of us! (I didn't realize I was such a drama queen then!) Guess what? it didn't! over the years as I have gotten older and less dogmatic about peoples beliefs/practices in relation to mine. I realize everything doesn't revolve around what I believe or think! the guys are a lot smarter then a lot of their customers think! and they talk and gossip about us clients then you would believe! they are happy to point out who overpays, who cums quickly, who is a dick in terms of personality and who the nice guys are...among other things. They know I have a friend that pays almost double what I do and thats' fine as long as they don't expect the same from me and so far none have! Now I never ask what anyone pays and don't care! I pay what I think is the right amount and don't worry about anyone else and again don't forget that a lot depends on your personality! I want to encourage everyone to post their experiences but Bobbalino with all due respect, your reads are tedious at best! I have yet to read a entire post of yours..i tend to skip over the parts where you try to impart your knowledge in less then common English wording! This is not a forum for a course in getting a graduate degree in English Lit! (I do have a grad degree so I kind of know what I am talking about). Write as if you are talking to a friend in your living room not as if you are lecturing! thanks

I enjoy dating handsome muscleboys and models, and sometimes they can be flaky about arrangements. Over the years when I hired, I had this happen to me too. Twice in 12 years with different guys in fact. My remedy, if ever I was unsure about having a successful trip with a hot guy, was to buy flexible or fully refundable tickets. This simple action may cost a little more, but it saves a lot of stress in the long run. I hope that the OP's friend appreciates the narrow escape he's had from what might well have been an expensive and disastrous vacation.
