  1. My trip started Monday with a flight from Atlanta to Seattle. Seattle has become my departure airport for many reasons. 1. I don't like flight legs of over 9 hours and Seattle has the shortest legs to and from Tokyo. Westbound is usually 9 1/4 hours and Eastbound is frequently under 8 hours. This is quite a bit shorter then flights out of LAX. 2. Seattle airport is easy to get around and the transportation is sett up well. I always spend the night in Seattle in both directions. 3. Customs and Immigration is fabulous. Never had more then 10 minute wait (maybe I am lucky) and always a nice welcome home . A pleasure compared to Detroit, Los Angeles , JFK etc. This was my first flight on the new 787 with ANA. First impressions were loved the big windows with the automatic sun shades and the staggered seating in Business Class. I had a window seat so quite enjoyable on departure over the snow covered mountains and ocean. Service on ANA is exemplary. Asian Flight Attendants put the USA to shame. Food was good if a little to fancy for my taste. Had a 2 hour layover in Tokyo and the ANA Lounge is really nice and again puts the United and DL lounges to shame. Arrived into Bangkok at 1030pm and there were no lines at Customs and my Bag was off in 5 minutes. Walked down to Door 3 where my driver was waiting and arrived Pattaya at 1230 am. Now after 2 months in the USA, even as tired as I am I want some cute Thai Boy to put me to sleep. My two favorites from last trip are out of town so I went to my favorite GayRomeo site and 15 minutes later found a good possibility. He arrived my room 30 minutes later and let me take the one photo. He was just what I needed and fell asleep for 8 hours which happens about once a year for me. My apartment is next to the biggest Mall in Pattaya so at noon I headed out to change some money and get a few things. The photos start off with the Little Temple for prayer at the corner of the Mall. Then the entrance from Pattaya 2 Road and into a 7 Level Mall. It has about anything you need and a lot of restaurants and banks, massage, dentists, banks, movie theaters etc. The Mall is served by 2 main Roads . The Pattaya 2 Road and on the other side Beach Road. Beach Road so called because it follows along the Beach. There are some very nice restaurants in the Mall with outside Decks where you can look at the action on the water and maybe along the beach. hehe The Mall can be a great place to meet boys although I was there a little to early . Later in the day there will be cute Thai Boys where ever you look and sometimes a smile will get you more then you can imagine. Doubt I'll go out tonight but will hit some of the Bars in BoysTown tomorrow and report.

  2. After a homophobic mom kicked her young son out of the house after finding out he was GAY, the boys Grandfather came to his rescue and support by taking him in, and then writing to chastise HIS heartless daughter for her unspeakable acts. EVERY gay person should have a Grand-dad like this. He illustrates how families SHOULD act, and show us what unconditional LOVE is. You ROCK Grandpa.......

    Back in Thailand

When talking SE Asia, I think everybody sees the airfare and stops. When you start figuring out how much hotels, food, boys cost, you realize it's not nearly as expensive as you thought it would be. You talk $50.00 for lap dance in Montreal or Fla. Well that same 50 will get you an overnight in Bangkok. Lucky your right about March being hot. But I retired to Ft.Lauderdale a year ago, and I'm getting used to the heat and humidity. I have been to Bangkok 3 times this year and the weather hasn't bothered me as much as in the past. March is the only time I can get a long period of away. I'm staying for 30 days and have rented a condo. Firecat is right, it's a very easy place to go alone. I tend to be on the shy side. But the boys are easier to meet than anywhere I've been before. They have great memories also. You meet them this year and they remember you next year

Well my love, then you need to get RID of your furniture. How hard can it be to replace a futon and bonsai tree ?

Obviously AS recognizes this kind of thinking but that is not surprising, is it? Best regards, RA1

  7. One of the easiest places to go alone. So much information on this site and members that are willing to answer questions. Basic English spoke many places .. Unlike some countries there are established ranges for tips to the boys so you don't have to feel that you will get ripped off. Hotels are all considerably less then USA or Montreal when comparing equally rated Hotels. Transportation ridiculously cheap by USA standards. If you live on the West Coast the airfare will the same or less then a flight to Europe and possibly even Brazil. East coast is a little more but not bad. The only downside is the length of the flights and there is just not much you can do about that. Suggest you go to www.gaythailand.com for lots of information, photos etc.

    Where Is FourAces?

Well, if you click my name above and then 'Posts' you'll notice that I've shared some of my thoughts with you twice today - thrice, counting this one. You might also want to double-check your 'ignore' list just to see if you'd be willing to let some of us back inside the rope again. PS: I'll also add that I miss FourAces. It's not easy becoming attached to a favorite poster who may up and disappear for a spell. I was sure happy to see MsGuy come back after a few months away, and AdamSmith after a few days. And there's a fatted calf waiting for FourAces when he next stops in.

  10. Referring to the female pilots as gals is likely to get you castrated. Or maybe just sent to sensitivity training.

    Back in Thailand

Firecat, glad to see that you are back in Pattaya and contributing to the local economy. Rest up so that you can tie yourself out with the boys! Planetime, if you can do Thailand in march, more power to you. I was there once in early March and thought that I was surely going to melt right onto the sidewalk. Too hot for me! But April is apparently worse. I like to go in December or January when it is a teensy bit cooler at night.
