I have only one right now in Thailand. He is in the living room with me as it is 9AM. The other one is still in asleep in bed.

Unfortunately, the other thread became a shouting match. Some associate gay with drama queen, I am glad that only applies to a small percentage of us. Keep calm, people. We are here to share information and tips, stop criticizing and judging others. Thanks to tomcal for your advice. I think I need to be more confident and commanding in my interactions with boys. The best way to cure empty pillow syndrome is to get out of bed :-) rio is such a beautiful city, it's hard to stay sad for long. Just go to the beach! Had a great afternoon on copacabana with fellow forum member Epi. He has a several months research appointments in Rio and rented a nice apartment nearby. Wonderful views of the ocean from his apartment. We went to his favorite section on copacabana, where the well built barraca (umbrella and drinks stand) owner smiles at Epi in the way that clearly shows they have shared more than drinks and kisses :-) it's not a gay section, but still plenty eye candies around. In the last hour we were there, a gorgeous young man came to join his older brother and what looks like his brother's girlfriend. He looks like some ancient Greek or Italian sculptures of the young, innocent looking boy you would see in Louve or Vatican museums . Epi thinks he is probably just 16, about 5-10 or 5-11, slim, well defined body, no bulging muscles yet, gorgeous smile. Too bad the sun has come down quite a bit, a large section of the beach is in the shades where he plays ball with his brother, so the pictures I took with my iPod all came out too dark :-( Epi recommended we go watching the sunset in ipanema. Looks like the most beautiful people all gather at aparador for the same reason. A lot of young lovers, a lot of hot guys came in their beach shorts or speedos, I felt I was overdosing on eye candies:-) sun set around 7:30, the most beautiful sunset I have ever seen! Applause erupts as the gorgeous red sun sank below the water. Perfeito! We went to have dinner and of course one of the waiters again is "gostoso"! Rio is simply over populated with beautiful boys :-) As we walk around a little after dinner, Epi showed me his beautiful, peaceful neighborhood and some photos of his many young lovers, many of them simply love the older, hairy, established professional type, no money involved. You sure is a lucky man, Epi! It's close to 10pm as I got back to my hotel. My sadness earlier is all gone after a wonderful afternoon and evening. A great day in the " cidade maravilhosa " cures all!

One, or two for OZ, special boy makes the trip. Can't agree more. This is the first time I came to Brazil without long excursions, just for saunas. 9 fucks in 9 days are pleasantly exhausting :-) How I love Brazil for this. Plus the nice beaches and great hiking trails. If I win lottery, will be moving here right away! As God wishes, Sunday is for resting. Even today, the last Monday in Rio, I was not really horny. My rio trip peaked Friday morning after the overnight with Jose. But it would be a nice opportunity to say goodbye to Epi in person, and I planned my last night in Rio on a Monday to check out MM. For a Monday night, it's rather quiet as I got in around 5:30. Jacson was there, I love his face, but his body is not in a better shape from last year. So no immediate repeat. Walked up to the second floor, sat down to relax a little, look who is here, ihpguy after his gym session. We chat and boy watching. A couple new faces today, but no one I really fancy. The cute top only white twink is still the best looking boy. He has a baby face, Ihpguy says he is too young looking for him, he would have felt he is raping him :-) Then Epi showed up, we all sat down and chat for quite a bit. Not many distractions as it's really a rather quiet night here. After Jose and seeing what's on offer at 117, except for that baby faced top twink, the boys here tonight just don't trigger my fancy. Both ihpguy and Epi has backup plans if they don't score in sauna, they left at 7 and 7:30. there is a skinny white twink that I could go with if this is the earlier days of my trip. He came over to say hello, I like his smile, but his breath is not fresh, so I decided to call it a night. 8pm, still not very dark yet. There was a boy, about 6ft, athletic built, better looking than anyone inside standing by the building right outside MM. We made eye contact and he nodded his head. I gave him a goodbye wave and walked away. If I speak Portuguese or if he was here before I checked in, I might go for it. Even metro is rather empty. Ihpguy said probably a lot of people already left for holiday breaks. Am I glad I caught up with Jose before he flew away for vacation on Saturday! I am leaving Rio a happy visitor :-) São Paulo tomorrow. After a two nights break, I am looking forward to seeing what's on offering there.

If I was staying in a hotel, I wouldn't stay for 3 months. Having the apartment is just like living at home. Ive made a lot of friends and have a boy that stays with me when I'm there. Here in Ft.Lauderdale I'm quietly retired. In Bangkok I'm busy retired. When I did my first 30 day trip, I started thinking I was staying a couple of weeks to long. Then I made a point of getting out and doing a little more exploring and filing my days. There is no problem filling the nights When the month was up, I was ready to stay longer. I've flown over 5 times this year. That's a lot of wear and tear on the ass. So I'm thinking of 2, 3 month trips. We will see how that goes. I've been home for 3 days now and I'm already looking at airfares.

The Museu do Amanha opens today to the public (for free) for thrity-six hours starting this morning. After Sunday, the entry fee will be a reasonable 10Reais. There is also a museum pass including the MAR art museum, also located on the Praca Maua with a discounted entry. Designed by Santiago Calatrava, the final published cost is actually three times the quoted price in the linked THE GUARDIAN article. 650million Reais versus the 230million quoted. Knowing how things to work, I suspect final price will be even higher. Calatrava's supposed inspiration is a bromeliad. To me, either the back of an alligator, scales of a snake or the long and thick dick of one of the hung garotos de programa at Meio Mundo. But I have been by the Praca Maua in the last two months and the area has never looked better. The whole area is very cool as a large plaza closed to all vehicular traffic except for the new VLT tram line. Between the two museums, as well as the Banco do Brasil and Correios Cultural Centers a couple of blocks away, it does make a nice way to spend the day before heading over to Meio Mundo.
