INTRODUCTION: Whenever I travel abroad, I like to visit the well known tourist attractions, sites and enjoy nature. However...one needs relaxing too right. SAFETY: Hearing more and more positive stories on Colombia, recent changes for peace and safety in the country and the stunning beauty of all these Colombian webcam boys, led me to believe that this was the time to check it out myself. I plannend a three week trip to Colombia in which I would visit Bogotá, Medellín and Cathagena. Since I was never in Colombia before, I thought it was a good idea to start of in the popular cities before heading out to the more rural parts of the country. If you read the reports on the internet regarding safety, street crime and violence you get pretty anxious. So was I the forst two days. Afterwards I relaxed more and I can now say: you'll be be all right. It's perfectly safe als long as you go by some basic rules. First: stay in the safe areas (there is enough info on google), don't go to infamous neighborhoods, only take a little cash when you go out and don't wear or carry obvious valuables (e.g. watches, iPhones, jewelry). I always put some emergency money in my shoes for when a pickpocket gets me. When I needed my phone, I used it discrete and I kept it in a hidden pocket. Secondly: don't walk the streets after dark, take a taxi using the different apps. My favorite was Uber: safe, documented and no cash involved. Loved it. Last: be aware of your surroundings, don't leave your drink unattended. Basically these rules should be applied by every visitor in every city in the world I think. Once these rules were in my system, I started to enjoy the place! Besides that I rented my private apartment which gave me a very secure feeling and, subsequently, a place to play when needed :-) SEX (Grindr): Latinos. You heard the stories: great bodies, macho, big dicks and always horny. Trust me...they're all true! These guys are horny all the time and insatiable. First thing we all do in a new place? I love The Week and I go every time that I go to Rio. I do not think that it is the best place to pick up guys though--and even my Brazilian friends don't go there to pick up guys. Most people come with their friends to dance and enjoy the music and to walk around and see who else is there. It is a great people watching place but very loud and hard to carry on a conversation. Even if you can chat with someone for a bit there is so much distraction they rapidly move on. Most locals who come don't want to leave much before 6am or later so that is also a factor. It may have been closed for drugs recently but I doubt that changed much and carrying on a conversation with someone who is high is next to impossible. Still--go for sure if you like big, classy clubs with good music!

PART III CASUAL STREET TRADE. So if one is done wondering around in a new town and visiting the main sites, what's next? Exactly, just sit down, watch the street life passing by and enjoy the occasional eye candy. It was exactly this what I was doing after a nice walking tour in down town Medellin one afternoon (the free walking tour is recommended! Simply check TripAdvisor for details). I was staying in the Poblado area since I was a novice to Medellin; this is a very laid back and secure option. So Parque Poblado was my hangout so to say. A small park with nice trees that provide the necessary shade. There are public benches scattered throughout the park. A few of them overlook the intersection and church entrance which made it the perfect place fore people watching. Several benches were occupied, but on this one bench only one guy was sitting. He was skinny college guy, around twenty years old, playing with his phone. His rucksack stood next to him and out of politeness he moved it a little closer next to himself in order to create more space on the bench. He gave me a shy, roguish smile as I sat down. But I don't regret, he agrees without hesitation, the little slut. My AirBnb is close by and has a private entrance. Love it this way. It's only a 3 mins. walk. The sauna boys go where the money is....if they can make more money at a certain sauna, that is where they are going to go especially since they all have to pay an entrance fee... The last time I was at Pointe, there weren't very many guys there at all and the time before that I did see a Black Brazilian working in the sauna... 117, the few black guys who I have seen in there are extremely well know because they are all, with the exception of maybe one with a huge dick and just regular looking, extremely good looking...Like model looks and amazing bodies...There are two that are consistently in 117 that are BEAUTIFUL...By Brazilian and American and European and just about everybody elses standards

You are right Tom, no government agency would be concerned about diversity at saunas, but I consistently observed the establishment with bigger proportion of blacks is Meio Mundo, followed by 117 and then Point, also twinks are predominant at Meio Mundo, Buffy types at 117 that is also some mature men there doing programas, just a few to be sure, but there are hardly any elsewhere and finally whites/light skinned at Point, since the owners have no saying, garotos certainly know their turf!

My experience: Wednesday has been good at Point for quite awhile. Reason: is a free suite night, several weeks ago I wrote here about how surprised I was when I realized that were 3 or 4 guys that caught my eye, which is a better average that my picky self gets in any sauna in Rio, where in the past I have left empty handed in all of them. Important: I'm not making a statement that Point is the best sauna in Rio, which is not the case, but chances are they have the best Wednesday in town. A critique: they have the best designed steam room of all, why is always so stupidly hot that nobody can stand more than 2 minutes? An observation: hardly any blacks or dark skinned garotos. How Junior gets away with this?

My Opinion....And not pissibly...SMile Monday-Meo Mundo 117-Sunday thru Saturday Pointe is HIT or MISS depending on what is going on...Wednesday is good but 117 is consistently good
