Hi Guys, This was my second visit in Rio. Fortunately, an English-speaking not-4-pay guy had responded to my profile on one of the websites weeks before I arrived, so I ended up with a nice, intillegent and sexy law student who was friend, guide and sex partner. We're still in touch, and hope to meet again ("don't know where, don't know when"). However, on days he wasn't available I visited the 3 saunas, all during evenings when garotos abound. In all cases I paid R100; when some offered a higher quote, I said 100 and they accepted without further arguement. I didn't try to bid lower. 202 surprised me with its pleasant ambiance; for some reason I remembered reading it was run down. It isn't; actually, the lounge/public space was the best of the three for me, because of ventilation, comfortable seatings and not-loud music. However, I ended up with a guy who promised everything I was looking for but didn't deliver. Less than 5 minutes into the session it turned out that he doesn't deep-kiss and that he wants condoms for oral, both contrary to promises. I ended the programa immediately, went to the front desk and told them I won't pay. The very nice receptionist translated everything for a huge man standing there (who turned out to be either owner or manager or both). He demanded I pay everything; I agreed to pay for the cabin but not the garoto; he insisted; I stood my ground for circa 7 minutes; he threatened to call the police; I didn't budge ("bring them on"); and he relented. I won't return there again. 117: I had very VERY fond memories of the place, but I guess second time is never like the first..... I enjoyed the erections, especially in the wanking room, and accepted plenty of invitations to try them out. However, the well-endowed (which is topmost for me) were also tall hugely muscled (which is a trunoff also because I'm a short guy). I chose an OK garoto, but the programa was less than ok. NMM compensated for the others. The place is of course known for being the least nice of the 3 in terms of infrustructure, but cabins are free and for R20 you can add a fan (which I did). I chose Junior, and he was great - both in bed and in social attitude. In fact, I returned the next day just because he said he'd be there, but apparently I came too early and I couldn't wait. Sorry guys but the rural areas and 'fly-over' country' still loves the guy and Yes they think he is doing what he promised. That includes where I live outside the 2 main cities. What has he done some are asking? Illegal Immigration and the start of deportations, Pipelines, working on a Healthcare plan they think they can afford and hoping for the Expanded Medicaid welfare ride to end, because our state like most others can't afford it since the Feds reduced their share forcing it on state budgets. 500,000 NEW Medicaid insured, the ONLY reason the uninsured rate went down in my state. A steady stream of companies deciding to stay and expand here. A Supreme Court nominee they absolutely love, Expanding the Military etc... This is why people voted for him. You may not like these things but they do. Hillary won the popular vote but look where her winning margin was.... California. She won Cal by 4.3 million...Nationwide by 2.8-2.9 million. http://www.investors.com/politics/commentary/its-official-clintons-popular-vote-win-came-entirely-from-california/ I haven't checked the numbers but I was told her LA County margin alone was more than 2.8 million. Remove California from the equation and Trump had the Popular vote. What does it take for people to realize that if you get off the Damn coast it is a different country and yes, like it or not Trump rules the Heartland....Sorry guys. I personally am just sitting back hoping for the best and trying to give him a chance just like I did Bush and Obama with as open a mind as I can TRY to have. No I don't see a Republican Congress, and a few Red state Dems, voting for impeachment anytime soon.

I think with all the new lighting that they put in for the World Cup/Olympics, which lights up Copacabana beach at night, some of us may have felt a little safer on the beach as the sun goes down. I've heard the stories many times about not going on the beach at night over the years and thought maybe things were a little safer. I was there a few months ago and was continuing to hang out on the beach at dusk with a Brazilian guy feeling relatively safe when one of the vendors came over to us and advised us to leave. He said it was really unsafe to stay on the beach even for a little while at dusk given the robberies that continue to occur. We were fortunately to leave without any incident. Badboy81 thanks for sharing your story to remind everyone.

Tom, so you are getting a "curated experience" I love Latin guys and Mexico is very convenient however, to get the type of guys I like I have to dig a bit harder. So when you were describing literally a dozen gorgeous guys in one place I was shocked. However, it makes perfect sense now. Your new friends have connections and access to high quality guys through the varying modeling agencies in the area. From what I've seen in the states the legitimate modeling agencies don't have to do anything but gather a bunch of gorgeous guys and gals in one place. As you describe it, some, but by no means all, will be interested in making some extra money as most models hardly make anything in terms of cash. Tom, I see what your'e planning you're going to open an agency with a few local partners and enjoy a very pleasant semi-retirement

Thank you for telling this! This has been the same since 2001 when i started going to Rio! NEVER walk on the beach side of the Blvd that separates Copa and Ipanema from the restaurants and condos on the opposite side of the Blvd at dusk or later! I have walked the commercial side opposite the beach at midnight or later 500 times and never had a problem but once my friend wanted to walk the beach side back and he got robbed! I wouldn't do it unless i was in a group of 4 or more!...which i always am now! :-)
