Travelers - TSA - "signs" you might be a terrorist

I paid the $85 fee and got TSA Pre-Check. Don't have any problems at the airports. Well worth the money.3 points -
I just returned from a pleasant visit to Sauna Fox and would like to share. Planetario 11, the other, larger garoto sauna in Salvador is like a San Francisco Bathhouse that also has rentboys. Sauna Fox, by comparison, is like the clubhouse of a suburban golf club that also has rentboys. The Facility: Sauna Fox is nicer, brighter and better maintained. Imagine a large one story ranch house, with a tented patio and surrounded by a high wall. You enter through the bar/restaurant, where decent drinks and clubhouse type food are available. There is just one locker room where clients and the guys all dress. There are legit massage tables and rooms. As you go deeper into the building, its real purpose becomes more apparent. There is a large communal shower ( with hot water unlike at P11) and stairs leading up to rooms with screens playing porn. Apparently the cabins are free. The Clients: Older, whiter and seemingly richer than at P11. The median age tonight had to be 60 with the typical client looking like he had just dropped off the grandkids. At P11, the locals were 30 and 40-somethings out to have a guaranteed good time. I may have been the only foreigner in the Fox building and was one of only 3 Black clients. Everyone seemed to know one another and greeted each arriving client cordially. altogether there were 30 or so clients. The Boys: The guys were younger, on average, than at P11 with a decidedly less muscle man, more twink feel. There were also many more white gorotos than at P11. There were a few past their prime garotos, apparently filling a niche for 40-something garotos among 60 or even 70 something clients. altogether, there were about a dozen boys. The prices: The entrance fee was R$33 and the suite rental was R$30. This compares to $25 for both at P11. Drinks were similar --R$5 for local beer R$10 or so for imports. the programa may be cheaper here. When I asked my chosen guy how much, he said 80. At P11 everybody started with R$100 My experience. When I walked in, it was clear that I wasnt a regular. The "legit" massuer attached himself to me and became my guide at the request of the front desk guy. After the brief tour, I sat down at a table in the bar/restarant to get a beer and take in the sights. the dude sat down with me and wouldnt go away. When he got up to go to the bathroom, I made a dash for the back of the building. While there, I ran into a tall, 23yo chocolate adonis named Rodrigo who was washing off in the communal shower. He sensed my appreciation and the dance began. Active, he says, but clarifies that he is liberally so when my face drops. He talks me into engaing the suite, making me think he is somehow incentivised to do so. Once inside, he was all over me with no holds or holes barred. A great time was had by all. Later, I met Angelo, one of the past his prime guys. he was nice and a year in Spain resulted in fluent Spanish. So, finally I could have a full conversation with someone. He isnt my type but I offered to cover his entry fee for giving me someone to talk to.3 points

Just as you previously did, you wrote another great report. Among other things, you wrote that you liked Sauna Fox. I never went there because I was told by so many people that Planetario 11 is the "only" sauna to visit in Salvador. I enjoyed my times at Planetario 11. I will have to check out Sauna Fox next time I am in Salvador, later this month. Thanks again.3 points

I can understand perfectly why he may not want to do that on his personal Facebook page. I have two Facebook pages. One in my real name that has family members, old classmates and business clients as friends. I have another under what I call my "club name" that I use for my dirt. I would post about my travels, my hookups and my sexcapades on the latter, not the former! Aunt Ruth and Uncle Fred don't need to read about those!2 points -

Did Fernando the tour guide tell you that Sauna Fox is mostly white garatos and clients? He told me that as well a few years ago, which kept me from initially visiting -- but my personal visits there have proven to me that it's not really all that much whiter than Planetario. The facility is just as nice if not nicer, although it is smaller, and the working boys there, IMHO, are just as fine and built as at Planetario, and almost as many darker / brown skinned guys. The neighborhood that Fox is in (Pituba) is a pretty upscale / upper-class neighborhood in Salvadaor, so that may be why more of the clients are "white" (lighter-skinned, really -- there really aren't many white people in Salvador or Brazil, at least not how we North Americans and Europeans define white). But like all the saunas in Salvador, you have to pick the right night and time for the best crowds. Regarding Sauna Persona, a few years ago, it was totally on-point, with several muscled, attractive, darker and browner garatos. On my last few visits, however, it hasn't had very many garatos, and the ones that were there were just average to me (similar in looks and build to the garatos at Rio's Meio Mundo). I've gotten into the habit of going to Persona right before a stop at Fox, since when staying in Barra or Vitoria or another "Zoma Sul" neighborhood in Salvador, a taxi ride to both is about a 30 minute ride, and they are not that far from each other if you take a cab. But they are both quite a ride from Planetario, or Olympus (another smaller sauna with some boys), or Sauna Rio (sauna with no working boys, all locals), or Sauna Paradise (another no garatos, all local sauna in Barra). In fact, one of the garatos at Persona told me that one certain nights the handsome, muscled guys on the northeast side of Salvador work at Fox. That is what inticed me to visit Fox for the first time. This was in 2013, and I've been to Fox at least 6 times since. In order of my preference in Salvador for garato saunas, I currently rank: Plametario > Fox > Persona > Olympus. These rankings may change depending if things change, as they have over the years.1 point -

P11 is three floors. You enter on the second floor which contains the locker rooms, the bar and the check in desk. The steam room, cold showers and a multipurpose room are on the bottom floor. The top floor contains a small, dark theater and 5-6 rooms and suites. The goarotos were nearly all as you describe for 117. Im told that there are two additional saunas in Salvador. sauna fox is noted for lighter skinned clientele and Thermas Persona is apparently even Blacker than P11. I will try to see at least one for mys of tomorrow and report back.1 point

After being told by the guys at Pointe not to come there on Monday but to go to the new sauna, Estacao in Botafogo, I decided to give it a try on Monday a couple weeks ago. The entrance fee was 30 realis and it was a 15 minute walk from the Botafogo subway station. The sauna is extremely small and when I arrived around 8:30 pm, there were two clients (including myself), two garotos working, the doorman, the bartender, the massage therapist and one guy taking care of the rooms. While generally nice and new (except the lockers came from Pointe), I don’t think the sauna will last long unless things change and a lot of garotos and clients start going there, but will be interesting to see now that this is Junior's only sauna . A couple pictures are below.1 point
