I just got back from my first trip to Colombia and it was a fantastic experience! I booked a private apartment in the Boston area of Medellin through Airbnb. My Spanish is minimal and I planned to see a lot of museums if I couldn't get enough sex I would still have a great time. I agree with a lot of the other posters here. It may be a little more work but, there are lots of young guys who will accompany you for expenses only if you are willing to spend the time on Manhunt and Grindr. If you are interested in quick sex with hot young guys there is a lot of that available as well, for a price of course. In one day I had a companion leave in the morning, a money boy at noon and another companion for the evening. Now there are older guys who will pay their own way but, if you are looking for the young hot guys you are expected to at a minimum cover their expenses. A lot of the young guys on the apps are college students from varying degrees of middle class status. Most just wanted to come over and have fun, minus taxi fare of course. My 5 days in Medellin were a blast, when I go back I will definitely have more fun. Bogota was even more fun, from my experience. The guys there were willing to come to my place for free and were just excited to have someone to practice English with. I was with a new guy every day and these young guys were happy to please me just for the experience. I did give all of them a gift of some sort afterwards but, it was not at all expected. The apartment I booked on Airbnb again was perfect for bringing guys over. The country was amazing and the great guys just made my vacation better. The money boys are really affordable. The prices range from 35 - 100 Colombian Peso depending on what you want to do. If you gift a guy more than 100 pesos you are being much more than generous. Now that I've gotten the travel bug, can anyone provide information about Peru or Ecuador?

Thank you ALL for your replies, I am happy that your non-participation has to do with technological problems and NOT anything personal in your lives... Would hate to lose any one of you. YES, I too have experienced log-in problem, but after several combinations of diff log-in sequences, I found one that Worked for me, albeit a lenghty process. Also, the posting of the pic galleries for me now takes twice as long (and its was a long process to start with) , but I had gotten several messages that guys liked and missed the pics, so i am trying to accommodate.... (although I dont ALWAYS post twinks, sometimes the gallerys are Self-serving. You know Grandma likes muscle with Big cock) LOL. Anyway I know Oz reads the threads so perhaps he will take heed and fix the issues? But dont give up guys. We are a community here, and need EVERY member to participate to really have Fun..... I have the same problems as Numerito. There are several severe pathologies in the forum upgrade: Despite clearing cookies and history repeatedly in FireFox (Win8) I still cannot log in at all from my laptop. And on my iPhone 5C, the typing has a bizarre sluggish lag that makes posting a painful procedure. And I have the same login issues as Numerito described. I love Oz and his techs but this forum version has demons in it that make it unprecedentedly difficult to participate.

I have no problems logging on but not sure I like the text and content of threads only covering about half of the actual page. Why not use the full page as in the past?

Thanks for asking, Suckrates. Logging in has become a cumbersome procedure for me since the "upgrade". It takes several tries before the main page loads (many error messages) and, when --or if-- it finally does, the message center page takes forever to appear. Once I am there, I have to supply my credentials several times before the system finally recognizes me, and I am not even sure then that I am getting the latest page. It is like pulling teeth. I have therefore reduced my visits and my posts. It is frustrating: I find useful information in the European section, where I also contribute, and I enjoy the pics you post, Suckie, thanks. I need my "fix", but it is getting increasingly difficult to get...Everything worked perfectly before. I posted a message on this in the appropriate section of the board. BTW, I don't like the new "slow typing" system. Maybe it only happens to me: the characters I type do not "print" immediately, but intermittently. I do not find it cool.

Thank you for the link to the article, ihpguy. I read it. Ugh, such a chaotic but pivotal time for Brazil and Rio. Let's all hope this transitions to better times.
