Rainy since 2pm, caught a break around 6 heading to Lagoa. Is it the holiday shopping? Metro is super packed. Most people should be off work by now. Had to take a different route today, thankfully the new line4 is not too crowded and also connect to line1 which goes to Santa Cruz where Lagoa is. Arrived at 6:50. Perhaps it's the rain, the place is a little empty. Monday has a special 35R entry fee special if paid by cash or debit, so it should be a good night. The boy parade between 7 and 8 didn't happen tonight. Rain stared to come down hard from 7. There is one cute white twink, the way he walks is turning me off a little. He went with some client around 7:30. Another white jock type is also quite cute. He is a little bigger for my taste, but as he stands in the locker room chatting with other boys, his friendly smile really draws me in. The other dark slim boy I saw in 117 a week ago is now in Lagoa. I had an ok session with him last year before Patagonia. He tried to chat me up, impressed he learned some English in the past year. But I had the white jock boy as a preferred target tonight. His name is Jesse. He finally stopped chatting with a group of boys and walked around looking for business. We caught eyes and settled on details and price. He is a good kisser, great start. Claims to be top first, then said he will bottom if I pay him 150 since he rarely does it. This is a negative but he says it with an appolgetic smile and doesn't seem like he is lying just to get the client, so I decided to go with him. The boy is eager to please, and probably str8 since he asked for a room with TV and now keeps steal peeks of the str8 porn now and then. He gives great head and rims like eating pussy, I am just guessing here. Very nice. As we get to fucking, his hole is really tight, even a finger makes him grimacing. But he doesn't try to get out of it like some boys by moving away, it takes some time to penetrate, it apparently hurts and the faces he makes are hot and funny. He asks me to go slow and we tried for a minute or so. He really hates it and eventually asked me to stop. He smiles apologetically and starts to blow me again, asking me to come on his chest. I like his attitude and doesn't mind the alternative ending. It is a pretty good session. Love a boy that's honest and pleasant all the way through. Would be happy to do a repeat. Satisfied. Head back to hotel around 9. Rain is coming down non-stop. Glad I got the tourist things done last week. Rain all night, great for sleep. And all day tomorrow. Which sauna should I go tomorrow?6 points

Having a local friend turns out to be a great experience. The friend was in solid higher middle class here before, with a wonderful group of friends in similiar social circle, mostly managers in multi-national corporations. Saturday lunch was trying out snack stands at a street fair. Not a big fun of the food, but interesting experience eating among locals. Then one of friend's friend joined us for a walk around the area (happens to be the fragata area) for a grafatti tour then the best ice cream place in São Paulo. 10R for two scoops very delicious ice cream on cones made in the shop, huge lineups. Then back to hotel shower and went to friend's condo for a dinner party at 8pm. This is my first time going to a Brazilian house party, there are 20 people there, 2 str8 couples each with a kid, 4 ladies, the rest gay guys. A couple of young late 20 something gay guys are especially fun to talk to. Both have been to canada and USA. People hugs and kiss on the cheeks as they join the party, talk and laugh, time flies and the party didn't end until 3am! I learned so much about how life is like in Brazil, couldn't care less about missing the sauna visit on a Saturday night. Brazilians are so warm and kind among close friends, heart-warming to see. I told my friend's ex I want to hike Pedra Grande, and being a fabulous host, he convinced one of the gay guys to drive us there today. Wonderful view of São Paulo from atop. Then went for late lunch at a fancy Asian influenced restaurant as I mentioned I miss chinese food, Brazilian food is somewhat dry. I have to say eating out in São Paulo is noticeably more expensive than Toronto, with less tasty food. Friend's friend insisited to foot the bill for all three of us, for each of us, a small beer for 18R, an entry in 65R, icecream as desert 18R. Parking is another 15R. The trip started in 10:30 in the morning, ended back in hotel at 5:30. Shower, relax a little, then hit Fragata at 6:45. There is a show tonight, tons of customers, one of the table is occupied by 4 customers playing cards not as many boys came in around 7 as Friday, some drag performers arrived. One of the Latino guy caught my eye, about 5'11", slim, toned, very cute face, looks somewhat familiar. After we caught each other's attention and iron out details in the sauna, we head up to a basic room as no suite is available. The best looking boys tend to be so so cock suckers. Then I remembered this is the boy I had a crush on in Lagoa three years ago. Name is Pablo, he is more easygoing now, smiles a lot, makes up a liitle for the lackluster blow job. A decent session. Took a couple walk around Afterwards, the place is packed, but mostly with customers waiting for the show. Don't see many new faces. It's been a super packed weekend, I left for hotel. Wonderful first week in São Paulo, even though haven't got around to hit Lagoa yet, and fragata is somewhat lackluster, had my best time ever because of the local connections.4 points

Late fall and the Indians on a remote reservation in North Dakota asked their new chief if the coming winter was going to be cold or mild. Since he was a chief in a modern society, he had never been taught the old secrets. When he looked at the sky, he couldn’t tell what the winter was going to be like. Nevertheless, to be on the safe side, he told his tribe that the winter was indeed going to be cold and that the members of the village should collect firewood to be prepared. But, being a practical leader, after several days, he got an idea. He went to the phone booth, called the National Weather Service and asked, “Is the coming winter going to be cold?” “It looks like this winter is going to be quite cold”, he was responded. So the chief went back to his people and told them to collect even more firewood in order to be prepared. A week later, he called the National Weather Service again, “Does it still look like it is going to be a very cold winter?” “Yes”, the man at National Weather Service again replied, “it’s going to be a very cold winter.” The chief again went back to his people and ordered them to collect every scrap of firewood they could find. Two weeks later, the chief called the National Weather Service again. “Are you absolutely sure that the winter is going to be very cold?” “Absolutely”, the man replied. “It’s looking more and more like it is going to be one of the coldest winters we’ve ever seen.” “How can you be so sure?” the chief asked. The weatherman replied, “The Indians are collecting a shitload of firewood.”3 points

I swear Oz is so difficult to shop for. After much head scratching (I should shampoo more often), I finally came up with matching made in India Vespas for re-gifting to the boys. Too much?1 point

I have never seen or heard of a hustler bar in Rio or Salvador even though there might be one there. There is a "sort of" hustler bar in Sao Paulo. A few years ago, it was a fairly good hustler bar. Due to the popularity of the bar, over the past few years the bar has made many changes. One change that I don't like is the loud "shows" (lots of singing drag queens). One change that I occasionally like is the male strip shows. They are fun to watch. The bar opens late (near midnight). The loud music sometimes makes it difficult and awkward to converse with the garotos. Many of the hustlers are garotos that earlier in the evening were at one of the two rent-boy saunas in Sao Paulo. Therefore, if you go to Bar Fama and also frequent the saunas, there is a fair chance you will recognize some of the hustlers from the saunas. Also, many of the hustlers are the same ones that hustle in the nearby Republic park and/or the several cines that are nearby. Here is a link to the bar - http://famainflama.blogspot.com/ and another link to a Portuguese description of some of the activities of the bar - http://www.guiagaysaopaulo.com.br/1/est--bar-fama--103.htm Please be cautioned - Bar Fama is not at all like being in one of the saunas. The building is small and when there are lots of people there, it can be uncomfortable especially when the loud drag queens do their howling, I mean singing. If you happen to reach an agreement with one of the garotos, there are no rooms to rent on the premises. However, there are several hourly hotels within a short distance of the bar. Or, depending on the situation, and if you feel comfortable with the garoto, you can take him back to your hotel, if your hotel allows visitors. Some nights at the bar are good (lots of garotos) while other nights are awful (dead - fraco). It is similar to how the saunas get "bad" nights and "good" nights. I do not recommend making a special trip to visit this hustler bar - it is too unpredictable (many customers versus very few customers). However, if you happen to be in Sao Paulo and are up late and are staying in the downtown area, it might be fun to stop in - you might have fun.1 point

Aside from the sauna scenes, I have always been enriched when with locals and participate in their activities. This is what I experienced when I visited Salvador {Bahia} Brasil. ...my guide took me on my own planned tours; he also invited me to join friends at a special party. What an eye opener in terms of how the Brasilians, as a whole, tend to party and socialize!1 point

Wonderful thank you. I have watched you work, and you are a wizard with the boys as your Portuguese is amazing. I wish I was 1 percent as fluent and I do think this makes a big difference. How do you say: Get me off quick and you'll have time for more customers? That might make them happy to know I can be in and out in less than 5 min if they are really good.1 point

My best friend's ex is being a great host. Had two days of regular tourist activity, one of them is an all day beach trip. While Rio's beaches are easy on the eyes, they are mostly for walking and people watching, not great for swimming due to pollution, strong currents and waves. We went to two rather deserted beaches 2.5 hours drive from São Paulo, finally had a couple swims in the ocean. Today is a free day, after 3 days break, looking forward to visiting saunas again. Hit Fragata around 5:15 as I remember the place starts a little early than Lagoa. It's still pretty quiet, a dozen boys inside, none stands out. Sat at a good spot watching boy parade, not much happens until 6pm, still rather slow. And the body search for boys is still in place, they would go in a curtained out area to get searched by a big black dude. I started to think perhaps I should bail at 6:30 and go to Lagoa instead. Still slow at 6:30, but as I got up to check out, a pair of decent looking boys walked in, not exactly must have good looking, but good enough to get my hopes up again. Decided to stay. About 7 now, the parade picks up pace a little, in walking a very nice looking light skinned boy, curly hair, slim, compact and gorgeous face. Glad I stayed. Caught the boy's eyes later after he checked in and changed. He had some spots on his lips, and apologizes for can't French kiss. I probably should have given up then, but his hugs and little touches are endearing, the completely smooth body overpowered my instinct. After he confirmed he would go passivo, I decided to go with him anyways, he only asked for 80. Got a suite, rather looking forward to the fun time. Turns out the boy probably is desperate for money and overstated his versatility. His ass is so tight, he can't even take a finger all the way. He admitted sheepishly after we tried several times unsuccessfully that he doesn't like to get fucked. So this is a rather disappointing encounter. Well, so cheap anyways. As I went to take shower, I noticed a new cute dark boy went into the steam room, would totally check him out if I haven't finished tonight. Walked around a little before leaving, there were more new faces since I went upstairs. Another dark boy is also quite interesting. Not a bad night. got a dinner party to go to tomorrow, I consider it the price to pay for two wonderful days with my paulista friend. probably can't hit sauna again until Sunday. Fragata is having a party on Sunday. So I likely won't get to Lagoa until next week. Wonder what I have missed.1 point

So far 75 years seems to be the absolute max life span for a commie regime with the average being some considerably less, so keep the faith, RA1. It always struck me as odd that same folks who intuitively understood that state socialism was not a viable economic model (not to mention a nasty system to live under) were the most passionately convinced that the only way to get rid of one was to attack it hammer and tong. Interestingly enough, a tong is one of those pincer looking thingies on the upper left. Who knew?1 point

It is no fun getting lost in any city, especially a city like Sao Paulo. For other readers who might visit Fragata or if you use the Metro again (instead of the bus), and if you get lost, just ask any Brazilian you pass while walking "where is MacDonald's?" That is a landmark often used to locate less known places (like Fragata). Also, in addition to the tall MacDonald's sign, there is another large and tall sign for Banco Itau (the bank with the large ugly orange painted building) which is another landmark very close to Fragata. Both MacDonald's and Bank Itau are near the corner of Reboucas and Enrique Schaumann. From there, Fragata is just a little walk. If you locate either one of these landmarks, getting to Fragata is easy. Here is a link to the map that shows the aerial view of the metro station in relation to the location of Fragata. https://www.google.com.br/maps/place...c8e1977879a092 This information will be helpful for future visits to Fragata. -1 point
