  1. More likely Jesus was trying to send a threatening message to TomCal. Either get back down here pronto and spend some of his money attempting to save some of his Carioca disciples, or he might send a lightening bolt to the end of TomCal's dick and burn it off!

  2. Agree 100%, ihpguy. And the thrill is enhanced as you walk out over the falls, and you see to your right an incomplete walkway that is higher - and which bears a notice (in Spanish only) that it was closed after part of it was washed away by the strength of the waters!

  3. My mom and sister took that older walkway in the early 90's. It was a much slower trek getting out to the end at that time. Something anyone should keep in mind if planning a trip to Iguacu is to check on the strength/height of the Rio Parana. When the level is lower/weaker, not quite as impressive.

  8. It may not be necessary for a would be terrorist to unleash a deadly plague. Pols are quite capable of this. Best regards, RA1

  9. Not to worry, AS. My money is on some Unibomber type with a PhD in molecular biology to figure out a way to reduce the human enviromental footprint by 70/80% well before 2030. Picture pneumatic antibiotic resistant plague squirted all over Heathrow Airport over a busy week. Problem solved!

  10. There is not much more exciting in this world than taking the long walkway over the falls on the Argentinian side and looking right down into the Devil's Throat.

  11. Trzinko, I liked your 'Don't ask me which side is better, probably the one you see first!" I agree with how you responded because both sides are truly spectacular. I was there sometime before 2010. ...liked the experience very much, but if I were to do it again, I'd rather be traveling with a partner or two. I did not like this particular trip or place as a solo traveler, but I loved the falls and the hotel in which I stayed. The hotel was on the Brasiian side right in the park itself. ...outstanding natural beautry reign supreme! Was asked by my guide who had been hired via my late carioca travel agent if I'd wanted to go to a sauna; I declined the offer because I'd wanted to enjoy "the boys" in Rio which was my next stop on this trip. ...had a Brasil pass during this particular trip, so I was able to experience a lot of Brasil. Keep on enjoying and experiencing and updating us when you get the opportunity!!!
