Glad someone else is trying Colombia . Gayromeo was great for as always. Both the regular and escort session. Boys were happy with $50 US in pesos although naturally they will ask for more. I will have a new experience in a few weeks. Warsaw, Poland . Some real cuties on Gayromeo. Going rate appears to be about $80 an hour $250 all night. Definitely not as cheap as Thailand or Colombia but not bad compared to USA. By the way if you go to Colombia , you must go to Medellin just a beautiful place. Drive from the airport to the city feels like the Alps.6 points -

I really enjoy visiting Brazil. The only two things I dislike while I am in Brazil are (1) the frequent holidays and (2) the frequent protests/demonstrations. Today's protest/demonstration is supposed to include "500" cities and "hundreds of thousands of people" throughout Brazil. The protest will lead no where because it is fueled by another futile attempt to oust Brazil's president. The protests to oust her continue even though the president appears to have not committed any impeachable offense. Quite simply, the people just don't like her even though she is on her second term. On the plus side, the protests give Brazilians a way to spend some time together for a cause even if the cause is only to get together. Here is a link that discusses the protest/demonstration: http://riotimesonline.com/brazil-news/rio-politics/protests-expected-in-500-cities-throughout-brazil/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+TheRioTimes+%28The+Rio+Times%292 points

So does this little throw-away line mean that you turned Edmonds down or that he fled when you tried to rip his clothes off right in the hotel lobby?2 points

Gay Istanbul - A TotallyOz Adventure
episevilla reacted to TotallyOz for a topic
I have always been fascinated with the ancient Ottoman Empire since hearing about it in high school. I have always wanted to visit Istanbul. My trip is not so much boytoy or moneyboy related but more of a cultural photo perspective. I am not Tomcal and I don't have tons of boy photos. I am not Firecat and have tons of sex adventures. But, I am enjoying my time in this magical land and I hope some of you will enjoy the photos and the adventure as well. Day 1: Spice Market The Spice Market, or the Egyptian Market, is one of the coolest places to go in Istanbul. It is one of the larger markets and inside you will find tons of spices and places that make Turkish Delight. Naturally, I had to buy a box or two. It was originally called the New Market as it was next to a Mosque that was built from taxes from the Egyptian treasury. There was a big crowd there today but still it was enjoyable to see.1 point -

Here is another who replied to me. Initial ask was about $80 but I'm sure he would take less. I did not want to dicker with him because I am not ready to go again.1 point -

In Bogota I stayed in Hilton no problem with visitors. Medellin I stayed in Colombia Hotel (don't remember name) again no problem at all. Saftey I can only tell you I saw 6 boys from Gayromeo not all in the escort section and I had no problems. As always put your valuables away and be aware as you need to be in Brazil Thailand Prague or anywhere. No idea about short term Hotels because I don't generally like.1 point -
1. With respect to Medellin, where is the best place to find and meet with an escort? 2. Is it safe to invite an escorts to a hotel room? 3. Are escorts allowed to visit a foreigner's hotel room? 4. Are there "short term" hotels in Medellin? 5. Are they easy to find if such places exist? Thanks in advance for a response.1 point

From attending a number of the annual Dark Shadows Festivals over the years (first went in 1993 -- when Louis Edmonds sort of propositioned me ), I got to know Lara Parker a little bit. Enough for her to remember me by name, and what we talked about last time we met. She used to be a high school English teacher, so as fellow lit'rature aficionados we found some common interests. She is the sweetest person. Some videos from the last one I went to, in 2011...1 point

A minaret is a distinctive architectural feature of mosques and this one was taken outside the great Blue Mosque in Istanbul today! The others are from the Blue Mosque as well. I went on a tour inside. It is still an active Mosque so you must take your shoes off before you go inside and there are those that are praying. It was a beautiful Mosque!1 point

The Hagia Sophia was a Greek Orthodox Church and then a Mosque and now a museum. It portrays many beautiful mosaics from the New Testament and it very lovely to see. It also tells a lot about the value that the Turkish placed on historical buildings. It is a example of Byzantine architecture and it was the largest domed church in the world for nearly 1,000 years. The church was converted to a Muslim Mosque when the Ottomans conquered Constantinople and many of the Christian symbols were destroyed but the building itself stood tall. Today was rainy and wet and messy and there was a line around the block. My driver told me at least 2 hours. I was not willing to wait. But, a guy approached us and said for an extra 3USD he would take me to the front of the line and get me in. I was doubtful but agreed. It worked great and no wait time. He did the same thing for the Cistern an hour or two later. I tipped him both times and he followed me saying “my friend, my friend.” LOL But, I think I pissed off more than a few who were waiting properly with umbrellas and rain gear.1 point

Day 2 The Bosphorus River Cruise The Bosphorus River runs through Istanbul. It is a legendary river that has been in many films and the mansions that were build on the River date back to the Ottoman empire. There was one that a sultan just purchased for 125 Million USD to renovate for his 2nd wife. The river gives you a nice view of beautiful homes, several bridges, the huge Rumelihisar fortress as well as tons of homes that fill the mountain tops of the river areas. The cruise was a great time but the weather was cold and taking photos in an open air boat got this New Yorker, really cold!1 point
