Is anyone watching the Emerald City TV Show? It is a modern take on the Wizard of Oz. It is a bit weird for me to watch. It is like the took the story over to the dark side of things. I did like the rainbow in the window of Aunt Em's house and the monkey statue as part of the navigation system of the city. The Wizard apparently banned magic in the kingdom. The Yellow Brick Road is made of poppy. So, there are many familiar things to the story. I didn't quite get the boy who turned into a girl (please explain if you know what is going on in that theme). Overall, it was nice to see a story about Oz even if a different story than I like. However, Oz still is great and powerful and that is a good thing!

Sao Paulo is one of my favorite cities and I think well worth a visit for sure. I have always found guys in sauna with chest hair. Most are smooth but many do have hair. Quick story: I met a twink from Brazil I feel in love with. I took him to Paris for 10 days and he showed up with full hair on chest, legs, etc. I could not believe it as it was not what I had seen and a real turn off for me. Before he went to bed he went to the pharmacy and got some Nair and removed it all. We spent some fun times together but I never even thought he was that hairy.

For what its' worth, I only have had one sauna boy not let me take his photo in the 16 years I have been going and maybe 20 - 25 not let me take a nude photo!(this is out of quite a few guys!) I Think whether you get a photo has a lot more to do with your approach and how you ask!

More a lurker on this site than a regular participant but I always enjoy the contributions of others. I will be visiting Rio (first time on my own) from February 14-21. Like trzinko, I would love to hear from anyone who may be in the city at the same time and may want to meet up for coffee (or just traveling to a sauna together for extra safety and company!) I did also have two specific questions that probably have been discussed previously but I thought I would throw them out and see if I get some more current feedback. Others here seem rather down on Pointe 202 (compared to club 117 or meio mundo). But, it is so convenient to my hotel in Copa!!! Just wondered if the more experienced her recommend skipping 202 altogether (or if a specific day of the week is better for a visit). My second question is VERY broad but I love reading what others have to say. I have visited Thermas Sauna in Barcelona 20+ times and I have always had positive experiences. For those who have visited both Thermas and saunas in Rio, what would you say were the biggest differences in your experiences between the two (especially in how you approach/interact with the boys). I appreciate any feedback and love hearing different perspectives. I would also be happy to report on anything of interest to others who may be planning a visit after February (especially from the perspective of a relatively "newbie")
