  1. No need to apologize. You may have read when I said I find something good about every place I visit but that does not mean there are not inadequacies or problems with each and every one. So far, I have not found a place enough "better" than the MEM area to make me consider moving. Places that have friends or family are always attractive and any new place holds my interest. in other words I can make do wherever I happen to be although I am not jumping up and down to go to some places. The Middle East comes to mind. Also, somewhat different from a lot of folks, I leave MEM and any where else I happen to be after a short while. One year I was only in MEM about 60 days. Some folks may find this hard to understand but, for me, the goal isn't the destination but the journey. After I have been anywhere, LAS, SEA, SAN, BGR, ORD, LGA, CYUL, CYVX, AKL, SYD or thousands of other places for a few days, I am ready to move on. So long as I can travel, where I live is for a postal address and not necessarily a whole lot more. Best regards, RA1

  2. I hate overexerting my grey matter. Re-setting all the circuit breakers is a pain. Then I have to start drinking again. Best regards, RA1

    Zora Neale Hurston

Today's Google doodle reminds it's the birthday of Zora Neale Hurston. Her novel Their Eyes Were Watching God ravished my heart away the first time I read it. The opening alone... Ships at a distance have every man’s wish on board. For some they come in with the tide. For others they sail forever on the horizon, never out of sight, never landing until the Watcher turns his eyes away in resignation, his dreams mocked to death by Time. That is the life of men. Now, women forget all those things they don’t want to remember, and remember everything they don’t want to forget. The dream is the truth. Then they act and do things accordingly.

  5. Or the high foreclosure rate? If you're moving in, this should be a plus because real estate is cheap!

  6. Shouldn't have mentioned how much I paid raul. Didn't mean to ruffle any feathers. Now the local authority has spoken about the price locals pay, keep a reference It's not surprising though for there to be a difference between locals and short term tourists. The opportunity cost for tourists are much higher with the flights and hotel cost. Therefore the extra 20r in the sauna or 150r for the night seems trivial. There is also a big difference between fucking and making love. Most of the times with boys in the sauna, it's like eating a big-Mac burger. Quickly heal you your hunger, then you move on not giving it a second thought. Occasionally, however, you met a boy who has not become completely jaded yet, there are tender kisses and sincere eye contact. It's not love, just love making. Only Then I will do an overnight. On Those occasions, I don't mind at all paying a premium. Most of the time we eat combo meals. Then sometimes, we dine out. My plan with Raul falls through since there is no double room left in the hotel. While the day shift lady is super nice, I just pay them extra 20 for my guest, the night shift manager speaks English, but clearly not fond of visitors. On my first night here, she told me since I booked a room for 'single person', I can only meet my guest in the lobby! We decided to do a repeat of two hour session tomorrow since he has to go to his job early on Thursday. So I went to fragata after all at 5:45. Man, I have been looking for the twink parade at the wrong sauna! There are already 20+ boys working! and 3/4 of them are the slim twinks type! Skin tone here is a little darker, but there are quite a few cute white boys too. I am pleasantly surprised with the choices here if you been to Montreal strip clubs, it's like fragata is campus (toned, slim), Lagoa is stock (built, muscle). I made a quick mistake sitting down with Thiago. He is cute, but clearly the jaded type. quite forward, he quickly led my hands to his dick and sampled kisses and stuff. I always feel obligated if I have kissed a boy. And he is turning me on. He saw me checking out other boys passing by, after some begging and promising 'completo, todo', he checked my key number and went getting the room himself. It's a little rude, but I guess so was I being the sampler but no buyer So be it, a burger is a burger Afterwards, I stayed for a while just checking things out, there are at least two other boys, one white, one dark skinned, that I would have preferred. Hopefully they will be here again on Thursday. This place seems happening earlier than Lagoa, it's already packed by 5:45 when I arrived. About a dozen more boys arrived since and some boys and customers are leaving already by 7pm. There doe not seem to be much overlapping between the two places. I don't think I recognized any Lagoa boys here. Now I know where I would be before heading to airport Thursday night
