  1. Waiting at EZE for flight to FTE for Patagonia hiking. They have free wifi here. Spent yesterday afternoon at Lagoa until 7:30pm, it's been a year since my last visit. How nice to come back. Watching new faces coming in continuously after 4pm. However, my type is the clean cut college boy next door type, not many fits the bill. By 5:30, this dark slim boy from São Paulo chatted me up. He seems clean and friendly, I like his smooth slim body. So we went upstairs. It was not bad, but I've had better. A decent start. A little after 6, the place is now packed. Easily 30+ boys. Well, no strike out for me yet. Then at 6:30, Daniel came in. This is the tall slim white boy I had some fun with 2 years ago. He is more tanned now, defined chest and light six pack abs. I wish I had waited a little longer however, he is occupied immediately with some regular clients, and soon disappeared Having to leave at 7:30 to catch a flight, it's not meant to be wish He will still be here first week of January when I come back. Stayed a little longer just to see who else comes in. Lot of new faces, but no one else beats Daniel. Wish I could stay longer, but gotta go as it's 7:30. Nature time in Patagonia until Christmas. Then will be back in Brazil including POA and São Paulo. Also will spend a few days in Curitiba, but it's mid week during New Years there, so don't expect much. Will post if something interesting happens.

  2. I think this case argues strongly for double testing of blind samples. By that I mean two different lab techs evaluating the same sample from an unknown subject. Neither tech would know who they are evaluating. More costly but then what will be the cost of cleaning this mess up with so many tainted cases to be reviewed and dispensed with? The government ought to spend whatever it takes to get results right, reliably. Relying on the honesty of individuals leads to occasional failures with potentially very high costs. Another example is provided by the med tech druggie who recycled needles he used for his drugs that infected scores of people with Hepatitis C in a NH hospital. I believe he ran up that score in the midwest before he was finally caught and sentenced to 38 years in prison. It is a simple fact that certain individuals in critical jobs will fail to live up to their responsibilities that put others at risk.

    Holiday doldrums...

My real life involves dashing off to NYC on the spur of the moment for the aircraft owner's personal reasons. He has a child who has developed cancer and will seek the "best" advice. Not a pleasant prospect for the holidays but having money to develop a "game" plan is nice. This will not prevent me from reading and perhaps posting on this site. In fact, lounging around the NY area might provide more time to redevil myself. New word. Regardless, happy holidays to all. Best regards, RA1

  5. AS- You must wear out your fingers seeking these "informative situations". I have to say that I enjoy them all. Of course, several shots of 80 proof always eases the way. Best regards, RA1

  6. There once was a conference room at the Piper factory that had "sliding" signs that said "yep" and "nope". Best regards, RA1

AS- Now you have put salamander licking in whole new light. In addition to your stated musings, how would a more modern version of PM play today with all those young attorneys joining the firm? Surely it would be more interesting than just adding new characters. Best regards, RA1

Obviously, both of my esteemed fellow posters have forgotten the LA Law episode where the protagonist licked salamanders for the "physic" effect. Best regards, RA1

Kissing a frog is an act of faith sanctified by tradition and much celebrated in Western culture for hundreds of years. By contrast, licking a salamander is just perverse and nasty.

What happened to the salamanders of TN? They need to be licked also. Best regards, RA1

LOL, I was trying to make it an inside joke, AS, so it's on you that the whole board now knows. sample deleted lines: "You could start with AS." or (my personal favorite; indirect & literary yet accessible, faintly redolent with the hormone laced fragrance of secondary school where first encountered.) "Barkis is willing."
