  1. Do yourself a favor and if you like to travel, make Kracow, Poland next on your list. The most beautiful European city I have ever seen and I've seen all of them except maybe Dubrovnik. The town square makes Prague pale in comparison. The prices for food and travel and convenience stores etc etc etc are close to 1/2 of those other cities. I have not been able to meet any boys because of my travel arrangements but a lot of cuties on Gayromeo and Hornet who have replied to me and the price structure appears to be $60- 80. I will be back for sure to experience that part. I have included a few photos and hope they don't bore you without boys?? This is now my favorite city irrespective of boys if I find boys to be good and available ,which based on their replies to me I expect , it will move to the top of my list

    Back in Bangkok

It's off to Bangkok in the morning. I'll be there for 3 weeks on this trip. The boys remember the return dates. I've gotten quite a few texts last couple of days. So hopefully I'll have something to write about. Weather has been very hot and very wet. Good excuse to stay in and spend a lot of time cuddling up. Will try to figure how to post some pictures.

  4. I visited Santo Domingo only once a couple of years ago. Although I liked my time spent there, I have no plans to return. There are lots of hustlers in the city. I was lucky to avoid any crooked ones or scam artists. All were clean, polite, performed as agreed and asked for little money in exchange for their services. Prior to going to Santo Domingo, I had heard warnings of scams in certain areas of the Colonial Zone where tourists are supposedly targeted for scams. Consequently, for the most part, I avoided that area except to see it as a tourist. There is a small, family-owned hotel in Santo Domingo. Many guests are tourists who bring back "visitors" (hustlers or female prostitutes) to a room. The hotel staff and owner appear non judgmental about guests bringing visitors to rooms. The hotel I chose is one of a few decent hotels in Santo Domingo that allows a hotel guest to bring back a visitor. There is a five or six dollar charge for bringing back a visitor to a guest room. The charge includes the front desk registering the visitor and retaining the visitor’s identification, which is returned to the visitor after the hotel guest confirms that everything is in order (you were not robbed, killed etc). The name of the hotel is Hotel Duque De Wellington. If you read Trip Advisor reviews about the above-named hotel, don't be put off by some of the guests complaining about the hustlers and hookers in the lobby or in the area of the hotel. I found the experience entertaining. Yes, the conservative site TripAdvisor.com reports on gay venues. Hustlers can be engaged in bars in Santo Domingo or along the streets near the hotel and/or in other areas in the city. There are many hustlers that hang around the area of the above-mentioned hotel and they are, by and large, friendly and good looking but are lacking in charm. Knowing Spanish is a plus (my Spanish is terrible). However, some of the hustlers know a bit of English. If you know Italian or Portuguese (I am okay with Portuguese), there is enough similarity in the languages for you to communicate (at a basic level) with the Spanish-speaking hustlers in Santo Domingo. Using a smart phone to translate would not be a good idea while trying to negotiate with a guy in the open areas of Santo Domingo. As to Rio being a rich mans’ Dominican Republic, I must disagree. Those two places are nothing alike. The most obvious difference between Brazilian garotos and the Santo Domingo hustlers was the lack of “charm” that is found with the Brazilian garotos but not with the Dominicans. While it is true that the guys in the Dominican Republic were friendly, they lacked the special charm that the Brazilian garotos have. The old musical (My Fair Lady) contains a song that has words that fit the Brazilian garotos but not the guys from the Dominican Republic. The words are “oozing with charm from every pore” definitely applies to Brazilian garotos. If anyone has a desire to check out Dominican Republic, I heartily recommend it as a place to visit. As a place for continuing and/or repeat visits, that possibility must rest with each person after the first visit. Some will like it while others will not.

  9. Flipao, prior to my reading your suggestion, I immediately thought about Anthony Montgomery and his wonderful web.blogspot and all of the salient information and photos which are there. I was in Santo Domingo for a week in 2005, and for the most part enjoyed my experience except for the accident which I incurred [...fell into one of those curb-side openings and tore a ligament in my knee and was impaired and out of commission for the rest of my stay!]. My injury led to surgery back home and an ugly scar from knee downward. In terms of the men, I still prefer the Brasilians but plan to return to the DR to re-experience and truly and really enjoy what I lost out on in 2005. The club scene has changed dramatically since my first visit. Get your updates via Anthony, an ex-pat who's lived there for a few years now, and since I've been reading his blog from time to time, many changes have transpired in terms of the gay/escort scene as well as the ever-changing clubs. There's an X cinema there; ...have yet to go!

  10. I can confirm that there are many available Brazilians in London. Last year I reported in the forum, my experience at a facility in London that offers lots of Brazilian escorts. In this response, I will include some of the information of my prior post. There are various ways to meet Brazilian escorts while in London. You can connect through the internet or visit the long existing “brothel” called Villa Gianni. Villa Gianni is located at #32 Nevern Place, four blocks from the Earl's Court underground station. To find Villa Gianni, take the underground to Earl’s Court station. Exit the underground station, make a left turn, then walk two blocks then turn left on Nevern place, then walk to # 32. At arrival at the facility, ring a door bell at the red painted door that has a 32 on it. The place is in the lower basement of the building. You will not need to say anything when the person answers the door. The person knows why you are there. You will be guided down a hall to a room that has a one way glass that allows a viewer to see the rent boys but the rent boys cannot see the viewer. Each guy stands in front of the glass window and demonstrates and shows off what he has to offer to entice you to choose him. The manager tells you what each guy likes to do. If you like what you see, you advise the manager. You and the garoto you like will be directed to a private bedroom in the villa. The price for one hour is 90 pounds, Sterling, payable after the event concludes. That price is cheap considering it is London, one of the most expensive cities in the world. The nearly non existent risk to clients (not being scammed by fakes and bogus ads), this facility is awesome. If the escort is more than satisfying, a handsome tip to the escort is definitely in order after the session, even though the escort does not ask for a tip. During my first visit, the only guys there were Brazilians. On later visits there were other types and other nationalities. A good thing about an operation like this is, we do not have to contend with fake ads and bogus/stolen photos or escorts demanding money up front then not performing.

  13. Simple - unlike the U.S., much of Europe does not require a visa from Brazilians. Many sauna guys that we see in Europe entered there legally but after the passage of time, they over-stayed their allotted time to remain in Europe, which normally does not exceed six months. Many of the Brazilian sauna guys seen in Europe return to Brazil fairly often which starts the six-month clock running again, which makes them "legally" in Europe for up to six months after they reenter. Some sauna guys have been in Europe for years and could be deported if caught. I was in Spain a few years ago when there was a "round up" of sauna guys who over-stayed their allotted time. The saunas were deadly dull during that enforcement period. Conversely, sauna guys cannot get a visa to visit the U.S. unless they "have a compelling reason to return to Brazil" and the standard to answer that question comes from the U.S. government, not from the sauna guy. I personally know of only one instance of a sauna guy being admitted to the U.S. However, he was admitted, not as a tourist. Rather, he was admitted as a student. His sponsor (a frequent visitor to Brazil) enrolled the sauna guy in a college and the sauna guy was accepted for admission. On the basis of the college admission, the sauna guy was issued a student visa to enter the U.S. The standard for admission to Europe, on the other hand, is rather simple. The below information explains how there can be so many Brazilians in Europe. However, the reason they are there is to make money. Visa requirements for Brazilian citizens: From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia A Brazilian passport Visa requirements for Brazilian citizens are administrative entry restrictions by the authorities of other states placed on citizens of Brazil. In 2014, Brazilian citizens had visa-free or visa on arrival access to 146 countries and territories, ranking the Brazilian passport 21st in the world.[1] Mercosul members and some other countries (as shown below) do not even require a passport; a national or state-issued Brazilian identity card is enough. Nevertheless, this piece of identification must be in good conservation state and less than five years from its issue date. 14. If you have traveled to DR for the boys, give me some feedback please... I had a conversation with a guy who travels to Santo Domingo at least 3-4 times a year for the boys...I dud that in my early 20's and quickly got over DR by my late 20s and celebrated my 31st there and decided to give it a LONG break.... DR has some very attractive guys who are well built and very attractive...My problem is that I find DR as a whole TOO third world.... I love the guys and the availability and variety but HAD the overall experience and prefer Rio as a whole... What do you guys think?

  21. How did you arrive at your conclusion about "guys that visit from the states?" When I was there, I was interested in the local scene and culture. The chief difference I noticed (comparing the guys in Santo Domingo versus guys in Brazil) was the lack of "charm" of the Dominican hustlers, as I already reported above. I did not pay much attention to other tourist visitors to Santo Domingo. I was there to do my own thing. I heard occasional complaints from Americans alleging that hustlers were asking too much. I also heard similar complaints from Americans who visit Brazil. Same tune, different orchestra! I am puzzled how you concluded that visitors to Santo Domingo from the states are a "lower budget" than those visitors to Brazil. Just curious.

    Kracow Poland

I was there in the autumn of 2013 and appreciated what the city had to offer. Irrespective of politics and history, Krakow was, to me, one of the most beautiful cities of our world. I think I hooked up, too, but don't remember if it were in Krakow or Warsaw!

    Kracow Poland

See the other side of things of this evil complicitous anti-Semetic nation. Make sure to spend most of an entire day visiting both Auschwitz-Birkenau 1 and Auschwitz-Berkenau 2. No film or TV show can ever show the true horror. Denials that the Poles had no clue? Easy decision. On a lighter note, take the day tour to Wieliczka Salt Mine. At least a half-day at Wawel Castle Both memorable. IMO, Bruges or Ghent are hands down more beautiful.

  25. Cool design except less HEADROOM. Probably still fine while seated but that awkward stand/crouch while waiting to make it into the isle looks like it'll be even worse--and some horrible side-limbo IF the bin is open!

  29. I appreciate your response and experience....Again, "charm" is relative to what you are looking for.... In both DR and Rio, I understand the game and don't fall for the boyfriend of the week scam...I don't fall period...I enjoy the time and when it's over, I send them on their way... In DR, on one of my last nights in town, with my boyfriend of the week knowing it, he was prospecting at an even that we went to together.....No problem...I understand he needed his next "boyfriend" and I would be flying out the next morning In Rio, I have seen guys that I keep in contact with and can never wait for me to be back in town because they "miss me!" The biggest different for me was the culture and subtle-ness that Brazilians offer....In both countries, it is acceptable to be a male escort for guys who have girlfriends and wives because it is all about the money, DR just seems lower budget "TO ME" both with the guys that visit from the states and Europe and the escorts there....

  31. San Francisco is my favorite. Especially the Boudin Sourdough Bread/Sandwich store in the United Terminal. Order the Italian with double meat and balsamic dressing. They cut it in half and I ask them to wrap each half separately so I can stretch it into 2 meals. It's right next to the Asian Cafe with Dim Sum, another good choice.

  34. The regionals are the airliners that need more carry on baggage room. They are smaller aircraft and fly generally shorter legs. Even before the extra profit checked baggage came into vogue, everyone wanted to use carry on exclusively on regionals. From the experience of my friends who unfortunately have to use the regionals, they now have an unwritten policy of denying carry on even though it was bought specifically to fit on a regional. Their first claim, if you object, is, no, it won't fit. Their second claim is the aircraft has run out of room for carry on baggage. Clearly they are after the $25. Best regards, RA1
