Visited Thermas a few weeks ago on Saturday and Sunday. I was not disappointed. The renovations have modernized the facilities, from locker rooms to snack bar to cubicles. There were lots of rentboys of all shapes, sizes and colors on Saturday afternoon/early evening. Most from South America, but some from Africa and Eastern Europe. Many twinks and muscle guys, most of whom advertise in GayRomeo. Poax remains one of my favs there. He is handsome, muscular, versatile and loves to kiss. He can play all roles and makes you feel that he is totally into you and your scene for the 30 minutes you have him. Amazing guy. Also saw DiegoModelo there. Very handsome guy from Brazil. His pics don't do him justice but...he can be a hustler. The going rate is 50E for 20-30 minutes. He wanted 200E but quickly went down to 50E with negotiation. Others seen at Thermas were Alejandro (great beefy bod) and Donato (very tall and ripped bodybuilder). Unfortunately, I didn't have the time or stamina to meet with all of them Returned on Sunday. Much quieter than Saturday but I was able to find a Polish guy and a Brazilian to satisfy my muscle needs. Both left a smile on my face and don't advertise of GayRomeo. This sauna continues to draw amazing men to their locker rooms!

That was my understanding as well. Not so much a sauna scene as a street scene.

Well, yesterday I returned to California after being away for a month, beginning in Berlin and ending with five days in Barcelona, a city in which I fell in love and consider it to be one of two others of my favorites: Rio and San Francisco. I do plan to return. Wish I could be more positive and upbeat about the Thermas Sauna where I found myself on Sunday eve on the 13th of October 2013. As the writer before me wrote-- the venue looks great although too dim for my eyes. Because I did not desire to wear the usual attire of a friggin' towel but chose to dawn a dark t shirt and boxers, after being there for almost an hour, I was asked to change. Instead of my yielding to the man's request, I redressed and left, leaving behind the few guys who had approached me earlier and possibly others who were to enter after 7P. Too bad because I principally viewed the offerings and said "no" to the four guys who'd approached me immediately upon their spotting this "newbie". If you do not mind wearing a towel over a body that is not in its stellar condition, then go there and enjoy! I did what I've done during my last four of nine visits to the saunas in Rio de janeiro where I've had NO PROBLEM at all wearing my t and boxers and my own good flip flops! Guess this sauna will NOT be seeing me again!

So went out last night. Started with dinner at Ambience which was fair. Wished I had gone to Cafe Fellini on Soi 3 where the Italian food is quite good. But was there when all the boys from Boys Boys Boys came out and lined up on the terrace of which their is a photo below. First stop after dinner was FunnyBoys which as usual had a varied and excellent line up with quite a few new faces since July.. Then I wanted to give Wild West Boys another chance. A complete waste of space with 2 boys and no customers and it will be my last visit there. They should close the doors. Decided to stop at ABomb which I rarely visit and was pleasantly surprised with some very nice looking boys including some muscle. The 2 photos below are two boys from ABomb and there were some other equally good looking ones. May have to add them to my stops if they keep having such quality. Then it was on to the show at COPA. Don't get tricked into arriving for a 1030pm start. It starts out with 2 boys swimming in the tank and after 5 minutes of repetition of the same moves, you just want it to end. But it lasts 15 minutes. But it gets worse after that they bring out the line up of GoGo staff which IMHO is about as unattractive boys that I have ever seen. This lasts for 20 minutes and then they start the Cabaret Show. Be warned to arrive close to 11pm and not 1030 pm. Cabaret show is quite good with many costumes and some very good dancing and lip synch work. There were also some stunner boys in the show.. I don't whether they come out on stage as GoGo Boys after the show but they would certainly appeal to me. I left a few minutes before the end of the show because after 65 minutes in 1 bar I was sick of it. I would definitely go back but would arrive close to 11pm That was it for the night. I saw quite a bit of muscle in the line up of Boy Boys Boys and both FunnyBoys and ABomb had some . By the way I had to give the last 2 boys 100 baht each for the photos. What I won't do fo you guys.. HeHeHe

This is why we can't have nice things. The fawning over escorts and the silencing of legitimate criticisms about Daddy's pets at the other site go way to far, but I hate that we seem to strive to go the other way here. Every escort who tries to participate, it's my impression anyway, gets run off by bitchy queens. Yes, a lot of us don't agree with what ParisRio is asking about, but can't we be civil? Help to shape the way he goes about things more to our liking instead of the "you're not exactly perfect for my tastes so fuck you" way of "conversing"...
