What a shock! We could have met for drinks or a meal together yesterday if I had known you were in Bangkok @jimmie50. I am now at airport. End of weekend trip. I am happy for you and your guy. Wishing you great times and unforgettable experiences. I will be in Bangkok again in 2 weeks time, for Pride Parade on Sunday 31 May, which travels along Silom Road.

I know most Viet guys working at Fresh Boy are married but I never expected any one of them to be married to a Thai wife! I am curious to find out who!

Many of these girls also work in bars. It’s sort of like how actors can marry each other and not mind if their partner films intimacy scenes with another actor, they know it’s strictly professional. Though of course hiccups can happen (Brangelina comes to mind). Generally they mind far less if their guy is going with other guys. Vice versa it makes me wonder how bar guys are so relaxed about the fact their girlfriends are off with different men all the time. I once met a European woman who was in a relationship with a Cambodian bar boy and was stepmothering his two kids. 

This was exactly true when I lived in Budapest for 8 years. One of my main massage guys was a military bi army guy and his wife was ok with it - as long as his customers were male.  After many years of getting to know him, I also got to know his wife - as he would often call her to say that he was at my place and I would often speak to her.  Unfortunately, that bastard was using me as an alibi to go with other women - because unbeknownst to me he was telling his beautiful wife that he was going to massage me but was instead f$%king other women.  So, one evening she called me frantically looking for him and I told him that he was not at my place and that is when everything was exposed.  She was angry at him for going with other women and I was mad at him for using me as an alibi to go with other women. On Thursday evenings, at the Action Bar (now closed) in Budapest was a reoccurring event = "Get to know your escort night" and the owner of the bar would invite the many escorts to sit and drink with the customers.  I had the hots for one of their regulars who performed in the Oral Academy show on the weekends and he was at the Thursday night event with his wife.  I bought both of them a drink and I asked him if I could have a private session with him at my place and he told me to talk to his business partner (his wife) to negotiate the deal.  After agreeing on the deal terms I said to her, aren't you jealous?  She replied no - I get to manage and approve who he goes with and it brings in extra income into our household.  Amazing.  

To intentionally mix stock and flying metaphors, you will have to decide. Is this a buy the dip moment?  Or is this Trump just crashing?  Both can be true at the same time! Speaking of which, it is possible to despise Trump, and profit off his antics.  I made a lot of money buying the big dip last April when he had a tariff tantrum. And, speaking of dips:   If you don't recognize him, that's Tom Lee on the left, Wall Street perma-bull.  I found that graphic because it is simple.  Here is Tom Lee's own version of it:     Note that was from January of this year.  He has been right so far. It's probably not exactly clear, but that chart is basically a composite of US stock market performance in every midterm election year since 1928.  The standard vocabulary I keep hearing is midterm elections are "choppy" market years.  Usually followed by a year with unusually good returns.  That has nothing to do with who the POTUS is.  It's the way the stock market has been.  And what seems to be accepted by many Wall Street people as dogma. So in any midterm year, odds are we'll have a "crash", to use the word in the image above, going right into the elections.  In a year when we are losing a war, oil prices are rising, inflation is hot, and mortgage rates are up, it's probably even more likely. So Wall Street, if this plays out, will basically be saying:  "Donald Trump, you are a worthless piece of shit.  You, worthless piece of shit, are losing a war that is fucking up the global economy.  You, worthless piece of shit, are bringing back inflation.  You, worthless stupid piece of shit, are making long rates go up.  What part of being a worthless piece of shit do you not understand, you worthless piece of shit?" Granted, it's not exactly news that Trump is a worthless losing piece of shit.  Except to him.  But if anybody can pierce the worthless piece of shit's narcissistic armor, it may be Wall Street.  Greed loves greed, and listens to it. Speaking of greed, I wouldn't mind a nice buyable dip this fall. Meanwhile, back to the airline thing.  Buckle your seat belts.  It may be a bumpy ride.
