  1. P.S. Hah! My writing something by hand is an unbreakable way to encrypt it. Including from myself.

    When the mighty fall...

I thought this might be a version of the "windy story" in England. An English gentleman is walking down the street and observes a young lass whose skirt is blown up by the wind revealing that she is not wearing undergarments. The English gentleman says, a bit airy, isn't it? In a strong cockney accent she replies, what the 'ell did you expect, feathers? Best regards, RA1

    Threads Moved

There are a few threads I have moved today as I got so tired of seeing them in the top threads and I also thought that both were getting a bit nasty for my tastes. I was told by one poster this week that I didn't know the word nasty and I may have higher sensitivities than most. I agree with that as it is one of my flaws. PLEASE, show curtsey to other members on this site. If this is not possible, please do not post on those threads. We do hate to loose members but we much prefer a site of gentlemen than mean girls. This is not directed at 99 percent of our members. But, if you think it is you, you may be right. Please show respect to others. Please be kind. Please do not continue to post nasty shit about the other site. We leave those threads up for a bit when we feel they are relevant but they usually turn into nasty posts with hurt feelings. Please do not discuss Benjamin Nichols on this board. Yes, I know that is asking a lot as we have one member who can be his twin (literally) trying to gain support for him and another member his nemesis trying to devour him like a fresh born vampire feeding for the first time. I don't guarantee that I'll remove posts about Ben on this board but I am likely to move them all to the Sandbox. (let me think about it for a few days and I'm sure I'll sleep my pissiness off) "Oz, why are you so mean today?" Well, I have had multiple emails and PMs and posts that were reported as problematic that I can't even smoke a bit of weed and enjoy my day (it is the Lord's day and I'm in Texas so I need to be buzzed). Jeeze, if there is no amount of medical marijuana that can cure this headache, I am hoping moving those threads to the Sandbox might cure it. If not, fuck it, I'll go find a cute twink and get a BJ but if I am buzzed when I do that, he might take advantage of me and I'd hate that to happen (or would I?). Look, we want participation here but we want positive discussions about topics and not bitch fests. If I wanted to read that, I also know what sites I can find that on (mentioning no names purposefully). Thank you all for your participation. Truly, we do appreciate it! (Read this post, catalog it as Oz is loosing it, and then laugh it off as that Bitch has had one nasty day. I'm sure he will be back to his normal perverted self tomorrow)

    Key Biscayne?

I'm looking to bed 2 boys this week. One lives in Miami (yuck) and the other in Ft Lauderdale. Neither are "escorts" proper. One is a happy with a little cash and nice hotels (Miami) and the other is happy with 500 per 24 hours (Lauderdale) and has only seen me so far. The Lauderdale boy is looking to be a "pocket listing" in the near future, as he doesn't wish to advertise on Rentboy, etc. More on this possibility at the end of the week for those that are interested in twinkish 27 year olds. Now, has anyone been to Key Biscayne? I hate South Beach, and am a bit tired of Ft Lauderdale. Opinions?

  6. As a general rule, I'd prefer my government to have fewer secrets, and to let me have more. It just feels a little cheerier somehow. The New Yorker ran an interesting article some years back, soon after 9/11, in which they contrasted Germany's views on government intelligence with our own, and noted that the Germans believed their government should be transparent to the citizenry, and the citizenry should be opaque to the government. They were reacting to the excesses of the Third Reich, of course, but it seemed like a pretty good formula to me. I worry about a government with a lot of secrets. First of all, there's the apparatus that needs to be put in place to make sure the secrets don't get out, and then there's the vulnerability that arises when they eventually do. And then the apparatus gets further hardened and a cycle continues that generally does not bode well for the masses. Another problem with secrets is who gets to decide that something's a secret and how they make that decision. Since it's a secret, we don't get to know the who, or the why, or the what. We just have to rely on faith that it's all good. And that's another trajectory that doesn't always make for happy landings. It's not clear, to me anyway, that someone in government who decides that something should be a secret is necessarily morally superior to someone outside of government who decides that it shouldn't. If we all start believing that government is the last word in moral superiority, then aren't we on our way to a dictatorship? And, finally, why should we take it as fact that exposing a government secret will necessarily cost human lives? Isn't it equally possible that exposing a government secret might save human lives? Bradley Manning's Wikileaks caused a lot of embarrassment, no doubt, but, in spite of the hue and cry, I haven't yet seen an analysis that his exposed secrets cost any more lives than they saved. In fact, I wonder what the body count would have been if the secret 'intelligence' that got us into the Iraq war had been exposed before Secretary of State Powell fired up the UN, rather than after. I guess, at this point, I have a lot more questions than answers. The only thing I'm fairly sure of is that the government has more resources for keeping secrets from me than I have for keeping secrets from it, even with guys like James Rosen 'conspiring' to level the playing field. Extra Credit Question: Why is it a 'conspiracy' when a citizen unlocks a government secret, but not when a government functionary locks it up in the first place?

  7. "One" indeed. The ambiguity is exquisite. ...Remember the old junior-high faggy-dog joke as it were that went "Are you one?" "Well, are you one?" and so on and on.

  11. Lingual, as in sublingual? Labial? I have to wonder what caverns or gutters you've been yelling echoes into? No disrespect intended. Amen, to your above. What difference does it make? I think we can all settle on 'communications' and maybe even 'conversation' if not in real time.

Perhaps you can read mine to me and I can read yours to you. I started printing memos to myself years ago and still can't read half of it. Best regards, RA1

  16. Great!! Fiddling around fixing your own food is so much fun, and gets to be more so, the more you do it. When I first started trying to cook I was terrified. But then it turned out to be fun, as I said, even when something went completely wrong. I was just cooking for myself at first so who cares? Like Julia said, "If you're alone in the kitchen and you drop the lamb, you can always just pick it up. Who's going to know?" Then too I realized the biggest labor of feeding myself is really leaving the house to get something. Once you're out, might as well go to the grocery, where there will be a lot more choices of yummy-looking things than the same-old same-old at Burger Bin. Keep us updated!

  17. That's great and well done....to paraphrase a well known saying: A journey of a thousand home cooked feasts begins with a single meal. If all else fails, get yourself a nice houseboy to do the cooking for you: or

  18. I have no problem at all. I simply do not read most posts about the other site as they do not interest me. Reminds of one my earlier posts at HooBoy's explaining to some who objected vehemently to his posting, that nobody strapped those guys into a chair, sewed their eyelids open and placed in front of them a computer monitor tuned to his forums, opened up on one of his posts. On the internet, I've never seen so many people complain of wet feet when all they had to do was step over a little puddle.

    When the mighty fall...

An awful lot of time is devoted to discussing another site here. It's like signing onto the Yankee site and receiving Red Sox updates.
