Yeah, I'm thinking a gay guy who knows no Portuguese and hates sauna culture is going to have an awful lot of moments of uncomfortable silence during a 90-day stay in Brazil.

No you are not! You showed up as a member and poster a couple of weeks ago and have professed to be an expert on everything. Yet with all your expertise , you managed to get yourself attacked something 99% of the members here have been able to avoid because of information given here. Maybe you should read a little more before your trips and post less with your limited knowledge.

Personally, I am a little skeptical about Scott's tale about being assaulted outside a nightclub near Lagoa. First, he trash-talked Lagoa because he didn't find the odd sex that he wanted. Then he says he was assaulted while leaving a relatively safe and busy neighborhood. Now he is complaining about saunas being all about guys wanting your money (yet he plans to return to Brazil for a 90-day stay).I know the area around Lagoa and the brief walk to the closest Metro. The area is relatively safe and very well-traveled with both car and foot traffic. I think he either may have concocted the story of his assault and robbery near Lagoa because he is a little bitter that he was not successful at hooking up with the kinds of garotos he prefers and the sort of sexual arrangements he likes there, and wanted to trash-talk the place. Or he may have approached the wrong person in a cruisy, dicey situation (he did state that he was into doing that before, even though he doesn't know how to communicate in Portuguese).

First you complain that the sauna garotos' smiles and chit-chat with clients are all fake and just for money. Now you complain that a garoto looked too bored at a restaurant with an older man who may or may have not been a client. There's just no winning with you.

The hustler bar you mentioned is now closed. About 10 years ago, the bar was the "in place" for hustlers in Zurich. The name of the bar was Carousel Bar. Sadly, over time, the mix of hustlers changed to almost all Romanians plus skinny feminine hustlers from Thailand. Prior to the "anschluss" of the rip off Romanians, the hustler mix was Brazilians and Europeans. The Brazilians and Europeans were just out for a good time and to make some money while doing so. With the increase in the number of Romanians in the bar, the increase in clients being ripped off increased. Word got out about the Romanians ripping off so many clients. Eventually, clients stopped going to the bar. Without customers, a place cannot survive. Hence, the demise of Carousel Bar. I believe some clarification is necessáry regading my recent posts: I was trying to let somebody that seems unfamiliar to Brazilian saunas that the gorgeous guys seen in pictures are very unlikely to Walk around stark naked with a hard-on and even the guys that do it would never agree to a blow Job in plain view. Some people that has never been to Brazil fantasyzes is a place where everything goes and is not exactly, some stuff is just unnaceptable. Regarding the atractiveness of sleaze boys, if they look attractive to you it's all that matters, who cares what the majority thinks? The important thing is getting the one you expect will give you a good time. Regarding the sleaziness depending on each one fantasy, that's exactly the Point, right? So if is your case just get the public wanker, Take him to a suite and have a ball, nothing wrong with it. Regarding boys wearing a brief I totally agree, they most likely have a small Dick, although they are not necesserally snotty, in many cases they know their dicks are not their main selling point and they try to avoid nixing a deal right up front. In my case if I don't see it even in a quick flash is a total deal breaker, I don't care how attractive the guy is. I believe the customer is entitled to see the product he is paying for. Regarding the chit-chat for me is totally part of the experience. The sound of the voice of the guy I fancy is the sound of heaven.
