  3. Good gosh! I've been reluctant to post since AdamSmith said number 1917 is inauspicious, but this is important enough to take a chance on something awful happening. To post an image, the first thing you do is find the image you want and copy its URL. Then you click on that little TV-like icon in the lower-middle of the posting tool bar. Paste the image URL in the window that pops up and click OK. You've posted a picture. Now I just hope AdamSmith was wrong about 1917 being a bad number to use on a post.

  4. Your memory is pretty good. Here is what he actually said which is very close to what your memory recalled: "One way of looking at this might be that for 42 years, I've been making small, regular deposits in this bank of experience, education and training. And on January 15 the balance was sufficient so that I could make a very large withdrawal."

  7. I found PV to be very safe. The downtown area seems to be a no-go zone for locals unless they have a job there or other valid reason to be there. Everyone spoke English- fluently! It was almost like being in a Disney version of Mexico. Be sure to go to the site of the Taylor-Burton film cum romance. It's pretty neat and is an easy bus ride away.

  8. For me, the real story isn't so much the Republicans as it is the Koch Brothers and their ilk. And, if I were a leader in the Democratic Party, I'd be singing it from the rafters. Find me a piece of mean-spirited, undemocratic legislation anywhere in the U. S., and I'll find you a trail to the Heritage Foundation and les Fréres Koch. The Tea Party whackjobs are their pawns, the ones who actually block democracy in Congress, and I'm not saying they're not willing pawns. But the strings are being pulled by the Koch suckers. This article in yesterday's New York Times shows how they're doing it for repeal of the Affordable Healthcare Act, and yet most Americans haven't a clue. Why the DNC isn't on the air 24/7 with this info is beyond me.

  10. It just keeps raining here. But there is a break in the clouds right now at 814pm so I may take a chance and head out. I am starting to have Cabin Fever even if I keep filling the cabin with tasty morsels like pictured below. Life is tough in Thailand. No where else in the world can you be stuck in your room and order up your hearts desire from the Gay Romeo menu and have the choice of at least 50 ,24 hours a day.

  12. He suits my pedophilic tendencies but you know he has applied several more square yards of skin ink since this pic was taken. I have nothing against tats but I like there to be at least a little bit more bare skin than ink showing.

  14. Thanks for posting this AS. A very interesting, educational and enjoyable read. One gets some important insights into the man and his love of the Church without being oblivious to the realities it faces. I continue to be optimistic that he will make an even greater positive difference in the future.

    Sharing the mattress

I am not much of a cuddler. I much prefer to sleep alone. That does not mean I do. When in Thailand, BF 1 always sleeps with me. He is a cuddler. I can't sleep well with someone wrapped around me. So, I bought some of those long pillows and put them in the bed. I'll let him cuddle for a few minutes and then let him use the pillow the rest of the night. It works well for both of us.
