That may be what it has come to in the end, but initially, it was started to try to leverage the mid 6 figures that Hooboy made yearly from the site. That was the initial thrust when Daddy tried to just confiscate the original domain name from Hooboy. That did not work out like he wanted as I had access and I locked him out to let Hoo's estate determine the fate of the site. That did not work out as I planned as I wanted Hoo's boyfriend to get the site. I didn't realize the family was a bunch of homophobic twats whose religion allowed them to make money for a few years and then just close the site. But, in the beginning, Daddy was not trying to just meet him boys. He had Richy Rich on his mind.5 points

Yes, the escorting world has changed. There were many services that paid Hoo for advertisments. I owned one of them. The rates were high but well worth it. It was the only game in town and everytime we got a review, we had 10 new customers. There was really nothing else going on other than Rentboy and Executive Male Escorts. There was no other forum but Hoo's. The name back then was male4malescort.com or something like that. When the estate shut it down, daddy started his own version of the site but not under the original name that was owned by the estate and then they renewed it for years in advance so no one would ever get it.2 points

1. Check out the website listed as there were prices on it for heart surgery and some other procedures. 2. No, I doubt it as traffic is horrible. 3. Yes and No. Bangkok Pattaya is great and I love it and use it when there and swear by it. It is really great. Some would say it is just a money making machine but that is the reason it is there. My dentist is there and I always go to see her when in Thailand.2 points

Learn Basic Portuguese

I am not aware of a thread that discusses terms for use in Rio saunas. However, there might be some phrases posted on the site. I assume this will be your first trip to Rio. If you have read the postings in this site, you know that Rio currently has only two “rent boy” saunas. I assume that you will be visiting one of the saunas and that is why you want to learn “bathhouse Portuguese” As one who has traveled more than one hundred times to Brazil, let me offer a little comfort for you in knowing that it really does not matter that you do not speak Portuguese for visiting rent boy saunas. I know that seems difficult to believe, but it is so. Countless visitors to Brazil’s rent boy saunas speak little to no Portuguese. Few, if any, have a problem despite not knowing the language or even a few phrases. Let me suggest that after you enter one of the saunas, you not allow the first garoto (rent boy) who approaches you to convince you to go to a private room with him. Before you go alone in a room with a garoto, first get settled in at the sauna and look around a while. When you feel comfortable after a “walk through” of the sauna, you should change into sauna attire. You will be furnished with a locker key (and number) plus a couple of towels and shower clogs when you enter the sauna. As I said above, even though it seems difficult to believe, despite your not knowing any Portuguese, you will still be able to negotiate with garotos. Most of them are really nice guys and are not difficult - most are very friendly even if it is only through smiling and body language. The only thing that I caution is that once you begin a “somewhat” conversation with a garoto, be certain that you both understand the agreed price for the encounter. One simple way to confirm the monetary agreement is to take a piece of paper and write down the agreed amount. That way, there will not be any misunderstandings after you and the garoto leave the private room. There are some terms that I could tell you but you really don’t need them. There might be other posters who read your question and my response and might offer to list specific and graphic phrases for you. You said you will be visiting Rio next month, which is summer time in Rio. The weather will be great for beaches but the saunas will be hot. Have a great trip.2 points -
I was only there for one night as I flew in late at night and the boys had to get to the city the next morning to meet me before we headed to the beach for 2 weeks. I have stayed in this hotel many times and always enjoyed it. The hotel was full and so they told me my regular room was unavaible so they upgraded me to the Royal Suite for free. I loved it. Huge TV. Amazing decor. Big room. The Executive Lounge was excellent and the breakfast buffet was wonderful. I loved the Xmas decorations there. I had a doctors appointment early the next morning and told the front desk that I had two guests traveling to meet me and they said no problem. I left and did my errands and the hotel gave them both a key and they relaxed while I ran my errands. I chose the hotel as they gave us a 4PM checkout time and I had multiple errands to do in the city and did not want to be rushed. I made it back to the hotel at 3:30 just in time to pack and leave for the beach. The Intercontinental Hotel is beautiful and they have never given me an issue with having guys in the room or even guests. The first night there, I was all alone so I jumped on Grindr and there was a cute guy from Singapore 200 feet away and we chatted and he said he just liked giving head. I told him to come to my room. He did and we did and he left and I slept like a baby. This hotel is also very convenient to shops and dining and across the street there is a wonderful Starbucks which I love to get my day started! The BF actually went there, bought a mug for me and told me it was my Xmas gift. I laughed as I knew it was bought across the street and not even wrapped. LOL But, it was a sweet and kind gesture. I really like this hotel and love the fact that even though I have not stayed there for a while that the staff remembers me and that they make sure I am well taken care of.2 points

Thailand is a great place for medical tourism. The hospitals are clean and staffed with American trained doctors. They are quick and professional and cheap. They also cater to customer service and make sure you feel taken care of. In Bangkok, try: Bumrungrad https://www.bumrungrad.com/ The hospital is amazing. I went in yesterday to get my high blood pressure prescription filled. I was in and out in less than 1 hour. I had refills ready, blood checked and tested and test results done, prescriptions filled and in a bag waiting for me. I also had prescriptions for sleeping (Ambian and Valium) as well as my testosterone medication refilled. It is so quick and so easy to do things there and so cheap. Years back, I had a friend had a stent put in there. He had a great experinece. So, did I as his caregiver. I was there with him and I told my family if I ever get sick for anything, I want to be flown to Thailand to have any procedures and I meant it. I do have Blue Cross / Blue Shield which covers this but you have to pay out of pocket and get reimbursed. But, for something major like heart surgery, they work with BC/BS and work out billing for you. I truly, I have seen better hospitals anywhere in the world and that includes the USA and Canada and UK. Thailand rocks for medical care!1 point

Yes, I have had some different experiences from what you mentioned in the material above. During the mid 2000s, I hired escorts from agencies which were then at http://www.netgay.com.br. All of my experiences were pleasing and quite satisfactory. In 2008 a friend of mine who could speak some Brasilian Portuguese or some Espanol hired for me from an ad at the site mentioned. The guy was half Italian and Brasilian and gave me a truly, truly memorable time inside of my hotel room. I gave him his fee along with a tip. Afterwards, he and I walked to the beach to meet his Italian amigo. I met his friend and stayed for a while to converse; the escort left us. During our conversation the Italian guy told me that the escort felt bad because he did not have change to return to me; he did not know that I had given him the additional R$s for a tip. He was soooooooooooo damn good! When I was in Rome in 2010, I saw the same guy after requesting my female tour representative to contact him. , but the time that he showed me was NOT as stellar as the one to which he'd given me in Rio de janeiro]. All in all I'll remember this beauty and gorgeously hung chap who knew how to please one who'd been "slightly starved!"1 point

Florida Democrats think that opening to Cuba will give them a pathway into the Cuban American voting bloc. ==== Personally I think the Moss Back leadership in Miami (who were the among the first to bail out of Cuba) are not only willing to inflict pain on ordinary Cubans to further their obsession with the Castro brothers, they want to injure regular Cubans. 1) They figure the worse the better; the more miserable they can make the Cuban populace, the sooner the Castros will go. 2) This never gets said aloud but there's a class difference between the exile leaders and the vast majority of those still living in Cuba. I suspect that even before the Revolution the professional, industrial, commercial and landowning class that fled Castro despised the working and peasant farmer class Cubans that stayed behind. And now they hate them; they blame ordinary Cubans for putting Castro in power in the first place. So it's not a question of collateral damage to ordinary Cubans from the embargo, they were the bulls-eye on the target from the git-go. It will be interesting to see if recognizing the Cuban government and moving toward open trade will flush the geezers out into the open on the rationale for the embargo. I mean get real folks, does anyone really think Raul or Fidel or any other big wig in the military or party in Cuba is counting his pennies or worried about feeding his kids? Or is it the case that the Moss-backs won't budge unless & until they get back their haciendas and factories and rightful place at the top in Cuba?1 point

I have heard that there are various levels of health care, ranging from poor to excellent, though the cost does go up with the levels. So my questions would be. 1. is that true, and what are the aprox costs for health care that would compare to the US, like say a Blue Cross.? 2. In an emergency, do ambulances respond in a timely mannner? 3. Can you get the same level of health care in pattaya as you do in Bangkok? In light of the recent coup, can Americans still own property?. And do you feel the govt is still relatively stable? Thanks for any and all information.1 point

Miss Stevie, one would think as a new participant here you would try to acclimate yourself in a friendly, non-confrontational manner ? But you apparently havent chosen that route as you have resorted to the Draker technique of pvt message for harrasssment, the SAME harrassment you say you endured over at Daddy's. Well I dont appreciate it coming from YOU..... You sent me a message which questioned a PUBLIC post I made, to which I gave a polite reply, which you did NOT agree with, and your response then is "DEAR ME, you are just like all the rest of them"..... and then you delete me.... Seems you are more like Draker than you care to admit, huh bloke ? Well my dear, you certainly havent made a good First impression, and I wont lose any sleep of being deleted by you, but I must tell you sir, you have chosen the WRONG person to FUCK WITH ! You have sought asylum HERE..... you need US, we dont need YOU, or your constant whining about being mistreated and un-supported by Daddy & Co.1 point

To Wayout's most excellent list, I'll add one more reason people might not come to the defense of someone in a flame war on an anonymous website: It's ineffective at best, and incendiary at worst. In a decade of infesting these sites, I've never once seen a response to a troublemaker, directly or indirectly, bring anything but more trouble. The only thing I've ever seen work is complete indifference to the miscreant. There's just nothing worse for someone looking to stir the pot than to find the pot completely empty. So I find it a bit puzzling that folks still think the way to end a flame war is to add a few more flames, if not their own then some borrowed from a so-called defender. If someone can link to a single thread where that approach has worked, I'll gladly admit the error of my ways. I can find threads, lots of them, where someone who's been attacked turns around and attacks the attacker. That's fine, but it serves a different purpose from bringing an end to the conflict. It may make the counter-attacker feel more powerful, it may release some testosterone, and it may provide some entertainment for those who enjoy a train wreck. But it won't end the kerfuffle. Not permanently, anyway, though it will for the duration of the inevitable time out. Personally, if someone gets a kick out of prolonging a state of war on a website, I'm not about to get in his way. In my earlier days, I tried suggesting disengagement as a way to end the hostilities, but I can't think of a single case when the advice was taken. So, rather than turn into a nudge, I figure benign bemusement remains my best bet.1 point

I've always enjoyed Martha Stewart and can't think of anyone else who would tackle a gingerbread Downton. Gum paste aside, it was fun to fantasize foraging the facade from foyer to finials. That is, until I read that she attached the latter with wire. Feh! Julia Child sure wouldn't have done it. I've been through The Joy of Cooking cover-to-cover and never saw 'wire' listed as an ingredient. Wine, certainly. Even woodchuck. But not wire. Definitely glad I didn't follow up on my initial impulse to ask la Stewart to whip up a mouthwatering meringue of Jimmy the Footman, complete with a luscious lobber. Lord knows what she'd have done with that.1 point

It already has been deleted, which means of course that Mr. Draker is already coming up the driveway with bags in hand, looking for a room to rent no doubt. Maybe I should put on a whole pot of tea, at this late hour. :frantics:1 point
