One of the boyfriends went home to his family near Korat and celebrated Loy Krathong. He really enjoys taking photos and he gave me permission to share these with you. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do. (yes, the photo of him and the lady with the lantern is his girlfriend/wife for many years)

This was last night!

For Pattaya Fireworks 2012, there are four countries participating in, China, Singapore, Canada and The United States.The first night they each shot off 10 min or so worth of fireworks. The 2nd night they all shot off for 45 minutes. I do not yet know who won but I'll try to find out. Last year China won. It is a fun event as they close off beach road completely for those 2 days. It makes traffic a mess but there are tons of vendors, food, etc. on the street. It is a very festive atmosphere. Also, usually over 100,000 people come here to see this. That means Pattaya is esp. packed!
