That's where Costco comes in handy. The power greens are in one bag, carrots in another, tomatoes in a box, and each is about four bucks. The combo lasts about two weeks, which is as often as I go to Costco. Even then, as you say, you can start to feel like a greengrocer. Glad to hear that the energy boost wasn't just a figment of my imagination. I look forward to trying some of your enhancements. Come here, Parsley-breath!

    What's up?

After several years of dwindling drive, I was surprised to find a reliable resurgence of randiness with not a single new pill added to the arsenal. As someone who hates spending more than ten minutes a day cooking for myself, it had long been a nagging concern that I was not getting very good nutrition, let alone the recommended three servings a day of veggies and two servings of fruit that I knew I should be getting. It finally occurred to me that a power blender might be the answer as, within five minutes, I could create a smoothie that would give me everything the FDA wanted me to have. So I got this blender: Every day, I started throwing in a big fistful of power greens (spinach, kale, chard), another fistful of baby carrots, a tomato, a handful of frozen berries, a scoop of high-quality protein powder, and enough water to make a shake-like consistency. Hitting the “smoothie” button produced, in less than a minute, a decent-tasting drink that took care of all the nutritional good stuff that had been missing from my diet. I then felt free to eat whatever else I felt like during the day, knowing that the basics were taken care of. I got everything I needed at Costco: blender, veggies, fruit, and protein powder. To my surprise, my sex drive returned, along with just enough priapism to make it actionable. After several months, owing to a hiatus from Costco, I stopped the daily drink and away went the sex drive. Back to Costco, and back came the sex drive. I’ve since done it enough times to know that, for me, this nutritional boost is a reliable way to get the nether regions working almost as in days of yore. I don’t know if it’s the fruit and veggies, the protein, or all of the above that make the difference, as I always throw everything in together. But I do know the combo delivers reliable results. I also get a general boost of energy with this blend, which started out being mildly irritating as I now have no excuse for not doing the things I don’t feel like doing. Worth noting that, unlike a juicer, the power blender retains all the fiber. My glucose numbers go down when I'm on this regimen, and my doctor told me that fiber is most likely the reason why. Anyhoo, wanted to share this experience with folks who have likewise been meaning to improve their nutrition and were looking for an easy way to do it.

Thanks for the info on Costco. Unfortunately the Costco here is two freeway exits away, and I won't make the trip, but Trader Joe's just opened a new store around the corner, and I've always been a big fan. I know I dropped the ball on my diet and i'm anxious to get things rolling again...all the best

Oy vey is the truth. You can lead a Queen to the 2nd Floor Shoe Department at Bergdorf's, but you can't force her to buy a pair of Gianvito Rossi's. Sometimes you throw a dog a bone and he spits it back at you. At least I tried.

You gave him the attention he seeks, and you deserve the outcome. The rest of us will suffer, too. Thanks for nothing.

  21. Having better things to do is all well and good, but at least you had the honesty to admit that in the "past" you enjoyed "furthering" a controversy. IMO, news about escorts is relevant to all customers. The hate-filled troll(s) among us may feed on the "furthering," but the rest of us should be able to discuss these issues maturely and productively. Are we not a group of elderly men with plenty of wisdom to share with young male escorts? With the going rate of $300-an-hour, fame, beauty, and fortune come with tremendous responsibility that few can handle in a financially productive manner. A talented escort can certainly benefit from a smart, guiding hand. Having the name "Daddy" isn't enough. Unlike with actors, escorting doesn't provide enough income to support the manager/agent mentor relationship business model. Many of these guys need our help, and sites like these provide room for productive learning. I had never heard of this Sire website before - my life isn't ALL ABOUT porn - but at first glance it seems legit. The comment section of this article was also interesting, where Tristan Baldwin felt the need to chime in "At the risk of having any/all of this negativity directed at me." Between drugs and an inflated hyper-gay attitude, and now the charge and evidence of racism, one gets the impression that Killian James is one fucked-up mess, and of course I'm sorry to hear this. Every escort who cares about an income-producing-career should do whatever it takes to protect his brand. If you engage with drugs, eventually you will fail by doing something really STUPID. I've know many drug addicts/users in my career. A few can reach a peak while using, but they all come crashing down at some point. It's just a matter of time. Racism is another story, and for me, it's personal. I grew up with a racist father, and as a young boy, I had Black friends I met in private school. My father and I had very heated arguments on the subject, and I have life-long scars from those ugly encounters. My dad eventually changed and came around, thank God, but so many people don't and remain UGLY, dressed in unwarranted HATE. Hate that the gay community knows all to well. Given our own special gay history with bullies and bigotry, it's difficult for me to fathom a gay racist. Is it really possible to have no sense of self within our own history? I can understand a man not being sexually attracted to darker colored skin. But that's not racism. I can't get turned on by watching Black women have sex. The visual of Black pussy just doesn't arouse me. Racism is outrageously UGLY, in all its forms, and it should NEVER be tolerated under any circumstances. If you are a white, racist escort: KEEP YOUR FUCKING MOUTH SHUT or I'll shut it for you! When I was active on the "other site that dare not be mentioned," I had enjoyable exchanges with Killian James. He seemed sweet, smart, charming, and fun to be around. But you never really know someone until you work, sleep, drink, and do drugs with the guy. If Killian James in fact wrote those emails to JD, James deserves his sorry fate. I will never hire JD or read every word of his rambling without reaching for Tylenol, but I'm not inclined to believe that every word out of JD's mouth is a lie. If 10% of what he says is true, we have a serious problem with a few escorts we've grown to admire. It's important we don't judge a book by its cover, but without a site like this, how does anyone get to the truth?

Thanks for the motivation Lookin. I bought this little beauty about a year ago (yes I fell for the infomercial. Like yourself I noticed an immediate boost of energy and sex drive (wink wink). The little dancer boys went crazy, and now, well now I'm a freakin legend. But lately I've been off my game. I have a short attention span, and yes, feeding this beast meant being constantly vigilant every time I went shopping. It was a never ending supply of veggies. I eventually lost interest, and Domino's was on speed dial. As of today, it is collecting dust on the kitchen counter..BUT BUT BUT I am suddenly motivated by your post, so I'm going to dust it off and see if the motor will fire up. I just added spinach, kale, carrots, chard, beets (yuck) apples (see Gman's thread on Daddy's) and parsley to my Trader Joe's shopping list. You have to be carefull with parsley. Wonderful addition to the blender but a small amount will over power anything else you add to it. I think I can already feel a little tingle coming on down there.

    I am Back Here!

Guys, after a 6 month or so break from here I have decided to start posting again. I couldn't get tomcal back so now I am tomcall, First to clear up a misconception, when I stopped posting early this year, it was not because I was upset but rather 1) I had to force myself to get out of a rut of checking this site every day first thing in the morning so the first thing I did was take the link off my computer so I wouldn't be tempted! as I know I don't have strong will power! lol and 2) I also realized I posted a lot of repetitive information and felt I ran out of new things to "talk about"!(I also had brain surgery but that's a whole nother story!) Yesterday I took a look, saw some new names among forum members and also saw a post from several months ago and in it MsGuy mentioned how he missed my posts about Brazil as he lived vicariously thru them as he wouldn't be visiting Brazil. While there are a number of guys on the site I have met in person and several I consider good friends, there are a number of guys I have never had the privilege of meeting in person but thru the forum consider them friends! I am going back in October for my 4th trip this year and will write about those trips later. I also made a trip to Mexico and had a great time! reports will follow! I also against all sound reasoning and the arguments against it, which I have been the biggest proponent, have kinda fallen in love with a Brazilian! :-)

    Why Porto Alegre?

I visited Porto Alegre once, back in 2011. My advice is if you are curious about PA and have a couple of extra days to make a visit, then go ahead and visit to satisfy your curiosity. Domestic flights and accommodations in PA were cheap, so it's a small price to pay to experience for yourself what the sauna scene is like. Like the OP, I was curious because PA was often mentioned as a great alternative/addition to visit for saunas along with Rio and SP, where I had been many times. I spent three nights in PA, from a Friday - Sunday. I'm not sure if things have changed, but at the time the general advice on the forum was to visit over a weekend. I only visited Mezzaninu, and I visited each night I was there. Keeping in mind that my visit was five years ago, my impression was that perhaps due to few foreign visitors at this sauna at the time, the garotos had a tendency to gravitate toward the locals. There was a noticeable familiarity between the garotos and locals, the working guys were usually seated for hours with a local at a table, where they would talk, have drinks and snacks, kiss, rub each other's crotches, etc. I don't think I observed any visits to a cabine though. However, with 30+ guys working it wasn't difficult to find willing garotos to have a programma with, it just seemed like the best looking guys were sitting with a local. This was the case on the Friday night; the Saturday night seemed to have fewer clients and garotos overall. On Sunday, the place was packed again and I remember that night being quite festive, there was a soccer game going on the monitors and lots of cheering and gesticulating. The guys were less aggressive than in Rio or SP, I usually had to initiate contact with the guys versus being chased after. I had five great programmas and one lackluster programma, which was with a garoto visiting from SP (he was gorgeous though!). The guys were quite good looking overall, with a mix of skin tones but a higher proportion of light skinned guys compared to the guys in a Rio sauna. I remember one of my programmas being Polish, another Ukrainian, another German, which was rare to encounter in Rio. Like the OP I prefer the classic Latin/moreno look but variety is nice sometimes. For a city of its size, I thought the garoto lineup was pretty good, but not necessarily better than in the Rio or SP saunas. All this being said, I'm glad I visited but I didn't feel that my experience would compel me to visit again. I thought the city was pretty dull. I stayed in the Moinhos de Vento area, which I thought was a pleasant neighborhood. I think the city would be a great place to live if you're a Brazilian, it felt safer and cleaner than SP and Rio. But the city didn't have much for visitors IMHO. Each day I was waiting for it to be 5:30 p.m. so I could head to the sauna. Plus you had to take a taxi to get to the sauna, which wasn't always easy to hail in the later afternoon/early evening hours. I prefer taking the metro like in SP or Rio. I felt like getting around in PA was less convenient. But there are many people who enjoy PA and make it a part of their visits to Brazil, so it may be worth making at least one visit to see for yourself.

    Why Porto Alegre?

My experience in 3 visits to Porto Alegre is that the sauna guys are hot. Last visit I picked up a fellow who gave me such joy that I paid him double. Besides being gorgeous, muscular, and light-browned, he knew exactly what to do and he did it so well, without watching a clock, that I would really consider him the best sex I have had in Porto Alegre. When we were done, he showered first, came out stroking his dick, letting me know he wasn't tired, and we went at it again. Now tell me that the color of his skin would make a difference? Others have pointed out the nice hotels at cheap rates, which are in a neighborhood of good restaurants. PA also has a hustler bar which tends to be a bit blue collar, but the guys are friendly and fun. There are rooms available in the bar, or you can do take out.

    Why Porto Alegre?

If you're into white or white-looking guys, Porto Alegre is going to have far more of them, since it's in the Southern region, where the Germans, Italians and Polish ended up.

    Why Porto Alegre?

Lurker is correct. The boys are often very light and since many are of German decent, many blond and blue. I also think it is mentioned so much as the sauna is amazing. It was built to be a sauna and it is very easy to use and do everything inside. A nice big open area for meeting and greeting and nice rooms upstairs. Personally, I like it as it is a bit cheaper than Rio or Sao Paulo and I have booked the Sheraton for 125 a night several times. To me, that is a great deal. Lastly, I love the restaurants and the ease of walking around outside my hotel to find things.
