  1. The skit from last night's White House Correspondents Dinner wasn't too bad... http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=SCk-Z4ekLSc

  2. There were some specific reasons why Oz and I started this site and some had to do with the forum there. We saw management issues, policy issues, and atmosphere issues. We sought to do some things differently. We are happy with our alternative. Personally, I never wanted a wholesale co-opting of that forum in its entirety for this site. Too many issues and abrasive personalities. There were some great contributors that were desired. Some found their way here. For that we are thankful. I'm very happy with the quality of our contributors here and from the feedback, members seem to appreciate the management style, generally.

  3. We are always happy that so many of you came over to this site. We are elated that it was the Right Ones that came. Both TY and I have never liked drama too much. (well, there was this one hotel room I had in Montreal and TY was visiting and a group of escorts from NYC was there and we had just a tee bit of drama that was fun to watch) Thank you all for being such wonderful posters and members here.

  6. If you pay attention to the dynamics of that site, you will see it is a cliquey mentality, with a handful of regulars commandering the tone. Others will sit back and look to see who the "populars" are, and when those "pops" take on a cause or mission and attack another member, the wallflowers join them. Survival other there depends on which side of the fence you choose to be on. You either hop on the bandwagon or get driven away. Thats the way they LIKE and WANT it. The recent "heads will roll" comment by the mods shows a VERY controlling and manipulative attitude. I guess when you are a LOSER in your life, you seek out out strong personalities to align yourself with, and then feel you become Strong by association. The men over at Daddys may have a few bucks in their pocket, but they are spiritually POOR and dysfunctional, but seem to have found their niche on a site that GIVES them a voice they dont usually have.

  8. Have you read that there is a huge movement among the fans of One Direction to free the Boston Marathon bombing suspect because they are convinced he's innocent because he's cute and looks like a member of One Direction?

  9. To put an end to the question, I will volunteer to personally inspect Harry's penis (both flaccid and erect). As soon as I can arrange it I will report back the results.

    Site Issues and Speed

How I wish to believe this! But only when OZ comes on here personally and tells us that he has spent an hour creating a post only to have it disappear into thin air will I believe his suffering has been commensurate with ours. Thankfully, I have noticed the site getting quicker than it was last week. I also realize that when I've said the site was 'slow', I may have been misstating what's actually been going on for me. In truth, when a page actually starts to load, it seems pretty speedy. What's been different since the 'upgrade' is that some pages (down from most pages last week) just hang with the progress bar stuck at about 10%. Then, all at once, something will come unstuck and the page finishes loading. I started trying to find out what would cause this type of behavior, especially since switching from Safari to Firefox seems to make the issue go away, at least for me. I cleaned out the Safari cache, and that didn't help. So today I changed my default Domain Name Server to see if that solves the problem. So far, so good. Anyway, a little progress report, and a fervent hope that this post will see the light of day.

  11. CAMP above else, and that sure helps. Gay-CAMP masterpiece: "The Valley of the Dolls", with the immortal exchange "your husband is not a man". Runner up:" Mommie's Dearest" with La Dunnaway doing the best to emulate La Crawford's eyebrows.
