After a dull Thursday night at Lagoa, I decided to return to Lagoa last night (Friday). I arrived a little before six. Unlike Thursday night when the sauna was terribly dull, last night there were lots of clients but more important there were lots of garotos. Depending on likes and dislikes, I found several garotos that were extremely handsome and many were just ordinary in appearance, and, a few were not so good looking. While I was talking with some of my friends at the sauna, an exceptionally handsome garoto kept looking over at us and smiling and winking. After a minute or so of exchanging glances, the garoto came over to talk with us but he focused his attention on me. Garotos at the saunas are not at all timid. This garoto has a great personality and has a unique charm and gorgeous looks. While he was talking with us, his towel kept "accidentally" falling off. Each time his towel fell, his dick got harder and harder (he helped it along while touching and pulling it). It was one of the largest and perfectly formed dicks I have ever seen. Without much more delay, he quickly introduced himself. When he shook hands with me, he grabbed onto my hand and pulled it to his hard dick and with his other hand, pulled my other hand over his hard dick. He then laughingly said "Agora, que espremer" (now squeeze it). I thought this was cute and quite unique. I couldn't help but laugh. Mind you, this incident took place in a crowded open sauna with other people looking on. I have had more than my expected share of great times in the Brazilian saunas. However, this was the first time something like this ever happened with me and I was rather pleased, to say it mildly. Only in Brazil could an event like this take place. Incidentally, the garoto's name is Leandro, he is extremely handsome, he is age 20 and he lives in the City of Guarulhos, near the Sao Paulo airport. He told me that he takes the bus from his house near the airport and is usually at Lagoa on Wednesday and Friday evenings. I highly recommend him. By the way, I have heard incorrect reports claiming that the garotos at Lagoa charge outrageous prices for their services. Leandro asked the going rate (R$100) for one hour in a cabine. At today's exchange rate, that is roughly thirty eight dollars. What a gift. -4 points

As tomcal has suggested , i went to planetario sauna yesterday afternoon. I was there also last year, and i didn't like it to much. I have found the average age of escorts to high. Yesterday on saturday it was completely different. Boys were very nice and also in early to mid twenties. Asking price was 70 reais. I went with a qute 20 years old boy, and he was doing his best. Later yesterday evening i went to a guided night tour of salvador. First i went to local party of bad neighbourhood. People were dancing samba in a real erotic way. It was more like a love foreplay. After that i went to gay club called champagne. At first i was a little dissapointed, because it was very basic establishment. . But , when the music started.... There was a fat laty singing popular brazilian music, she had a strong voice and now the boys were dancing.... Really pure erotic pleasure, i took one video, more i was afraid, becauce someone, might not like it. I wanted to take one guy home, but my guide didn't let me. He said that today he is responsible for my security. Today there is gay day at the beach, let's see how it goes....3 points

When I was in Brazil for months at a time years back, I would just hire a driver to take me from Rio to Sao Paulo or vice versa. I hired guys with big SUV's as I had too much luggage. The cost of the extra luggage on the planes was more than a private car. I loved the ride and enjoyed the scenery. I did get lost once with a driver as the road was blocked and we took a detour. A bit scary but some beautiful countryside.3 points

I have been to Brazil as much as Tom over the years and disagree with him. Off season for the saunas is when Tom is in town. All the boys seem to be preoccupied and thus I get lonely.3 points

I just realized that I failed to mention that Lagoa was recently remodeled. The most obvious change is the demolition of the former "non smoking" television room. That floor space is now part of the former small bar near where the shows are performed and near where the open glass showers are found. Drinks and food are served at the larger bar area. The larger space gives the illusion of a larger sauna. I am not too crazy about the color of paint used in the new bar area but at least the color is cheerful. Some other areas of the sauna were ungraded and a gym area was added in the room just past the "swimming" pool. The new gym area doesn't get much foot traffic except from admirers of body builders. I noticed that a couple of the body builders seemed entranced at watching themselves in the mirrors in the new gym. I never saw the body builders come out of the gym to mingle among other folks in the general sauna area. One change that was not made is the failure to add air conditioning to the sauna. During the current heat wave in Sao Paulo, it would be nice to visit Lagoa and not have to endure a hot and humid environment. Considering the high cash flow to the sauna, the cost to add air conditioning would probably be offset by the increase in paying customers during the three hot months of Brazil's summer. Bottom line? Lagoa's facilities have been upgraded for the better - try the place -you will like it.2 points

Probably my favorite part of the trip is passing Aparecida. It is the home to the Shrine of Our Lady(Nosso Senhora de) of Aparecida. The basilica is to Brasil's patron saint. It happens to be the second largest church building in the world after St. Peter's in Rome. The other highlight is passing through Sao Jose dos Campos, with the Embraer factory. A definite lowlight is the food stop with poor quality and high prices. I have tried to remember to get something tasty in the Tiete bus terminal or at the other end in Rodoviaria Novo Rio.2 points

The Escort, Gay Scene in Lisbon, Portugal, 2015

There are no rentboys saunas in Lisbon, but I met in the newest one, closed to Praça Camoens, a very attractive Brazilian who eyed me and offered his services... I took the offer at once! Years ago there was some hustler cruising at Rua San José, near Rossio. I haven't see much recently but the Rua is beautiful and restaurants very good. Best way is Gayromeo. Also enjoy your trip and have a nice and have a sexy visit!! Epi1 point -
Despite my knowing that Thursday is generally not a busy night at Lagoa, I got talked into going there last night. It was an absolute waste of time, effort and money to go there. There were some garotos in attendance but (in my opinion) very few good looking ones. The clients out numbered the garotos by at least two to one. That inverted ratio tends to cause the garotos to become a bit aggressive and nagging about taking them to a room. I stayed only a couple of hours due to the composition of the sauna. But, today is Friday. I expect tonight at Lagoa will be its usual jolly and "cheio" status with lots of available garotos. I expect to be there before six o'clock. By the way, for those who find the hot and humid weather in Rio to be oppressive this time of year, you might want to give Sao Paulo a try. Although it is summer in Brazil, Sao Paulo is more than two thousand feet elevation which means that it is cooler and less humid than Rio, which is at sea level. There are only two decent rent boi saunas in Sao Paulo and there are only two rent boi saunas in Rio. There is more to do and see in Sao Paulo during "non sauna" time. The airplane from Rio to Sao Paulo takes less than one hour. It is also possible to take an "executive" bus which takes between five and six hours, depending on traffic. The executive bus is quite comfortable and stops half way through the journey for lunch. The executive bus might be something to do - once.1 point

Lookin, funny that you posted the photo. Taking the airport bus from Galeao into Rio, the drivers are not at all cautious matching claim checks when exiting the bus. But just the opposite with the long distance buses. They have multiple porters at each end passing out claim checks and loading the suitcases onto the correct bus and not permitting other passengers getting near the luggage. And ditto at the other end where there is a line-up of passengers and one doesn't get their suitcase until the claim check isn't presented and then matched against the luggage.1 point

A satisfying, but meta, answer is, "Poe wrote on both," given by puzzle enthusiast Sam Lloyd. More in the spirit of the nonsense genre, Aldous Huxley ventured, "Because there is a 'b' in both and an 'n' in neither." Beautifully bizarre. More at this link. Lewis Carrole's answer to his own riddle: Carroll's answer to why a raven is like a writing desk? "Because it can produce a few notes, tho they are very flat; and it is never put with the wrong end in front!" I'm sure your thighs are now sore from the repeated slapping they took after you read that line. Originally, it was supposed to be a little funnier than that. Carroll spelled 'never,' as 'nevar' — 'raven' spelled backwards — but a proofreader erased the inverted pun before it was published.1 point

I will have to ask his permission prior to posting his photo. Some garotos like to have their photo posted as a sort of advertising, while some garotos do not want their photo shown. It is an individual thing. I plan to see him again next Wednesday night at Lagoa. However, in Brazil, we have to add in a "maybe" to the plan, as Brazilians are often undependable.1 point
