it's not colonial, it's cultural.  In reality we all humas first, Christian (or insert other religion , add atheists) second, nationals third and only locals last.  It's broadly speaking , culture which placed it all upside down and we , stupid people place in  those allegiances  other way around.  I remember from my childhood case when unmarried girl from my grandparent village got pregnant bringing shame on all family. Shame  not because she got impregnated while unmarried but because guy was from other  village, not her own. For me sounded unreal then and still sounds now. By the way 60 odd years later, they are still together.  what was colonial fault it was splitting, yes the same people of Africa or Middle East ,  by artificial borders  decided in Berlin, London or Paris  not in Kampala, Beirut  or Bamako.

For those already getting by with current tech options and not in a rush to spend more on apps and devices, or to perfect or simplify, new AI speech translation developments aim to remove the text component from the existing speech-> text-> speech sequence. In fact, it appears that the audio output would be as if your own voice is speaking the other language. Additionally, continuous output during speaking, minimal delay.

This is turning into a very different conversation than the OP intended, and I don’t mean to thread jack. But Barcelona, Spain, Lisbon, Portugal and Medellin, Colombia are all going through an anti-tourism, even anti-expat wave right now. Much of it is fueled by rising housing prices and costs of living, but some is also cultural — many non-locals seemingly disrespecting or disregarding local customs, etc. I am hyper-sensitive to this in Rio and other parts of Brazil, as a gringo expat here. I have yet to experience this much here, but I think it’s important to try to prevent it as much as possible: keep prices affordable for Brazilians, speak in the language, watch out for my Europeanisms / Americanisms. And call out bad behavior by my fellow non-Brazilians whenever I can and try to be a good ambassador / steward. After all, when they are all gone, I still have to live here — the tourists don’t. 

Hello everyone,  I'm very new to this forum, but I have read through a lot of existing posts and the community is amazing and offers a lot of brilliant advice.  I visited Tokyo for 8 days in Febuary and thought it would make a good first post. I apologise for my writing style in advance as I am not 100% fluent. I read through a lot of the posts in the Japan sub-forum and reviewed a lot of the options in preparation my visit.    An Independence  On my second night in Tokyo, I pre-booked Haruki from An Independence for a 2 hours out-call. Although a small part of his face was covered, he looked very attractive and it looked like he had an amazing body. The site also stated that he spoke some English which was definitely an advantage. If anyone considers booking from An Independence, I would definitely recommend also visiting the Japanese version of the site and using Google Translate as it has a lot more information in comparison to the English site such as reviews. Haruki had very many great reviews on the Japanese version of the site which made me feel a lot more comfortable booking him.  I was staying at an airbnb near Minato City instead of a hotel as I thought it would be a bit more discreet. The airbnb was great overall and was much larger compared with most of the hotel rooms I have stayed at in Tokyo. It was on the 7th floor of an apartment building, there was a 7-eleven right outside, it had an elevator and there were also no other rooms on the floor.  The room had a large bathroom with a shower and bath, dining area with kitchen, a sofa bed and a regular queen size bed as well as a washer and dryer.  The booking process was relatively simple with An Independence, but it did take some back and forth. I selected an out-call for 120 minutes and provided my time and date preferences as well as the location of the airbnb.  If you make a booking via the web form, you receive a reply with a link to a web portal which allows for messaging between you and the company. They were initially unsure of the address I provided, so there were a few back and forth messages before they would confirm the booking. I provided the photographs from my airbnb location guide which resolved the concerns. The cost was 22,000 yen for 120 minutes including the travel cost, which was particularly reasonable due to the Yen exchange rate at the time. I waited by the entrance of my building for Haruki to arrive. He was only a few minutes late, but apologised profusely. As soon as we entered the room, it was evident that he was wowed by the room and eagerly attempted to peek through the curtains to see the view which I found endearing. It was obvious right away that he was very confident and not shy or meek at all. He embraced me and started kissing me as we were looking out the window and we soon both started removing our clothes. I won't go in to too many details about our time together but it was amazing. He looks better than the images on the site, particularly his face which is very handsome. He told me that he works out every day and that is really evident in person. We tried quite a few positions and as we are both vers, so we switched roles throughout. Haruki has a lot of stamina and is willing to be as gentle or rough as you would like or can take. He really is well endowed and thick as stated in his profile. We laughed a lot toghether throughout and it definitely felt like he also had a good time but, if not, his acting was superb which was good enough for me.  Haruki was also able to finish quite easily when requested which was nice.  I was really impressed with how well-prepared Haruki was. In his backpack he carried change, condoms and lube which I imagine is quite standard, but he also had towels and wet wipes to ensure cleanliness and to prevent any soiling of the customer's bedding. After the fun, we cuddled for a bit and had a really nice conversation. His English is really good so we didn't need to use a translator and his cuddles were very nice too. He told me that he had been doing this as his sole job for almost four years which explained his professionalism and confidence. Prior to his departure, we showered together which was very intimate and enjoyable and he then provided me with a business card and a voucher code for a future appointment. He initiated quite a few hugs before he finally left, which was also really nice and felt like a proper BFE.  I would definitely recommend An Independence and would use them again in the future.  An Indepdence Rating: 9/10 due to minor booking back and forth Haruki Rating: 10/10 on all fronts.    Heros Tokyo I had seen a few good reviews in the forum about this establishment so I decided on booking someone from here to compare with my experience at An Independence. It was a few days after my first booking but I was at the same airbnb.  There were a decent number of options and it was therefore a little hard to pick somone, but I eventually settled on Kazunari due to his profile and reviews. The booking was a lot simpler in comparison with An Independence and was done solely over Line. There were similar questions to the An Indepence form but there was no back and forth. I selected an out-call for 120 minutes again and the cost was 21,000 yen. As with Haruki, I waited outside for Kazunari and he arrived exactly on time. After entering the room, Kazunari was eager to get down to business so we started embracing and kissing, However, it was very clear that he was a lot more shy in comparison with Haruki, possibly due to his age or lack of experience in the job so I had to take the lead. He did look like the images on the site but wasn't as attractive in-person. He was also quite sweaty which was particularly noticeable when removing his clothing which were saturated. His mouth had an unusal taste when we were kissing (some sort of unusual flavoured candy and not bad teeth or anything) so I had to suggest we move to the bathroom before continuing any further. I have read quite a few reports here stating that meetings usual start with showering and mouthwash, but both of my experiences did not follow that convention. I am not sure if I was meant to initiate this practice or not or I may have missed some cues due to language/cultural barriers. After the shower, we moved to the bed. Kazunari is also vers, but I did not want to top on this day so he topped me in many different positions. The dimensions in his profile are accurate and he is quite big and thick.  He doesn't speak any English at all so communication was quite difficult but we managed via translation apps. He was actually an even better top than Haruki, but he didn't seem as into it (or at least didn't act as well as Haruki). I'm not saying it didn't look like he was enjoying it at all, but it was a very different experience in comparison with Haruki which may just be due to the language barrier and experience level. Whilst he was topping, he would stare into my eyes with a somewhat mixed happy/concentrated facial expression but never said anything and didn't even make any noise at all throughout. It's quite hard to describe and I'm normally a big fan of eye contact, but this did feel a little strange in ways I am unable to really express.  He was able to finish, but I wasn't able to so we just jumped in the shower before he left. He wasn't as prepared as Haruki and just had condoms and lube and nothing else.  It was an okay experience overall, but the perfect experience with Haruki may have over-shadowed it somewhat. I would use Heros again due to the booking experience but I would likely choose someone else.  Heros Tokyo Rating: 10/10 Kazunari Rating: 5/10 Danshi Gakuen Similarly to Heros, I had read a lot of good things about Danshi Gakuen in forum posts and the selection was really good with locations across Japan. It was really difficult picking someone from this establishment due to the number and variety of options available. However, the choice was a lot easier to make when I spotted Ruiya in the options for Tokyo store. He is a popular Japanese AV star and I had seen quite a few of his videos in the past so I was keen to meet him person. He is normally at the Osaka store but was working in the Tokyo store for a few weeks on rotation, so I was very lucky to even get a chance for an appointment with him. The process for booking was very similar to An Independence with the web form but it switched to emails after the initial contact instead of a web messaging portal. However, due to Ruiya's short time in Tokyo he was very popular and it was therefore quite difficult finding a slot when he was even free. It took multiple days and quite a few emails to finally find a slot when he was free. I booked him for 2 hours as an out-call for 22,000 yen for my last night in Tokyo before departing.  I had moved to an even nicer airbnb by this point. It was a two floor entire Japanese house in Shinagawa. I initially had a quite small hotel room booked, however the two-story house was actually cheaper than the cost of the hotel per night so I cancelled that and re-booked the house instead. The property had just been listed on airbnb so it was actually brand new which was a nice surprise. I provided the updated address to Danshi Gakuen the day before the meeting and they had zero issues and it was quick to resolve with them.  When Ruiya arrived exactly on time, he rang the intercom and I welcomed him in. I invited him upstairs as that was the location of the living room/dining/kitchen area and I handed him the money before we sat on the couch. Unlike my other two experiences, Ruiya contacted his office to confirm he was in the correct location for the meeting which I assumed was for safety and so that the office was aware that he was able to find the customer's location successfully.  Ruiya looked exactly like the pictures on his profile and the videos he has made. If you are a fan of twinks, you would likely appreciate his appearance a lot. We started upstairs and then moved downstairs to the main bedroom. Ruiya is also vers and we switched role on occasion but he was primarily the top. He isn't as well-endowed as Haruki or Kazunari but is really able to work well with what he has. He has amazing stamina and was a great top overall, equivalent to my other two experiences. It appeared like he was having a great time which definitely made the experience a lot better. I finished while on top and it launched quite violently at Ruiya's chin and face which made us both laugh a lot. Ruiya tried to finish but was unable to do so, possibly due to the number of appointments per day he was having whilst in Tokyo, and this was a little disappointing but not the end of the world and very understandable.  The post-fun cuddles were really nice and we then jumped in the shower together which was very intimate and enjoyable. Ruiya speaks very little English but we managed to have a really nice conversation afterwards with google translate whilst relaxing on the couch. I offered him some delicious strawberries that I had purchased earlier in the day which he ate enthusiastically. He initiated multiple hugs before eventually leaving.  Danshi Gakuen Rating: 10/10 - although it was a little frustrating having to go back and forth, it was a lot more understandable due to Ruiya's short term in Tokyo and his general popularity.  Ruiya Rating: 10/10 Overall, I had a great time whilst in Tokyo and I really liked how efficient such booking services were. I particularly like that you can see everyone who is available, reviews and what they look like before meeting and also how the pricing is very clear up front. As with a lot of things in Japan, it is such an efficient and safe process and is not seedy (or at least does not feel like it) in any way. I also surprisingly had some luck on the apps as a foreigner for hookups, but a lot were solely bottoms unfortunately.  I'm already eager to travel back to Japan and try out many more options (and obviously enjoy all of the other benefits in Japan too). However, the flight is very long and expensive so that makes it a bit more difficult. In some ways I am glad that this is a deterrent else I would likely be spending way too much money in establishments like these 😂 I hope this has helped someone and apologies for the length and writing correctness in advance.
