The distinguishing features between a gaycation and your everyday life escape me. Seriously, I have not a clue. What am I overlooking?

Yesterday turned out to be a fun day. I have a bad habit of hanging around the apt during the day and just going out in the evening. Do to language issues many of the first texts of the day from the boys is, Hi how are you, what are you doing. I told him i was going out to get a pedicure, at Cute and Beauty, a fun male beauty salon. He asked if he could go. So he showed up just after noon. He didn't quite understand the concept of gay beauty salon or pedicure, but when we got there he watched a movie on his phone and I got pampered a bit. Considering you live in sandals here, might as well try to look decent. Finished there and it was time for lunch. There is a Pizza Hut in the same block so we hit it up. People always say to me, why there? I love pizza but they have great salads and that's what I go for mostly. This is where I would normally head home, but since I was out and with good company....I said lets go down to the river and go for a boat ride. It topped out at 100 degrees so a breezy boat ride was sounding pretty good. They have tour boats, but I take the water taxi. They go to the same places with a couple extra stops. But less than a $1. Compared to $10 or so for a tour. So we killed a couple of hours and had some fun. But we were both beat from the heat so we headed back to the apt to cool off in the pool. Jokes on me. I jumpeded into the pool and realized I now have a swimming pool size hot tub. Holy crap, the water was way beyond bathtub warm. I have never felt a pool this warm. There has been a lot of 100 degree sun the past week. I'm starting to understand solar energy. We went inside to take a cool shower. The water may have been cool, but the atmosphere was quite hot. My friend has to go home to Vietnam Sunday for a family obligation and he brought his A game. I think he is hoping I'll be feeling quite generous for his trip. (It's working). After showering, we hit the bed to finish up, which didn't take long. We both fell asleep for a few hours. When we woke, it was time to feed him dinner. Asian boys eat small meals about 5 times a day. But if you go to a nice restaurant they can pack it away. We went to Balcony in Silom, Soi 4. It was about 8pm. Being May 1st and a holiday, many locals out of town, but lots of tourists in town. So quite busy but more eating indoors do to heat. He doesnt need to work at Hot Male this weekend as he is with me. But he said he wanted to go. He needed to talk to some friends that worked there. No argument from me, hanging out with a bunch of hot boys. We got there just in time for a show. So we went. Typical show. Couple traditional Thai dances, Hot wax show, suck show. No fuck show, regular boy out of town. Big cock show. 3 Vietnamese boys working and he introduced me to all of them. It finally hit me. He is trying to set me up so I won't be lonely while he is away. Little does he know, I am quite set up for next week. I won't be lonely. I don't want to be ungracious though, as he thought it would be fun to bring one of his friends over to the apt tonight for a little fun. Fine with me. As he leaves tomorrow for Vietnam, he won't be spending the night. A 3 way will be a good send off. He's on his way over now by taxi and off to dinner we go. Scoozis tonight. Fish for him and lasagna for me. Have to throw in a little Italian now and then. Dessert will be a couple of hot Vietnamese boys.

Poland probably has the most attractive blondes with fine features in the world. That's why so many models are Polish. Yep it's hot. I just got in at 2:30am and it's still 89 degrees. But for some fun reasons the heat didn't bother me tonight. I haven't had a 3 way yet, but I'm sure it's coming now. Just as we were finishing , one of his Vietnam friends joined us. Buy him a beer, sure...few minutes later, another friend joined us. Buy him a beer, sure. Then a few minutes later, another friend, yep another beer. We had our own Vietnamese section at the bar. They were all in such good moods, I haven't laughed so much in a long time. Kind of funny, the owner of Hot Male was there. I have met and talked to him a few times over the years. He saw me and came over and asked me if I was cornering the market on Vietnamese boys. He said to me kind of quietly that he likes Vietnamese boys to. He talked to them a bit telling them they were good boys and he was happy they worked there. The boys are on their best behavior while he is there. When he left, they all let out a deep breath and took a minute or so to get their sense of humor back. This isn't just the boss, but the owner. One of the boys asked me if we could go back and do a 3-way. As fun as that sounded, once a night is good for me. He kept quietly asking me. So I told him there were 4 boys there and I couldn't take 2, I would have to take all 4. All of a sudden they are having a conversation in Vietnamese that I can only imagine what they are saying. They all look at me and say yes. I had to say no. I had just eaten and fooled around. It wouldn't have been as much fun as it should be. I told them maybe next week when my friend gets back. They were happy with that. This one boy speaks pretty good English. I asked if 4 of you come over, what are you willing to do with each other. He explained who would do who and what . He covered it all. I've done a couple 3-ways never more than that, but this sounds like a fun 1 time thing. I know the questions of costs get brought up both in the Brazil and Asian sections. I bought dinner for 3 of us. And then drinks for about 6 guys. I'm watching the slips pile up. For those that haven't been, when you order drinks, they write up a slip of paper and put them in a bin In front of you. When you leave they add them all up and you pay. So time to leave and I get the bill for 1300 baht and I paid 400 for us to eat. Couple of 100 baht tips passed around, I spent about 2200 baht for all this boy fun. That's about $66.00 U.S It's Saturday night and a very big spend for me. Last Saturday night I went to Swinging Richards in Ft.Lauderdale and cover, couple drinks and tips, I spent $100 You can have an amazing time here, and if you connect with a boy the fun is endless. As Oz said above, these boys go out of their way to make sure we have a great trip, not just a great time. Sure it's a payday for them, but most of them do make it an issue to check up on you over the course of a trip. Even when they leave town, they will find you a friend, or 4 . But guys, don't fall in love. You can have so much fun, but I feel so bad when I meet a new guy over here and buys everything a boys says to him, and think they truly love only him. Besides being a butterfly is so much fun. I have the best of both. A boy I like being with and doesn't mind that I stray a bit. I think I will spend my Sunday napping in front of the TV? Living in Miami, the fares are always in the 1500-2000 range. Higher than anywhere else in the country. I can fly Mia-jfk-gig and fare drops to about 1k. But I noticed last week some fares were running about $975.00 from Miami. So maybe this will be a trend for a little while. I am in Bangkok now and I paid $750.00 from ft.lauderdale, more than twice rio. It's hard to figure sometimes, but they change so fast you need to jump on it.

Well if it's Heat, Humidity, and Boys your into, come on over. I got in at midnite and by the time I got to the taxi, I felt like a wet sponge. When you have 95 degrees with 80% humidity and dew points it ain't pretty. I stayed in all day and slept most of it. The flights over were great. On time , smooth, good service. But I just couldn't sleep. The guy in front of me was from Miami. 30 or so I would say, and quite hot. He sleep 13-1/2 hours of the 15 hour flight to Hong Kong. I told him I was jealous watching him sleep so long. Said he does 1-1/2 ambians. Said he does the flight every 3 months and sleeping thru it is the only way he can do it. This is a big holiday weekend in Thailand. Tomorrow is May Day and Monday is a bank holiday. Bangkok is no different than big cities in the U.S. All the locals are leaving the city and all the tourist are flocking here. I usually arrive at midnight and get a taxi in 5 minutes or so and gone. Last night, 30 minute waits with huge lines. I had fast track for immigration and no line, but regular lines were 30 to 45 minutes. I counted 20 tour buses and I'm sure there were more I couldn't see. Many groups arriving as you could see the leaders with there follow me flags held high in the air. So I think I'll spend the morning at the pool and wander out and join the ranks of tourist tomorrow afternoon. But now it's time for the main event. It's 8:30 and my phone is lined with messages of when are you coming out. Sometimes you wonder if it's you or your wallet they really want to see . It's still 90 degrees out, so I think I am delaying going As soon as I arrive at the bar where all my friends work and you start getting all the hugs, kisses and miss you's, and you start seeing and thinking of the 500 or so boys waiting for your business, you forget about the heat and long flight and start focusing on the fun stuff. A week from yesterday, {March 7, 2015}-- I returned to the United States after spending seven wonderful and ecstatic days in the "land of sun." We [my group of fourteen} had bright rays throughout our entire stay. Also, the hotel {Hotel Presidente} did NOT allow visitors in the rooms of the guests; if one had a visitor, he would have the personnel ring the room of the guest and wait for guest in the lobby of the hotel. {I think this system works in all hotels in this city.} On the afternoon of my arrival, I rang the cell phone number of the gay guide who had indicated prior to my coming that he would definitely arrange this tour for me. Well, unlucky and unfortunate me did NOT take in this experience: the guide was out of Havana {supposedly} when I rang him, but he did arrange {at my agreement and request of his} one of his amigos, Fernando. The guy arrived and met me in the lobby of the hotel, but prior to his being at the hotel I had changed my mind, for I'd only wanted Yunior as my guide since he is the one who gives various tours in Havana as well as outside to towns, etc. When Fernando arrived, I met him and shared that I have chosen NOT to take this tour with him because I was exhausted after my only having arrived in Havana a few hours earlier. Fernando seemed understanding; I gave him half the fee, which at this writing I have second and third thoughts and should have merely given him $10CUCs instead of $25 CUC. {Yunior's fee is $50CUCs per day}. I went back to my room and viewed television before "turning in" for the night. All of that gorgeous, "huge dick" of which I'd anticipated for many weeks had gone away. The next day I rang Yoel, the cutie who advertises on www.gayromeo.com and sought out his services for Monday. He and I had difficulty in communicating, for he spoke very, very, very little English, and I the same with Espanol. When Monday arrived I rang him again; our communication was abysmal. After a bit a man chimed in and asked if I spoke Spanish: you know what my response was. A minute later he stated that Yoel would be at my hotel at 9:00P. I began preparing for our meeting, but at 7:30P-- the desk clerk rang and stated that a Jhon was in the lobby for me; I replied that I did not know a Jhon and hung up. Shortly afterwards I was in the lobby only to view this 5'9 mulatto standing not too far from the counter but in a discreet area. I approached him and stated "Yoel," he immediately said Jhon. I told him that he was to have been there at 9P; his only response was "I am sorry." I asked him to wait until I went to take a shower to which he replied as "douche" to which I understood because that's the word that was used in France when I there. After I completed the necessary moves, I joined Yoel in a taxi and off we went to "his {I presume} house. While in taxi I caressed his beautifully sculpted thighs encased in jeans. He showed me photos of self on his beautiful flat screen cell phone along with a very gorgeous black stud. I smiled. Both of us remained silent until we'd arrive at a fairly decent, neat and clean house in Veradado. When he knocked on the door, a woman greeted us. My heart slumped, for I thought who is she and.... Once we'd had our fun and I'd enjoyed his body, especially his 23 or 24cms--we cleaned ourselves and dressed. Yoel took me to another part of his abode where it looked as if a different woman sat. {Could have been the same one, for I was basking in the afterglow.} Yoel asked her to ask me if he could spend the next day with me. I politely declined for I was with a group; she asked about the next day; I lied and responded that the group was leaving on this day. Yoel and I said adios to each other, and that was my "first and last taste" of a Cubano. I do intend to return to Cuba {Havana and some historical towns}; I do intend to have my gay tour via Yunior or the other man who has a google account; I do intend to engage in lots of scalding, sexual activities; I do intend to have my orgy, something that might have happened this trip if I'd honored Yoel's requests. He has a very hot stable of amigos. He'd emailed photos of many hotties after I'd shown interest in being with him. He also put me in contact with an older friend of his, Frank, who rents apartments and rooms. Frank and I communicated briefly. I also do intend to do my "gay night tour" with a guide, and lastly will purchase an electronic translator, something that I'd thought about doing this time but did not. In my looking back about my past trip to the largest of islands in the Caribbean, I'm viewing it favorably; I did have lots of good experiences minus the one to which I wrote about at length, but that will solve itself in the future; I'll definitely know what to do!! Sheraton hotel to Mezziniu cab? about how much? about how long? will they call a cab for you at the club for your return? or are cabs waiting outside? 3? The Bar down town, Bar Mixx in Porto Alegre, any words for a first timer, also is it walkable to the Sharaton? 4? i was thinking of going down to Porto Alegra from rio on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, back to rio on Monday? is 3 days too long, or should i add another day? thank you for your help, right now i am planing a 26 day trip in June...

The Lufthansa credit card from Barclays is offering a 50K mile bonus now. I paid $685 for June 30-July 6 and paid around $850 for December 27-January 3 on American.... I check constantly to see if the rates change... Anybody know how I can get upgraded on American to business/first class?

The cheap American Airlines fares are also available from the west coast for about one hundred dollars more than from New York. The fares are valid even for flights months from now. As you wrote about the cheap fares, "you need to jump on it." These fares won't last long.

Mother Nature can take care of herself. We might not like it but she can. My question is: How can the Pope (or anyone else) defend poor people on the one hand and then promote their increase on the other? I agree we should not defile the Earth. I can give you impressions based on my 5-6 visits. Very safe neighborhood in my opinion. Eixample neighborhood; perhaps 5 or so blocks west of main gay area. I have usually gone between 5-8 the evening. It seems many guys start to leave at around 8 (get back home for dinner?; I know it is a great pre-dinner activity for me!!). I have always seen at least 25 guys working during that time period. I have been given rates from 50-100 euros but never paid more than 80.

I think you mean, find a life. Most demeaning things are only demeaning if the instigator thinks they are demeaning. If you hold yourself out to be fondled and do not like it, whose fault is that? Some pilots think they are asked to do too much to satisfy the owner or client. It's off to Bangkok in the morning. I'll be there for 3 weeks on this trip. The boys remember the return dates. I've gotten quite a few texts last couple of days. Thanks axiom! Organized tours are difficult to negotiate free time. :/. I use Cuba junky website to book casa particulars. These are people renting our rooms for a fee of $30usd/cuc. Some advertise as gay as well, Also, planet romeo is used in Cuba as the main source of contact. Or it was a few years ago. Guys can be found at humbolt 52, on the malecon near humbolt, and in the park in old town Havana near the hotels. Also, micayito beach is full of available men. I've heard very mixed stories regarding yunior as a tour guide. I suggest going to humbolt 52 and making contacts there for tours and whatnot. As an American, I flew to Mexico city and bought a cash ticket with interjet and flew to Cuba that way. Take lots of euros or Canadian dollars if you are from the states. I feel that getting in trouble with U.S. authorities is very minimal these days. I asked for no stamps on my passport when I arrived in Havana and they obliged. Axiom, Cuba really is an island full of amazing men isn't it? Gorgeous faces and bodies everywhere. Such a warm friendly place. It's in my heart for sure. Thank you for your great post.
