Of course they do. They always have. Deej/Rockhard has had issues with the site from its inception. I have not been to that site, but I would bet money the nastiness is from one of the above names from what I have been told is the same individual. When I first read of this, I was more than a little peeved at AIG. However, further research led me to believe that the board was just covering their ass against a future lawsuit by Hank Greenberg. Greenberg was ousted as AIG CEO in one of Eliot Spitzer's witch hunts just prior to his pulling his Humpty-Dumpty act with those $1000/hour ho's. Hank still controls about 9% of AIG's common, is suing everybody in sight over the AIG collapse and asked to pitch his latest lawsuit against the Feds to the board. They had little choice but to listen.

A new season last night for one of my favorite shows: Justified. The last seasons of this show have been consistently excellent. The start of this new year looks like it is going to keep up with the excellent writing and story lines. Plus, I just love me some Timothy Olyphant!

It really is one of the best shows on TV.

It is a nice trip, thanks to Maikon and Lucas. For a "sex trip" as axiom will call it, I have gone quite monogamous Maikon got a haircut, a little stub on his face, unshaven for a few days, looks even hotter. They certainly win the corporate Tin Ear of the Decade award. Fascinating how even near-death experiences often can't rearrange the corporate DNA. Gerstner did it at IBM, Mulally is doing it at Ford, but just goes to show there aren't enough Gerstners or Mulallys to go around. People I know inside GM despair that despite the purge during bankruptcy of many surplus idiots, relief (fair or not to the labor force) from the pension overhangs etc., forced reduction in its absurdly large number of brands, new senior mgt, and promotion of fair numbers of competent deserving managers to replace time-servers and "presiders" who had been sitting on them, nonetheless the thing is now drifting right back into the same stifling brain-dead bureaucratic inability to make or execute timely correct decisions as drove it into the ditch before. Argh.

Without a doubt most cruises to the Gulf are quite ordinary, especially after taking one or two. Seemingly they all go to the same places, more or less, and offer the same amenities, more or less. Therefore going for a 1 week cruise from FLL or MIA or TPA is basically just choosing one's favorite cruise line. A price concession offered by one or more of the lines might be the determining factor at least among the upper tier of lines or probably the middle tier as most of the top tier does not operate such cruises. Just pick HAL or Princess or whatever line seems attractive and go for it. Or, look at the tier just above those, Crystal and 1 or 2 others, and pick a cruise from them. There are too many bargains among the middle tiers to choose from among the "bottom tiers". I have been satisfied with such as HAL and Princess and a couple of others but I am not looking for over the top luxury but rather simple good service with a medium sized ship. By medium size I mean not the new very large ships. One "experiment" will tell you a lot about what line and what kind of ship and which destinations suit you the best. Don't be afraid to just pick one and go. The "right" companion can make up for any deficiencies. Best regards, RA1
