  1. I agree!! But foolhardy IMO, until someone has experience with the people, scene, and dangers(boa noite cinderilla) of the area they are in. It was probably my 20th or 25th trip there before i started looking beyond the saunas! But i am a slow learner!

  2. No, someone you meet on the street is different and they are not paying admission to the sauna or having to stay there a min of 3 hours, take the metro to get there, etc. i would not, IMHO, worry or attempt to pick up guys outside the sauna scene, until you have more experience in Brazil. I recounted back some years ago on here 2 acquaintances of mine from LA who did not take my advise in this regard and lets just say they did not have a good tine in Rio!

  3. Monday night was always good in the past. Many boys. Wide choice. I am at NMM. It is monday 7 pm when I arrived with friends. Few boys. Totally worn out. Some big dick on show but on ugly old guys. Mostly black guys. Not a single boy I would think of taking to a (filthy) cabin. Now they charge 57 R$ for entrance to this shitty place. Certainly my last visit to this place. I have never been an aficionado of the place but now I am a strong opponent. I am nor that desperate to take an ugly boy to a filthy cabin with plastic sheets. Of course the sauna is as filthy as usual with only one shower for tens of customers and boys. 117 on the contrary is just as usual. Clean, with a variety of boys. Worth the 57 R$ you pay for entrance. Tomorrow is free cabin night. I will go there no doubt. NEVER AGAIN TO MEIO MUNDO !!

  4. The title refers to a Fred Astaire quote on the Nicholas Brothers performance of Stormy Weather, filmed lived around 1943. The Nicholas Brothers are new to me, so when I saw that quote I had to see if it was on YouTube, and sure enough, it is. I am the last person to proclaim a "greatest dance" about any dance, so watch it for yourself and see it it pleases you as it did me, and countless others: More on the Nicholas brothers: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nicholas_Brothers

  5. Interesting.....I have had various amounts quoted to me since I have been going to the saunas and have been anywhere from $70R to the most I think $150 for somebody I had to have..... I have even had some freebies now and again... I will be trying that process of NOT asking and just giving the going rate.... Hopefully that wont get me beat up Tomcal....

  6. yes, we all agree that safety issue is much better in saunas. however, it is so exiting to pick up a boy somewhere else.... 36 days to go.... my fourth brazilian trip

  7. In the sauna regardless of who you are, how goodlooking you are m, how young you are, if you go up with a "working boy" you are expected to pay him! I give them the $100. R after we are done. I do not tip but they know if they are good the chances are good they will make a lot more money in the following days/trips! Again this is after you have been to the saunas a few times! Remember the guys in the saunas talk more about us then we do about them! A lot more! :-)

  8. The last time I was there was last December and I had an amazing time...there was a ton of variety and I like the maze setup.... I have heard that Monday is the best and busiest night there and since it was far from Copa, I was glad to only go there on Monday... Sounds like I wont miss much this upcoming trip bypassing it and sticking to 117....I may go by Pointe since I have not been there since March of this year...
